Great experience, relaxing atmosphere. food was scrumptious, especially the Burger and the chunky chips. Waiting times was decent. Definitely recommend go again.

We visited several times whilst on our honeymoon a couple of years ago so when in Stratford this weekend wanted to have a drink and reminisce. We’d just returned from completing our house sale in Scotland and as such had some Scottish money with us. The girl behind the bar refused to take it and also had the temerity to suggest it was forged. My Scottish wife was deeply offended and wanted to leave so we did. This has left a sour taste in a town we love to visit so won’t be returning. I would suggest some staff training in taking perfectly legal tender might be in order.

Food is delicious and for good price. The staff are always friendly, one of my favourite pubs in Stratford, my mum and I love to eat here

A nice place with a warm welcome. You go to the bar to order your food. The service was good and the food arrived in good time and overall it was very tasty. We did have an issue with one of our meals, but the staff were great and sorted it without issue and we also got a refund for that particular meal. There is a good choice of food and there is a car park just a few feet away with limited spaces. I'm not absolutely certain, but I think it is free after 6pm, but you had better check that for yourselves as I have a Blue Badge.

Average food at best but very slow service. The steak on the mix grill was over cooked and there was no parmesan cheese on the caesar salad. Other meals in our group looked OK. The biggest grouse I have is to see a dog sat on a table... not the pubs fault but a hygiene issue as the table was not cleaned before the next customers sat down.

Came in for a lunch decided on a “big club” which describes itself on the menu as deep fill yet when it came to the table it was on sliced bread and not bloomer as per menu and chicken was a burger not like a breast,one bit of streaky bacon and we did expect a club to be three levels of bread but no, this was definitely not as described on the menu. we can only presume the real chef was off and this was knocked up by whomever was covering. This can’t be the norm for £10.95 it’s not what anyone would expect.

Having read the glowing reviews before going I was counting down till we could feast on this gastronomic delight that was awaiting us, imagine our disappointment to find it was no different to the average pub fare, certainly nothing to rave about. The price we paid was just under £40 for two drinks and two meals. The following day we called in Wetherspoons and had similar meals there that was not only on par with the Coach house but I would say slightly better, in Wetherspoons the meals and the same drinks came to just over £23 in total, neither meals in either pub would win a michelin star but Wetherspoons are not pretentious I was just amazed at the price difference. It's a shame really as the Coach house itself is very nice and well laid out.

We found this place via google on a recent trip to Stratford. It was really good service and really nice food. Menu was varied enough to cater for all. Everyone enjoyed their food.

Definitely my go to visit for Stratford pubs. The outside always looks immaculate and beautifully decorated, the manager (Linzi) who I have come to know since visiting in the last two years works extremely hard to ensure the customers expectations are met and the staff are friendly and polite. In addition whenever I visit, it’s always busy which is a sign of a good pub. So if you’re visiting Straftord, I would definitely recommend a visit, always a nice mixture of entertainment on every weekend too, the food is delicious and the inside and toilet areas are always clean. It’s 5***** from me 💕

Been here a number of times for lunch, dinner and just for drinks. The food and service was fab. Everyone was so friendly and the customers were all of a different age group mingling in together. Excellent Sunday lunch. Generous portions and good quality meat and vegetables. Not over or under cooked. Very pleasant and efficient staff. Quick service which we appreciated as we had young children with us.

First class experience. Visited today as a party of 8. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. Most of us had the roast dinner which was cooked to perfection. I’m a bit of a picky person and normally find some faults ( often minor) but I couldn’t fault the food or the staff. They bent over backwards to accommodate us. I’m very grateful for their professionalism. And the atmosphere is as lovely. Highly recommended

Well I’m here again, what can I say besides my previous comments. A new expansion of the menu since my last visit has blown my mind the chefs really know what they are doing in this little gem of a place. I really don’t know how they do it!!! Awards galore. I did have a question about a few items on the menu and was taken aback as the head chef came and spoke to me he was wonderful thank you for making this visit extra special Chef Trev!

Well where can I start . A warm welcome when we arrived early . But that is where the good comments end . Ordered main courses which I could only say frozen food at its best . 2 Guinness stews ,cubes of meat in each you knew this had been frozen and reheated . Veg lasagne ...defiantly pre frozen and microwaved as girl said plates were hot . Ordered bacon steak with mustard mash but gammon steak and chips arrived . And I had steak and fried onion ciabatta .. arrived 3 smallest slices of meat covered in rocket salad . No fried onions to be seen went away and brought back some onion chutney ????..she did come back with some deep fried onions in the end . Now the disaster for pudding s Sweet menu consisted of lemon meringue pie..soldout .. selection of ice cream ... Reese peanut butter cake .. or churro s with chocolate sauce ..this is where I found out where my onions were cooked . The churros tasted of onions .. the waitress came across and said no they wasn't but in the end found out they was ... yukkkk I'm glad I didn't pay for them .. avoid with a passion sounds like this wasn't the normal cook ? Who gave the awards out in 2022 and 2023 to the coachhouse ? I do not know how .....or was I unlucky with a cook that hasn't a clue !!!!!! £92 bill for frozen food ..and cross contamination food ..

Amazing food! we started off with the pork belly bites which were to die for and the steak for dinner which was cooked to perfection. The staff were very attentive and super friendly and it was lovely to see them interact with the kids too. I went back later on in the evening to enjoy the live music which they have on every Friday and Saturday night from 9pm. I will definitely be coming back!

Called in for lunch, friendly feel to the pub, limited menu, we ate BLT (oddly the chicken was deep fried!) and fish goujons which were just ok, huge portions with v tasty chips, we thought more quantity over quality. Drank v good flight of Davenports beer. Might try again.

The lady who served us was nice and the mocktails were nice, hence the 1* would be 0* otherwise. The food was truly awful. The pork belly bites were like leather with an unbreakable crust on top. The fat in the middle should have been gooey but was like hard rubber. Deviled eggs should be hard boiled with solid yolks, the yolks whipped with mustard or curry spices and put back into the whites. Google a pic of unfamiliar. I have attached a pic of what we were served. Not even the whites were firm or even cooked, nevermind the yolks! Absolutely gross. Never again.

Booked in for lunch for four diners on a Saturday. Glad we booked as it was busy and most tables were occupied or reserved. The Coach House is a lovely old pub with original features but cosy contemporary decor. This pub is doing everything right. A great menu full of pub grub classics, a great range of ales and ciders. Aspall cider on draught… yippee! The staff were welcoming and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was scrummy and reasonably priced. The ladies loos were immaculate which is always the sign of a good pub! This is not a poncey gastro pub, it’s just a great pub with good food and drink in a lovely cosy setting. We will back!

What a lovely pub , called in for lunch , light bites menu appealed 12-4pm Mon-Fri with 1 course @ £7.95 2 @ £10.95 3 @ £13.95 I opted for the prawn cocktail which was really nice , my wife had the mushrooms, again delicious. Went here for lunch, food was amazing and good price. We had a couple of drinks here and the bar staff were lovely, made our day enjoyable. The pub had amazing decor, gave a very modern pub vibe without forgetting its roots. Would recommend to anyone visiting Stratford.

had a wonderful lunch we had booked on OpenTable's app but when we got there there was not booking despite me having a reference, but this was despite being fully booked not a problem! the lovely lady behind the bar found us a table. The food was excellent! i had the gammon roast and my partner had the beef roast, the only thing was no cranberry sauce available, I have ben here a few times and can honestly say its the best roast in Stratford upon Avon for me.

Best staff and ambiance I’ve seen for a long time. Every member of staff is professional but you can also see they love their work. This is so lovely to see, happy smiley faces enjoying their colleagues at work. Food is great and tasty and served with a smile. The choice of wines which is important to me is perfect.
