Debido a una condición médica tengo una dieta muy restringida, pero realmente quería ir a Hern ya que he oído críticas tan grandes. Se les preguntó de antemano si podían atenderme y accedieron. Me consultaron en cada curso, tuve una comida fabulosa y nunca me hicieron sentir una molestia. No puedo agradecerles lo suficiente.

La ruleta siempre hace un desayuno completo de calidad y siempre estoy lleno cuando llega la hora del té. He estado un par de veces, el propietario siempre nos reconoce, es respetuoso y siempre hacen conversación educada. Le hicieron a mi compañero una taza de té y se la trajeron antes del desayuno, a pesar de que él pidió tomarla después de haber comido y por eso le trajeron otra en el momento en que se la pidió, de forma gratuita. El café está impecable y generalmente ocupado con familias, parejas, etc. Perfecto para un desayuno completo después de una noche. . .

So good to find a suburban village-style pub open every lunchtime with the added bonus of a great choice of cask ales and Sky Sports on in the background.

I asked for a recommendation, as I tend to when I know I am in restaurants that serve authentic food. I had the chicken wrap with salad and chips. It was fully loaded and tasted amazing. I would go again in a heart beat - and will.

The girl on the til and Phillip were really lovely and helpful and the fish and chips are best in Leeds. Little bit of a wait but worth it!

i fell in love with Yorkshire pudding and the roast got me hooked! beef and pork, cauliflower, pork cracklings, stuffing and oh that gravy! 😍 Ross C has been so helpful with our order and Cass as well at the Roast serving section. Will visit again for the lamb roast and Sunday roast. 😁

Visitamos aquí en diciembre para ver la obra improvisada de Murder Inc. Fue una noche fantástica. Tuvimos un tiempo encantador y nos encantó todas las decoraciones festivas. Lo único que deseaba era que la cafetera se mantuviera encendida más tarde pero me encantaba mi Prosecco.

Disappointed! Over priced CHEAP wine served by the manager who promptly talked me into buying a full bottle as I was buying 2 glasses anyway. No cooler was given, returned to the bar for a cooler and served promptly by the bar staff. The owner/manager who’d served me not 5 mins earlier (who encouraged me to buy the bottle) heard me ask for a cooler and offered no apology for not providing me with one in the first place. I did not feel like a valued customer, it wasn’t welcoming and I won’t give the place a third try. The toilet visit didn’t go well either. No toilet paper in the dispenser at all but a huge new full roll on the floor next to the toilet base, not clean!! Don’t be fooled by the appearance from the outside, it doesn’t flow through to the rest of the business. Over priced and badly managed I’m sad to say. I’m shocked that someone has invested in something and appears to be uninterested about their own business. I was planning on eating but the whole experience told me not to bother.

Feeling peckish my friend decided he wanted fish & chips, we were on the Headrow so l thought of Nash's even though l've never eaten there. The reason for that is the business & alley approach looks so unwelcoming. And it did again...7 large green general waste dustbins right outside, rubbish everywhere. Now l know this is not the fault of Nash's but it's plain off-putting, they could screen it off for a small outlay. Secondly l said to my pal "lt's shut", everything about it led me to thinking that, even with an "open" flyer on the door, l was amazed the door opened when l pushed it. Oh oh, totally empty, no food in the fryers, really strange. The woman behind the counter was great, she explained that it was cooked fresh & wouldn't take long. 2 fish & chips were ordered and tbh l was not expecting much. I was wrong, the fish was really good and the chips fine & plentiful, mushy peas ok if a bit watery. The only negative was the tomato sauce, it was terrible, orange & cheap. Whilst we were eating 2 other customers arrived, so 4 in probably 40 minutes there. There is something wrong here, the food was good, the woman friendly & efficient but it is devoid of any atmosphere or decent furnishings, to me it looks like totally wasted potential. I'd probably give it another try, maybe l caught it on an unusually quiet day, but still, please make an effort on the approach & frontage to make it more welcoming, l'm sure it'd make huge difference.

Este café NO es para gente morena. Nos quedamos de pie y esperamos casi 10 minutos sin acuse de recibo. Trabajadores pasando y evitando el contacto visual. Sin embargo, cuando una dama blanca se acercó fue atendida y vista en el minuto. Fantástica representación de la Gran Bretaña actual. Asqueroso.
