Incredible place please visit and support ! Lovely “ twinkly cafe” - visited in the Autumn . Has lots of cosy little nooks . I had the tomato and lentil soup with cheese scone - it was the best I’ve ever had! Staff friendly and a lovely ambiance. Visitors and locals were welcome .

Easy parking outside. 3 rooms seating inside plus outside at rear. Dog friendly. Good selection homemade lunches (salads, sandwiches, toasties, etc), flapjacks, brownies, muffins etc. Licensed for alcoholic drinks. We return many times. Excellent friendly service

I live between Evesham and Bidford. The independent coffee shop I use to frequent recently sold up and the new owners have tried to make it trendy, and therefore loosing the character itbhad. So after a couple of recommendations, I'm happy to say I've found a new coffee shop and bolthole to frequent. Good coffee and a good veggie selection on the hot food. Recommended

Myself and Pam (district nurse) have been to you many times now, and each time we are greeted with smiles, cheerful faces and politeness. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond. The cakes are absolutely incredible and the drinks are delicious. Thank you for always treating us with kindness and happiness

Been using this tea shop for several years and really enjoy their cakes and especially the egg and bacon bap....but now find it dissapointing. It's dog friendly..offering several doggie treats but now the tables are so close together it's a squeeze for people..never mind dogs!Today I was also dissapointed to find they are now charging £1 for an extra pot of hot water to go with my tea.

Bidford is very lucky to have this cafe. The food is great. The staff cant do enough for you. Ingrid was fantastic. Family of six in the area for breakfast and afternoon tea. Great sandwiches, cakes and gorgeous coffee. Dont change anything ladies, its brilliant what you do!! Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Has to be the best coffee and the best place to drink coffee in the Midlands.

Lovely little cafe, good options for coffee, cake or lunch. Cosy inside with small sheltered outdoor seating area too.

Stopped for tea and hot cross buns recently en route to a nearby wedding. A real gem of a find. Everything was just perfect about this slightly quirky cafe. Hope to visit again if we are ever in the area. Thank you.

Very good sandwich friendly staff

If theres a recipe for success, this cafe is it! We were staying at ‘The Old Workshop’ cottage across the road (another wonderful place) and called in for coffee and cake with our dog. The fact that on a January Monday morning it was almost full is testament to how popular this place is and it’s no wonder! A warm welcome, friendly and attentive staff, lovely coffee, great cakes, quirky and interesting interior made it a firm favourite for us. So much so that after meeting friends in the afternoon for a walk with our dogs, we all went back for more! If you’re in the area, this is the place to go.

My husband & I had breakfast here today. The place was very busy which was so lovely to see. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Hubby had the full breakfast & I had the ultimate breakfast bagel. So tasty it was fabulous. Pot of tea for two to round it off. Very good prices, great spot too. Definitely eat here if you get a chance. It's a long way from Bristol but we'll definitely come back.

We absolutely love our Village Cafe. We visit as often as we can each month. Atmostphere inside is always lovely, staff are friendly and helpful and the dog loves it there! We can’t walk past now without being pulled in and buying her one of their dog sausages. We just had their ultimate breakfast bagels to take away and my god it’s the best breakfast I’ve ever had 🤩

Great little cafe food is great and lovely staff

An excellent cafe, which provides delicious food and drinks in a charming ‘old world’ setting. All the staff were very pleasant and attentive. Our ‘bacon baps’ could not be faulted, well cooked bacon in fresh floury bap were accompanied by a coffee that was not bitter. The cafe has a number of rooms and a garden and was ‘buzzing’ with vitality. Well worth the visit!

Brilliant cafe, lovely coffee. Had vegan options for our grandson which he loved. Even doing take outs for people to pick up. Can't wait to visit again 👍🍰☕. Update...now live here in the village, i like to take friends here now, brilliant cafe, good range of food, vegan breakfast and brunch etc.

When the potato of the jacket potato is so tasty that it didn’t need the very tasty topping you know the food here is good. Cake to die for, and coffee as good as I’ve had. This is a bit far from home but I HAVE to come back and try the breakfast. But it will have to be ordered with a lemonade and biscoff brownie.

This is a lovely cafe in Bidford, the staff are so helpful and nice. Food and drink is fantastic and dog friendly too.

We’ve been here a few times previously, either as part of a cycling group or to meet friends and it’s alway been lovely. I’d defy anyone not to find something they like on the menu with a wide range of choice, really friendly staff, lots of seating and great coffee. I had the cooked breakfast for the first time today, and as a cyclist who has visited many cafes, this was the best by far. Great quality ingredients, cooked to perfection and not greasy at all (as so many are), how they get a crispy bottom to the fried egg without a trace of oil on the plate is beyond me. Oh, and the cakes are also amazing. Nothing not to like here and definitely No1 on the cafe recommendations.

When travelling for business it’s always tempting to use the ubiquitous chains for convenience. So pleased I made the effort to find The Village Cafe on my route. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly and nice food. Set me up for my business meeting nearby.

The cafe is nice and the food choices good. The veggie sausages were delicious. Everything was beautifully cooked and piping hot. We will definitely return.

Awash very lovely food and amazing cakes. It’s new location across the road is also really lovely inside. Only thing I think they could improve on is takeaways. You’re asked to stand awkwardly at the door or outside, which was understandable over Covid but now comes across as a little unwelcoming. I understand it’s because they want to save the seats for dine-in customers but a compromise somewhere would be appreciated for those who do the take out regularly (sitting in the freezing cold for 30min waiting isn’t particularly fun).

Great little cafe, really nice coffee and was surprised to see plenty of vegan options including yummy pistachio tiffin and various sandwiches/toasties.

After a muddy walk we thought we would try The Village Cafe having had disappointing catering encounters in Bidford on previous occasions. The ladies were very welcoming to us and our dogs. Many "pet friendly" establishments seem to just about tolerate dogs so it was nice to receive a warm welcome. We had to wait for a table and I can see why. The food was delicious and lots of tasty choices and a refreshing change to see something other than the usual ham and cheese toastie fillings! Good selection of yummy cakes. Prices very reasonable too. We will be back for sure.

They served me something I requested, not on the menu, a toasted sandwich filled with mashed avocado which was delicious, served with lettuce & crisps.

We stopped by for coffee during lockdown whilst service was take away only. Social distancing was clearly being followed, staff were friendly and the service was quick. Our coffees were delivered outside to us with a smile leaking from under the face mask

I ordered an afternoon tea for relatives who live in Bidford. Ingrid was extremely helpful and went over and above to help me to organise a surprise as I live out of the area. Very reasonably priced and lovely presentation. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Ingrid and her staff are always friendly and welcoming, the food and drink are delicious with a good selection. A great asset to the village, I would particularly recommend the home made soup at this chilly time of year!
