The best restaurants serving British food in Settle and Ribblebanks Craven Yorkshire and The Humber

We love this place. Visit on a regular basis. We have gotten to know the owners over the last three years. They are very welcoming and make you feel part of the family. It's their home and comes with a lot of character and charm. Food is absolutely outstanding. Always well cooked and fresh. The prices are spot on. It's not over the top and is well worth every penny. Due to it being so popular, it's advisable to book in advance to avoid disappointment 😞. Service can sometimes be slow, but the food is well worth the wait. Highly recommended for a visit.

Paseó por el centro de Settle desde un paseo en la línea Settle / Carlisle. Estoy buscando un sándwich para el almuerzo. Vio esta tienda y entró. QUÉ DESCUBRIMIENTO. Sándwich caliente de pollo y halloumi cocinado para mí justo delante de mis ojos. Un montón de diferentes opciones todo cocinado a pedido. Vi a 7 personas con sándwiches preparados - 5 de los lugareños. Habla mucho. Muy buena relación calidad-precio. Pruébalo: no te decepcionará.

Best chippy in Settle, no doubt

Gran servicio, gran música, gran variedad de cervezas locales independientes, gran ambiente. Gran variedad de ginebras, gran vino también. Algo para todos en lo que parece un lugar pequeño pero absorbe a la gente como una esponja. Gran lugar.

Really disappointed with our meal, this is one of the worst meal we’ve had in the last few years. The tapas is quite pricey and it was not nice whatsoever I left all 3 of the dishes. It’s a shame as it looked lovely but the Patatas bravas had spicy mayo on instead of aioli which really didn’t go and wasn’t mentioned why it was on instead of the classic usual sauce. It took 50 minutes for the food to come out and there was others complaining about their food taking a while too and there was only 3 tables taken in the place. Expected more as the reviews were mainly good but wouldn’t recommend from personal experience.

Excelente. La comida es preciosa. Nos sentamos en el bar con nuestro perro 🐕 las decoraciones navideñas se ven hermosas. La señora que nos sirvió en 2 horas de té era muy amable

Went for a pre Christmas lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. Hubby raved about the burritos and wanted to go back and have them again but there is only so many things you can do in a week! Lovely little pub. Great staff and great food. Will be back when we come back to the area!!

We stopped here on the way back to Scotland after a few days in the Dales. It was a late lunch and the place was about a third full. The staff were friendly and welcomed us in. Decor is like a homely. The menu consists mainly of local dishes, but I just went for the cheese and mushroom toastie, and a latte. The cheddar was pretty much what you'd expect, with a tangy and robust taste. To be honest a toastie is hard to get wrong anyway.

Visitamos este chippy dos veces en nuestra estancia de cuatro noches a unas diez millas de Settle. Ambos tuvimos el pescado pequeño y patatas fritas especial lo que pensé que era excelente relación calidad-precio. Ambos tuvimos como extra una tina de salsa de curry afrutado que era encantador. Tanto que tuvimos el mismo orden para nuestra segunda visita. La joven que me atendió fue muy agradable y amable. Ella también me sirvió de nuevo la segunda vez y fue muy agradable preguntando cómo habían sido mis vacaciones, etc. Si alguna vez estoy por aquí de nuevo, sin duda voy a hacer una visita.

We have a caravan here. The pub is awesome. The staff are brilliant. Jack and Allan, and especially Caz, who always looks after us. She's a credit to Park holidays.

Extremely cold pub. Sat with our coat on by the open fire. Had a cask which was lovely. Everyone was sat with their coat on complaining about the cold. Heating wasn’t on and not coming on. Wasn’t going to eat in the cold. Huge shame. But went across the road to The Nettle. Lovely and warm and two keg beers on. Perfect. Most other pubs for some reason were closed.

The new management have removed the food but have made it a friendly place for local people to come. My friends and I had a fun time with a fab DJ set, plenty of laughter and dancing
