Portside in Leeds

The girl on the til and Phillip were really lovely and helpful and the fish and chips are best in Leeds. Little bit of a wait but worth it!

The takeaway order was missing an item so we called to report it and have it sorted out. I got passed around three people and eventually spoke to the manager (I think) who said it wasn't his problem. Someone is now without their food. Will be avoiding from now on.

We ordered for delivery which never arrived! ? fault of Just Eat. Reordered but wish we hadn't. Tasteless fish and the scallops were the worst I'd ever had. The potato was wafer thin and they were cold. Very disappointed!

Excellent value lovely freshly cooked fish and chips. Best fish and chips locally. Would recommend it.

Good- decent portions ,fast service,clean, Not so good- a lingering aftertaste of oil, asked for salt n vinegar but assistant forgot. I will try again.

I can’t fault the service and cleanliness of this fish and chip takeaway but was disappointed with the lingering taste of the oil the chips were cooked in. My neighbour felt the same. At £7 for fish and chips, you certainly get plenty but we couldn’t eat them.

You will have to go a long long way to better the Fish n' chips that we've just eaten. Beautifully fried golden white flakey haddock in the lightest, crispiest golden batter, served with the largest portion of lightly battered crispy chips were nothing short of Amazing!!! Their rapid delivery service should be a lesson to all those slow boats from China delivery services. Highly recommended to all lovers of traditional Yorkshire Haddock & Chips at their very very best.

I made my order using their app. Quick delivery. The chips were the best ever! Piping hot and perfect seasoning with salt and vinegar. I am writing my review 30 minutes after eating the chips because I had to share how good they were! So good!

About gorgeous yet again. Recommended 10/10. Staff are very good. Best chippy around hands down. Cheers James

Wow, it was delicious! I think this place opened recently. Got a takeaway as we hadn’t had fish and chips in ages. It was delicious, well cooked fish, not greasy at all. Excellent . Portions were massive though .... we got the regular fish & chips and none of us could finish our portions. Really clean, tasty food. Sustainable packaging, free delivery , pretty cheap and quick ! Good luck to these guys.

First encounter with swish new chippy where Atlantis used to be, just a short schlep from Chapel Allerton. Excellent, non-greasy fish and chips and vast portions. Free delivery too. The best fish and chips I've eaten in years.
