I was recommended to come and check out the antiques and the lovely food in the cafeteria, the staff were very welcoming and attentive.

A fantastic brunch today. I had been given an itison voucher for my birthday for 2 brunch dishes and either 2 hot drinks or non alcoholic wine. We opted for an Americano and a tea, fantastic big cups, and an apple juice for my son. Ordered the Gourie Goucho and the travelling Scotsman for eating and my son insisted on Mac cheese which the kitchen were very accommodating with, even at 10am! All food was delicious and you can tell the quality in the ingredients as well as the banter. A fantastic place, where you you wait for quality fresh food. Brilliant, quirky spot.

This is a brief review of my experience. It was Saturday 2nd November and my wife decided to have a spot of lunch at the Glendoick garden centre cafe. Upon arriving the queue was not too bad and the wait only 20 mins or so. My wife ordered the fish and chips and I ordered a cheeseburger. approx 20 mins later the food arrived. My cheese burger was the most rubbery disc of processed, well I don't know what, shall I politely say it was not edible. The fish on the other hand was fresh and quite palatable. The staff thanked me for bringing the matter to their attention. Upon arriving back home I felt most unwell.

We have dropped in here when our on the bikes as we live in the route so by the time we get to the Horn you can smell the bacon as you cycle towards it. It gets me sometimes so I need to have that one bacon butter fix however, it’s streaky bacon and it is quite obviously deep fried. For me a little is ok but you get tons on your roll . I always feel sick when I return to my bike. When will I ever learn !! I have heard that this is closing down and they are rebuilding it ? But don’t know how accurate that is. Maybe the bacon rolls will be better cooked in the new place?
