11.30am sitting Christmas Brunch. We were each offered a lovely proessco/bucks fizz on arrival! Orders were taken promptly and the brunch platter arrived within 20 mins. Unfortunately by 1.15pm our order was still yet to arrive. Our server was lovely and very apologetic but as our orders hadn't arrived 105 mins into our 120 minute sitting we decided to leave. Imagine our surprise to still receive a bill north of ÂŁ100. Parties who arrived after us received and finished their meals, while we waited and waited. Never one to argue over money, especially for food, probably more pride than anything else, I paid and we left. We won't return.

What an exceptional establishment. I ordered the club sandwich and a side of chips, my wife a bacon sandwich. All I can say is the food was beautiful, cooked and served very professionally. Excellent quality food, Excellent service, Very clean establishment, decorated delightfully. It's a hidden gem, if you want am amazing meal, served quickly and efficiently then eat your food in a very clean friendly business then the Deanery is the place is for you. I have eaten in many establishments around Tamworth but this one is head and shoulders above the competition. Well done guys, looking forward to my next visit and of course Christmas đđđ€đ€đ€

Had a Bacon and Mushroom Sandwich,it was one of the best I have had in ages .You had loads of Bacon and mushrooms ,it was absolutely gorgeous . Wasnât greasy either like some places can be . The coffee was also one of the best I have had in a long time . I written this review because I think it was best value for money and by far better than a lot of the expensive restaurants around. Thank you ladies

Very disappointing. We ordered hot dog and chips with crispy onions - no chips and no onions in the order. We also ordered a burger with cheese - no cheese. A shame really as we had heard good stories but if they can't get an order right then there is little to praise. What we had tasted good however

I've been here a few times, with my family. This time I dined alone. I had the buttermilk chicken burger, which was really nice. The service by the young ladies, Molly and Liv was super. They were very attentive and friendly, just what you want when you're out to eat. The lady who served the drinks, Amy was very friendly too, as I sat near the bar we were chatting as I was waiting for my food. Thanks for a great experience, I will certainly be back.

Well the people of Tamworth are lucky they can no longer dine here, but us hotel guests,in the middle of nowhere have little choice. A very limited menu has very poor choices.I had Haddock and chips. Here it is ÂŁ13.99.,no peas.At the Premier inn in Stoke it was ÂŁ12.99 with peas. You work that out. The battery was so hard at the end I couldn't eat it.I also had a vanilla ice cream. One of the poorest meals I can remember eating.See the photo.

We're frequent visitors here, when usually it's a decent place. Tonight however, was 1 flame thrower away from an apocalypse. Multiple families with unruly kids running round screaming, loud enough to pierce any conversation trying to be had by us and other families....a very weird atmosphere tonight. The service was a lot slower tonight too, we stood waiting with 2 other couples for 12 minutes at the front desk for someone to show us a table. The food came out but we were unfortunate enough to have been sat at a table where the cutlery had been taken before we arrived. Genuinely happy to have left tonight.
