Acogedor café en un antiguo vagón de ferrocarril en un hermoso paseo. Llevó a nuestro nieto en un paseo en bicicleta, la detuvo por una salchicha para él y tocino para nosotros. ¡Qué rico! Estaba fangoso pero no era un problema, está preparado para caminantes. El baño es una visita obligada, ya que hay ruidos de trenes y anuncios de plataformas en el interior. Preciosa vista del hipódromo también. Un montón de mesas exteriores para cuando hace buen tiempo. Perritos bienvenidos.

Another great visit. Food was very good and staff were very knowledgeable about the menu. Staff were very friendly and added to the dinner experience. We sat upstairs which was lovely, it's dark decor, would be nice for a dinner date. The room was quite hot though. The seating in the bar area is great for drinks with friends.

Great atmosphere and food was very good. 4 of us had 3 mains , a starter , 4 desserts & 2 bottles of wine Total price £178 . It was a table booked at 8pm on a Saturday night

Realmente quería un asado un jueves, vino y el asado del día era pavo, mi favorito. Estaba tan bueno vino con todos los adornos y mejores asados de la historia. incluso cerdos en mantas. Mi amigo tenía filete y pastel de cerveza que se veía fabuloso. El servicio de Jen era genial y se hizo sentir muy bienvenido. Gran comida casera en un gran pub. Recomiendo 100%

A beautiful restaurant where we were made to feel welcome on our early arrival taking drinks at the bar. Once at our table the staff were quick to come and take our order and offer more drinks. Our party of four for Sunday lunch were given bread and butter which was explained to us what type we had and this was very nice. We all choose the sharing starters which came out presented very fashionably but unfortunately the side plates that we requested, (the original ones from the bread had been removed) never arrived and it was difficult to cut and eat with two people over the platter. The mains arrived, one couple sharing the shoulder of lamb and the other having beef and chicken respectively. Personally i didn't think that beef and chicken should have not been on the same board due to cross contamination.The portions were very generous and were cooked to perfection, this could not be faulted and we were given 'doggy bags' for what was left of the huge lamb shoulder, (well enough for four people). The table was clearly not large enough for food and four people to sit at, this was evident as the staff moved everything to the centre of the table to make space and we had to request that empty dishes were removed to make more room.The plates were small and made the meal look squased once you had selected some of everything, including sides and Yorkshire pudding. The desserts were beautiful and presented with care and artistic intent, followed my coffee for all. We spent three and a half hours in the restaurant and were not rushed at all. The food was lovely and the chefs take care and attention in what the are serving for guests. The staff were kind and friendly but would have expected more from a two rosette establishments. We weren't offered for our coates to be taken which made it uncomfortable with them on the back of the chairs. One of the girls had an extremely short dress on, which when bending over, even though wearing tights was not a pleasant experience and quite unnecessary. Maybe something to bear in mind. Would we return, maybe. Like previously said, the food was wonderful, the ambience very nice and a lovely location, but you need to be aware of how overpriced some things were. Yes, we're are in a restaurant in Stratford, but did it need to be that expensive ...... a £40 bottle of wine with an average selling price of £14 ... £7 for a pint of Guinness and £14 for a basic cocktail. Finally the service charge of 12% which was £40 on the bill was rather excessive for the service received. Give it a go, but if you're on budget please take care with the surcharges, (not mentioned to us,) drinks prices and service charges.

A pesar de no poder navegar debido a la tormenta Daraugh todavía fuimos por nuestra comida. Tuvimos una comunicación brillante, informando que no navegaríamos y dando la opción de cancelar pero decidimos continuar... y gracias a Dios. Una deliciosa comida, cena de alta calidad, buenas porciones y personal muy amable y acogedor. Sin duda volvería y recomendaría encarecidamente ... la próxima vez que esperamos navegar!

We came to The Bell for an early Valentine’s Meal as my husband was away for the actual day. We had a fantastic meal in lovely surroundings. The staff could not have been more helpful. Food was amazing especially The Eton Mess. Would definitely return. Many thanks to Sam and Gareth.

Decidimos cenar en el toro anoche después de escuchar cosas muy buenas recientemente. Fuimos recibidos por el personal muy amable y nos sentamos muy rápido. pedimos algunas bebidas de una selección bastante extensa. Las bebidas eran excelentes, así que procedimos a pedir la cena. La comida llegó muy rápido y se veía increíble. Mi cerveza rebozada de bacalao estaba caliente fresca y exquisita lo mejor que he comido en años. Mi compañero pidió la hamburguesa definitiva y no se decepcionó en lo más mínimo. Hamburguesa fresca con latigazos de tocino crujientes de barbacoa tirada de cerdo y queso derretido todo envuelto en un bollo pretzel servido con col fresca y patatas fritas crujientes. Es un 10 de cada 10 de nosotros en servicio y comida. Mantén un ojo en El Toro mientras sube y viene y sube a la cima bien hecho!

Entré para el almuerzo del domingo, tenía dos entrantes solo dos rebanadas muy pequeñas de pan con el entrante de mi esposa, ella pidió un poco más de pan se le dijo que costaría un extra de £ 2. 50 La mesa de al lado los escuché quejándose de su comida del plato principal, lo que no me llenó de confianza. Nuestro plato fuerte llegó pero hacía frío de piedra, hablé con el gerente del restaurante para quejarme cuya respuesta fue “No es mi problema” No podía creer lo que había escuchado a lo que respondí “¿quién es la culpa entonces?” respondió con “No se me puede culpar” Le dije que solo quería la cuenta de los entrantes que había comido y las dos bebidas que tomamos £ 36. 98 Ni siquiera una disculpa del gerente Nunca volvería de nuevo a este establecimiento el servicio fue totalmente terrible y el gerente del restaurante grosero

Great food and brilliant service with a smile from Lucas. We were welcomed with a smile, table was cleaned for us and we were checked on throughout our meal

We came for pre-theatre dinner in March. We are vegetarians and chose The Vintner because there were decent - albeit not extensive - options for us. The wine and food was absolutely excellent. The mushroom stroganoff was the best I've had and the cheese souffle was ridiculously delicious. The food and wine was very reasonably priced for the quality. The environment is so lovely and relaxing and the staff were all helpful, warm, and friendly. When we next visit Stratford upon Avon, we will certainly be eating here. I couldn't this place recommend enough.
