Recommended by relations and on a day out, we ended up in the newly refurbed Wool Market.   Good to go just for the watch, as you pick your choice of ice cream from the extensive menu, then watch it being made.   Plenty of choice you might have to que for it but that’s were you can stand and watch the others before you.   Staff were good, helpful with their menu choices, I would recommend to any body in the area to give it a go.   A big hi 5

I ordered a cookie dough from here whilst in the wool market having drinks, what came out to me was not cookie dough but a dry cookie in the bottom of a tinfoil tray. Very overpriced for what it was, lacking any flavour. However I tried some of the ice creams my friends had ordered which were delicious, especially the mint one! I would recommend this place if you are just wanting ice cream but maybe not for any other desserts.

Had an amazing Mother’s Day meal with my family (5 adults plus 2 children) today. We received a warm welcome on arrival and were shown to our table which was beautifully decorated. Service throughout was really good, the food was superb and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We enjoyed starters of soup, fish cakes, cheese parcels and garlic mushrooms followed by sea bass, chicken and pork with plenty of tasty vegetables (broccoli cauliflower carrots roast and mashed potatoes plus parsnips) to accompany our main courses. The desserts included chocolate mousse, Prosecco roulade and ice cream for the little ones. There were drinks to suit everyone too. All in all we had a superb meal in gorgeous surroundings served by the wonderful staff at the Bullrush Bistro. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant!!

Nice friendly service. Free toilet for customers. A bacon meal deal was 3 pounds and includes a free coffee or tea. Free WiFi if you use the BT town centre WiFi.
