Honestly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. As I have a dairy intolerance I was nervous about a set menu, but when we arrived I had my own printed menu with real adjustments made rather than just items removed! We felt so looked after and the food was incredible - it’s obvious that Hern really value where they obtain their produce. Can’t wait to come back soon!

He estado un par de veces, el propietario siempre nos reconoce, es respetuoso y siempre hacen conversación educada. Le hicieron a mi compañero una taza de té y se la trajeron antes del desayuno, a pesar de que él pidió tomarla después de haber comido y por eso le trajeron otra en el momento en que se la pidió, de forma gratuita. El café está impecable y generalmente ocupado con familias, parejas, etc. Perfecto para un desayuno completo después de una noche. . .

I've not eaten before, but I have eaten at other Greene King pubs and their food has been great. I spent part of my evening with family and friends after having food elsewhere. The Regent has very friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

This restaurant has a new menu. Unfortunately, a lot of the items were not present at lunchtime. The food itself was reasonable and a good portion. There were a lot of vegetarian items available. One small point is that the men’s toilet did not have a functioning dryer and there was nowhere to dry hands.

I asked for a recommendation, as I tend to when I know I am in restaurants that serve authentic food. I had the chicken wrap with salad and chips. It was fully loaded and tasted amazing. I would go again in a heart beat - and will.

Visitamos aquí en diciembre para ver la obra improvisada de Murder Inc. Fue una noche fantástica. Tuvimos un tiempo encantador y nos encantó todas las decoraciones festivas. Lo único que deseaba era que la cafetera se mantuviera encendida más tarde pero me encantaba mi Prosecco.

The girl on the til and Phillip were really lovely and helpful and the fish and chips are best in Leeds. Little bit of a wait but worth it!

Visited to try the kids breakfast for a £1. As I’m only one adult you get one kid for a £1 and the other is full price. The food was not good at all. A few options and look like had been sat there all night. Dried out eggs and greasy bacon and sausages. Really not worth the price. Won’t be recommending or returning. Friendly chef but guy behind the bar wasn’t overly friendly and a bit rude when queried the price as I didn’t realise it was a £1 for kids per adult.

Feeling peckish my friend decided he wanted fish & chips, we were on the Headrow so l thought of Nash's even though l've never eaten there. The reason for that is the business & alley approach looks so unwelcoming. And it did again...7 large green general waste dustbins right outside, rubbish everywhere. Now l know this is not the fault of Nash's but it's plain off-putting, they could screen it off for a small outlay. Secondly l said to my pal "lt's shut", everything about it led me to thinking that, even with an "open" flyer on the door, l was amazed the door opened when l pushed it. Oh oh, totally empty, no food in the fryers, really strange. The woman behind the counter was great, she explained that it was cooked fresh & wouldn't take long. 2 fish & chips were ordered and tbh l was not expecting much. I was wrong, the fish was really good and the chips fine & plentiful, mushy peas ok if a bit watery. The only negative was the tomato sauce, it was terrible, orange & cheap. Whilst we were eating 2 other customers arrived, so 4 in probably 40 minutes there. There is something wrong here, the food was good, the woman friendly & efficient but it is devoid of any atmosphere or decent furnishings, to me it looks like totally wasted potential. I'd probably give it another try, maybe l caught it on an unusually quiet day, but still, please make an effort on the approach & frontage to make it more welcoming, l'm sure it'd make huge difference.
