Julie, Oscar and the Team provided the most amazing buffet for our Daughter’s 18th Birthday party. From our initial meeting to discuss the party, decisions about choice of food, right through until delivery to the venue, nothing was too much trouble. The quality and choice of food was exceptional and we received lots of positive feedback from our guests! The Team were also able to accommodate our Daughter’s nut allergy which was great. A special mention has to be made for the homemade sausage rolls and muffins - absolutely delicious!! Would definitely recommend Foodelicious for anyone planning a party or event.

Clare’s cafe is a wonderful place to eat and chat. All the staff are very friendly knowing most people on first name terms. The food is always very good and full breakfasts are very popular. Jacket potatoes cooked to perfection in potato oven. Lots of people attend the cafe on a regular basis. Very clean very tidy and very welcoming. The meals are well worth the money. It can get very busy around 12pm with table bookings and take away food.

This was the first time we had eaten at the Boat so was interested to see what it was like. It was very welcoming and had a pleasant atmosphere with music playing subtly in the background. We chose to order from the a la carte menu. We shared cheese and walnut tarts and spelt bread with liver parfait as starters but from the snack menu. Both tasted wonderful and were of a reasonable size. Next we ordered chicken with leek and halibut as mains, accompanied with greens and roast potato. Again beautifully cooked and presented. Finally I had cheese and my wife had sticky toffee pudding with ginger ice cream. Again fantastic flavour. Overall we couldn't fault the entire meal. It was a brilliant fine dining experience, topped off by superb service. Our thanks to Mitchell, Emma, Jake, Kelsey and Jess for enhancing the whole experience.

Not a premium experience, especially considering the price charged . The dining room itself feels very dated and gives off 1980’s vibes . The Afternoon tea Menu itself had seen better days , slightly sticky and curled at the edges and that really set the tone . The sandwiches were , well pretty dull and felt like they’d been made some time before . The cakes promised more than they delivered , however the scones were terrific ! When my tea was delivered , the waitress made a point of saying that they used loose leaf tea … fabulous indeed , however the second pot had a cheap Euro style tea bag shoved into the the leaf chamber ! Not premium! Service was slow and a bit disinterested. I certainly won’t be returning for Afternoon Tea . I would try the a la carte menu to see how it compares with other fine dining establishments in the area

This lady is rude with no customer service skills. She got my order completely wrong, ruining the surprise I had planned for a partners birthday. I messaged her asking what happened with the order and she didn’t reply for days. I messaged her again telling her I’d leave a bad review if she didn’t respond with a reason why the order was wrong, and why she has continued to blank me when asked about the order. She then called me being very rude down the phone saying all the things that were right with the order, but saying nothing about getting anything wrong. She just took my money and ran with it! giving me something I didn’t ask for. No offer of a remake, or a refund or even some of the money sent back. Unbelievable. Go elsewhere for your cakes, avoid this woman.

Booked here because we attended a previous funeral the room & food really nice , different story today for my mother’s funeral . We were all packed in to the smallest room you could breath a lot of us stayed outside . The buffet disgusting for what we paid not enough to feed the amount of people we paid per head . I won’t be booking in future and family & friends agreed . Shocking comes to mind .

First time visiting and was not disappointed! The tea room itself was stunning with lots of historic photos, was immaculately clean and staff were lovely, polite and provided excellent customer service. Both my granddaughter & I had a jacket potato and was amazed how big they were and they were really tasty. Best jacket potato I have ever had! Will definitely visit again!

the food was great but what put me off was how she treated her employees ,the girl looked like she was having a breakdown , i’ve been in there a few times before and the food has always been decent not the best but not the worst, but it was really the way she spoke to her staff ,really threw me off going again as i felt to say something because i wouldn’t like it if it was my daughter !!!!
