I think they are in my top five of good fish and chips, and are good value for money. The fish tastes really fresh, and the chips are nice and crispI did notice one thing that I didn't like on my last visit- when the tables were cleared, the jugs of left over milk were topped up and given to new customersThis isn't very hygienic, ' the tables are small, and the milk has been coughed and sneezed over, plus droplets of saliva may have gone in it while speaking over it.Also people may have not washed their hands after using the toilet, and have been handling the jugI think all the jugs should be emptied and washed up properly after each useI realise they are trying to save money by using less milk, but this practice is not acceptable. If there is a lot of milk left in each jug, then they are putting too much in in the first place, and should put less in.The customer can always ask for a top up.I tried to find an email address, but couldn't, so perhaps they will read this, and do something about it, as it rally puts me off now that I have seen this happening. The only other point I would make is that the chairs aren't moveable , so if you're a bit bigger than average, it could be a bit of a squeeze.

I usually visit the local cafe for a post parkrun breakfast. This place is set within a communal garden in the park and was the obvious choice. Whilst queuing (very slow) we saw the quality of the food and decided to just have coffee. These were very strong and bitter with an after taste of burnt coffee beans. I saw a few park runners that were eating, leave their food, one took theirs back. I can’t comment on food but I get the picture.

I left you a review on Google about the fish being raw . To which you replied it wasn't when it clearly was . I asked you to show me the CCTV to prove that you didn't cook the fish long enough. You questioned why I didn't come back straight away. I did but your shutters were down even though you advertise you open all day. I was rude to you, but that was because you accused me of lying even though the evidence was plain to see. And you only returned the money to me after I asked to see your CCTV footage to which you agreed at first then changed your mind. You didn't even cook the fish it was your employee so how could you know for sure he cooked it long enough And If you were so sure the fish was ok you would not have given me a refund . The most annoying thing was you sold me unsafe raw fish and didn't even apologise . You are a stubborn arrogant man who is not bothered about the welfare of his customers . Instead of defending something that you weren't there for. My advice to you is to check your CCTV and then you'll see the truth. Thursday 1.30 ISH .

Recommended by relations and on a day out, we ended up in the newly refurbed Wool Market. Good to go just for the watch, as you pick your choice of ice cream from the extensive menu, then watch it being made. Plenty of choice you might have to que for it but that’s were you can stand and watch the others before you. Staff were good, helpful with their menu choices, I would recommend to any body in the area to give it a go. A big hi 5

It would be one star but the staff were pleasant and the place is spotless so for that and that alone they get an extra star. Today I was served the worst Eggs Benedict I’ve ever eaten. The whole dish was drowning in thin and sickly hollandaise sauce. It was like two poached eggs with some kind of greasy soup poured over it. I left most of the sauce and it just looked like an oil slick covering the plate. The taste was sickly- way too buttery with a strange aftertaste of vinegar. I know M&S can make this dish to perfection because I’ve sampled it elsewhere but today all I can say I’m afraid is yuck!!!!
