Foi uma agradável surpresa conhecer o Marco Italian Delicatessen, seu proprietário e sua equipe, que nos atendeu muito bem. Estivemos 11 dias na cidade e 99% dos nossos almoços foram lá. Os pratos, as massas, sopas e cafés da manhã estavam muito bem preparados, saborosos e por isso, o elegemos como nosso restaurante! Uma pérola em Stratford. A Akiko sempre nos atendia com seu sorriso. Já estamos com saudades!

Best place in Stratford for coffee, breakfast, quick lunch or Italian deli supplies. Very reasonable prices and lovely staff. Only 5 minutes walk from the shops/RSC. My regular drop in place most weeks.

Called in for lunch, quite busy, limited menu, we ate the antipasto for 2, really tasty, well presented and large portions, only let down by dreadful tea and coffee which were not hot (we should have sent them back), lots of various cannolis (none priced or labelled). Food wise this was a lovely lunch and we will return.

We were so thrilled to find this place. We’re so sick of eating terrible food at high prices and this is amazing food at great prices. Seemed very authentic and unpretentious. We came with two children and having had a very average Greek meal the night before, this was a great way to make up for it. Would highly recommend.

Despite living in the area for many years we only discovered this hidden gem today thanks to a recommendation from a friend.Fabulous place, excellent value for money, fantastic quality of food,wine & coffee.Friendly lovely people, felt like we were in Italy.Can't wait to return!!

Superb range of cannoli! Delightful deli, very authentic. Excellent range of pasta and Italian ingredients. The gents toilet facility could have been cleaner.

We were looking for a light lunch and wandered around looking for a place like this. Such a lovely atmosphere with lots of jars, boxes and packets of Italian food to buy along with fresh cured meats, cheeses and cakes in the counter. We stopped for some antipasto, it was delicious, perfect for a lovely sunny day, and really good value! And we took ice cream to go which was equally as tasty.

We found this place by chance as we wandered around Stratford. The frontage attracted us, then the atmosphere as we went in. It's a friendly deli and cafe with regular customers coming to buy Italian delicacies or sto for a coffee. The cakes looked very enticing and my coffee and croissant were excellent. And very reasonable prices. We went back twice because it felt as though we had discovered a home in Stratford. Unpretentious and excellent.

Really nice food and a great coffee at a reasonable price, comfortable and friendly well worth a visit.

A little cafe / take away / delicatessen just off the Main Street, a quaint little place with delicious food! The meat ragu and the Italian sausage pizza were so good, and the cheese & onion baguette that my sister in law had, was plentiful and well presented. Will definitely return on our next visit.

Sunday night dining was very good. We shared an excellent shoulder of lamb which was perfectly cooked. Good pudding featuring chocolate. Helpful sommelier pointed us towards some very nice wine. An enjoyable evening.

Went for lunch here today with the kids and my dad. It's not much to look at from the outside but it was really good. The spaghetti bolognese was delicious and my son demolished his margarita pizza. We just about had room for some puddings (brownie, toffee flapjack and millionaire's shortbread) and they too were amazing. We will definitely be back.

As always we had an excellent lunch with family, staff and food always so good, tasty and very reasonably priced

Had a sandwich (freshly made from ingredients available at the deli counter) and a coffee here today. Both were excellent quality and value and the service was very efficient and friendly. Highly recommended- we’ll be back.

The Menu header on the wall reads, "Where we pride ourselves on our quality and prices". So they should! We had fond memories of a previous visit and now we have another visit to reminisce about. We chose to eat in but it also a great place for buying a picnic. Our meals were delightful and we were made to feel very welcome. The quality of the food and its preparation must be the best for miles around. Great value for money.

Hoy, con dos amigos, visitamos Marcos Italian Deli Stratford upon Avon, justo al lado de la principal calle turística, pero vale la pena visitarlo, uno de nuestros amigos lo ha visitado antes, así que con esa recomendación fuimos y disfrutamos de un almuerzo muy agradable y sabroso, recién preparado. Great selection of things you can’t find in your local supermarket... great cheeses and meats to make a great lunch

Siempre visitamos a Marcos cuando visitamos Stratford para obtener los auténticos productos italianos que se almacenan aquí. Nos alojamos recientemente en el hotel del que forma parte el restaurante. El personal fue excelente en ambos. Teníamos a un niño pequeño con nosotros y necesitábamos un cambio de horario en el último minuto y el personal estaba muy contento de ayudarnos, ya que el sábado por la noche no era tan fácil.

Este lugar es utilizado por el personal de la oficina local y comercio de la construcción y otras obras, pero ser rápido como los asados siempre acaban.

Really good authenic italian home cooked food. Prices cannot be beaten. This is value for money with great taste. Very attentive and friendly staff. Would definitely eat here again and will be recommending to friends. Deliciouse flapjacks and other goodies are available to buy.

40 seater bistro at rear of delicatessen which offers great value and friendly service. Roast of the day is only £5.00 and very generous baguettes only £3.95. Lunch for four including drinks for just over £20.00 and all this on the main tourist walking route in Stratford
