Nice cosy small pub on the most famous street in York.

A small garden to walk around if you have NT membership and a nice view of the house, perhaps to sit outside by the lawn and read a book (but for a few years now, no tours of/ entry into the house itself)

What a lovely independent cafe very friendly service food well presented and good quality.Have to say the toilet facilities were very clean. All round good value and worth a visit .

Great food, made for a fantastic afternoon

Called in for breakfast as I regularly pass this, after a short discussion between the two people serving I was offered a sandwich. Sign says breakfast served Monday to Thursday ? Lost a customer before you got one, won't be back. Well I don't normally edit but having seen the response I'll put up the verbatim conversation; "What can I get you love?" "A breakfast please" "Is that to take away or eat in ?" "Eat in thanks" "Mmmm, have we got the stuff in to do a breakfast?" (To her colleague, looking in the fridge) "I can do you a sandwich" "I'll leave it thanks" And I left. Now tell me, in what way is that rude ? I understand that one star reviews are not good and I don't give them lightly, you said you sold breakfasts but in reality you didn't. Don't make this about a failing on my part, it wasn't, the failing was yours.

Second time we've stopped by for a quick bite to eat whilst visiting York and the sandwiches have been good each time. The beer selection is pretty good and the service is quick and friendly.

Easy to book on line Reasonable waiting time. Nice atmosphere Great food. Our table had three different choices - duck, beef and trout. All of which were beautifully cooked Lovely staff who were cheerful helpful and attentive. Would recommend.

A hidden gem! Osbourne at 68 is a wonderful place to eat, with delicious food that is both lovely and reasonably priced. The staff are so warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. And the cakes—absolutely amazing! Fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. Whether you're stopping by for a coffee and a treat or a full meal, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend!

Reservamos esto para el regalo de Navidad de mi madre y a pesar de reservar hace un tiempo nos dieron probablemente la peor mesa para una ocasión especial. Una mesa oblonga muy grande con capacidad para 6 personas para nosotros tres al lado de la caja a pesar de que hay muchas mesas redondas vacías más pequeñas. La comida era muy decepcionante, a pesar de su aspecto esquisito y demasiado ambicioso para todos los gustos. ¡Mi madre de 85 años solo podía comerse los bollos! Todo fue bastante extraño y el pan empezó a envejecer.

We booked in advance for the 9 course tasting meal and it did not disappoint except perhaps for the asparagus! It was well balanced and can be held up high with many Michelin starred restaurants. The service was very good with each course well explained. We shared the wine paring as it would have been too much wine for us. The tables are well apart from each other. Enjoyed the amuse bouche too. Would recommend.
