Cleanest pub I've ever been too. Great value.

Bar service was good as we're the Scottish beers. Ordered food which only took a few minutes and tables were spotless. Friendly efficient staff.

Risky parked!!! Why don’t use the CCTV to monitor the clients how much foods they have consumed? This Shop provides parking spaces to customers. But if you forgot to registered to extend parking, you would feel tense while you received the fine notice required to pay £45 or £75. 📶weakness Rubbish idiot policy!

Nice place, reasonable prices, staff friendly, either order via app or at the bar free parking for 2 hours, but as long as you register your car on the parking app at the bar you can park for longer

Food was good! Came hot as it should. Major downfall of this place is the staff. particularly the management. The blonde woman was not very kind. I had sat down for a pint with intention to hang with some locals, after being named a teuchter and other very nasty things, amongst some homophobic comments thrown around, I was barred for the night without providing my reasoning because the other folk were "there for longer". No consideration for other parties as apparently the majority get their say. In my opinion, this is NOT professional in any means necessary. However, I should note that I was welcome to come back another day, does this seem like a fair gesture or not? I will leave it up to the reader to decide. From my point, this is shocking behaviour. A classic case of racism from the team and taking the majorities side without considering the third party. Can clearly state who has been educated and who has not.

It's not the best of Spoons. A little basic. Not as much character as we've come to expect from Spoons.

Busy the day we visited. Ordered 2 paninis and chips plus the drinks with food. Chips came overcooked and slightly cold, disappointing 😞 Paninis were OK, not very warm, again 😞 Pleasant enough visit. Staff were pleasant enough.

One of our group ate only a small bit of their main course and we asked for it to be boxed to takeaway. The kitchen made a mistake with the request and made a fresh meal.

Was in today for lunch, had a mixed grill and wasn't impressed with the quality of some of the meat, won't be rushing back.

Maybe the cheapest Spoons around. You can't really complain about a pint and a meal for a tenner.

Very reasonably priced (eg £9 for scampi and a G&T, £10 for pizza and a Prosecco), efficient ordering using the app (no waiting for nine of us to tell a server what we wanted and no 'divvyin up' when paying, where the folk who had a water sub those who had a pint and a chaser), quick service and a pleasant atmosphere...all in all a good lunch 😋.

Good central place to meet up for a day out and today was great too, sitting chewing the fat with complete stranger in the sunshine

Good pub, the food was good ,not exceptional but adequate. This is a busy pub so it is always noisy. They have a family section so you can bring the kids here. The also have a good kids menu

Visited on a Friday afternoon and easily parked in a disabled bay. Plenty of seating, good food, friendly staff and very quick service ordering on the app.

A beacon of hope in a desolate land, dehydrated and with nary a crumb to my name- I was guided here. Here you can expect the finest scran, golden flutes of champagne and a glorious head on your Tennents. Without this place I would have keeled over and I owe my life to Anniesland spoons, Esquire House. Big ups JDW.

Can't Recommend ⭐⭐⭐ Most Spoons are a 4⭐ for me, but my local is always packed, noisy, and has the stickiest tables. At least this one gets the food right most of the time. Love me a gammon and chips.

Grub fair good choice but in yesterday got fish and chips pity the fish was burnt to crisp

Went for lunch Tuesday 5/9/23 , with mum and sister , workmen doing something to front doors , all we heard was banging, hammering, drilling, made our time at pub very unpleasant, this could have been done before pub opened .

Had the curry night on Thursday it was like a dogs dinner never again esquire own me two rolls of toilet rolls

Yes liked the place tea and coffee and two meals and ☕🍵 and reasonable prices or alcohol 💯

The staff were great and service of our food was quite quick for a Friday night prices were great will certainly be back

Really nice Weatherspoons pub. It's huge and has a lot of tables. The food is your typical pub grub but is very good. Prices are very reasonable. Nice place for a meet up as there is no loud music and you can have a great chat. Would definitely use again.

This pub has a nice vibe to it. Staff are really very friendly. Only downside is where the toilets are situated....at the bottom of a Staircase.

We popped in for breakfast, was really nice. Have to say though out all the wetherspoons we've had breakfast at this one done the best haggis and black pudding. Will definitely be visiting again

We've visited this Wetherspoon's twice now and the food is delicious, fresh and served fairly quickly. The atmosphere is lovely and would recommend sitting outside on a good day - both smoking & non-smoking sections.

Good for a pint. Also have reasonable microwave food.

Cheap and cheerful witherspoons

Good afternoon, I am sitting disappointed with my diner, I dropped in to weatherspoons ( the Esquire House) ordered 2 sirloin stakes, both sirloin stakes were stringy, a big rind of grizzle so a total loss, when pointing this out to the duty manager he offered desert as compensation, not a happy customer, new venue required, 😢 😞 😕 😔

The Usual atmosphere for a weatherspoons pub, I've been in 3 or 4 times now , the chicken wings are good and better than other JDs I've visited and the fish and chips have been much better also , so this will now be my JDs of choice

Asked the staff to clean the table before our food arrived. Not done had to do it ourselves. Not a very hygienic place

Staff was great, food has good prices, bit dull as no music (I've been told that's normal though). Can be good for a quick stop or a long night.

Ordered a normal size brownie, got a small one instead. When saying that it shouldn't be this small to the waiter, he said that's just what size they come with, when upon looking at picture reviews you can clearly see the difference.

A clean and spacious spoons with friendly staff. A bit brightly lit for a relaxing pub experience but not the end of the world. Food is generally on point for the price and the staff are hard working and diligent. You can't knock anything but the owner. Updated the review because the staff make this place great. In terms of service and food quality at the price point. They are heroes

Really nice Wetherspoons pub. It's large , welcoming and friendly. The staff are very pleasant, and the food was really good. Great value, honest boozing! Always travel out to here, when in the centre of Glasgow.... It's that good!

Had a great time, had food and a Few bud lights. Only thing was the food was very good but not very warm.

Last time I was in this public house was about 1998! It has changed, it is very bright due to a full glass wall. Guinness was very nice, it was a good bit cheaper than the other pubs we ended up in £3.21 a pint instead of £4.95/£5.53! I like the absence of music and especially sport in the pub I wish more pubs pulled the plug on these so called entertainment.

As always Wetherspoons delivers! If you want a pint of conditioned, well looked after, and affordable beer, then this is the place to visit. Food is such good value you will be lucky to price match it anywhere.

Food was not hot enough, so taken back and heated again. Just warm enough second time. Actual taste of breakfast was good.
