Inexplicably just stopped being a restaurant. Can't find anything about it online. Open but for what purpose I don't know. Now the guests at the associated premier inn next door have nowhere to eat. We were regulars and it was great to have somewhere affordable and reliable to get a meal. We are owed an explanation.

Ordered food and a couple of drinks at lunchtime. Restaurant not full yet we waited an hour for our lunches to arrive. After politely asking staff where our meals were, we got very gruff responses, and no explanation or apology for the long wait. Paid for our drinks and left. We won’t be going back. It takes nothing to be polite to customers but this was somewhat lacking

A table of four, we each had a large traditional Scottish breakfast. Service from Mandy was excellent (well done Mandy) and food was first rate, all served on nicely warmed plates. We appreciated the efficient speed of service also. Well worth the visit for a nice breakfast

This place goes from bad to worse. Service is at snails pace - the staff clearly wish they were somewhere ( anywhere) else. No urgency, no smiles - just awful. If any of these staff worked in any stand alone coffee shop they would be dismissed. If this coffee shop wasn’t attached to a garden centre it would have closed by now. All that said all the faults are entirely down to the local management. There is clearly inadequate training and inadequate supervision leading to what looks like a totally cheesed off work force. Just awful.
