My girlfriend and I visited the cider barn on the 24th November and couldn’t have been more impressed. She called and booked a table on the day, explaining she was a vegetarian and didn’t like cheese. They booked us in for lunch and upon arrival, we were greeted with a complimentary glass of apple juice / cider. My partner’s menu had been altered and printed off, specifically for her, the food was exceptional (by far the best Sunday dinner I have ever had, by a mile) and the waitress staff were so delightful, friendly and always wore a smile. Words cannot express how unbelievably welcoming and great this place is. What an amazing hidden gem Herefordshire has. Thank you to the chef and to the staff! I’ve already spread the word and we will be back soon!

We cycled over 10 miles to visit this entity which apparently has not been a tea room for over 3 years. It is still showing on the Herefordshire publicity material and cycle guides as a tea room. The photographs on Trip Advisor are also very misleading. There are currently no tea rooms in Pembridge.

The food once again was spot on and there was a lovely atmosphere in the full restaurant. All the staff, from the young lady who greeted us to the serving staff were friendly and attentive. The only down point of the evening was the length of time we had to wait before being served our starters and then mains. Even when we asked to pay the bill, we had to wait a long time before the card machine was brought to us. Whether this was due to being full...? However, this has not dampened our overall thoughts and we will definitely return.

The Hickory stick restaurant is my wife and I favourite spot for lunch. Lovely food and friendly service. As a family run business we are always met with smiles. With the groves own lamb and homemade apple juice a must to try! I often play golf here and after every round we always enjoy a coffee by the fire place.

A most spectacular place, farmhouse, accommodation, pub and restaurant. Nice selection of daily specials on the menu, fresh, home cooked, good portions and tasty. Friendly staff, wonderful barn renovated as restaurant. Roaring fire and Tesla charging station too!

Very poor. Seasonal pasty very ordinary. Overpriced. Chips far too salty. But the service from the male kid serving was atrocious, surly, disinterested. Not welcomed at all. Used many times in the distant past, hoped be good after reopening. No. It’s hard enough surviving in this business but need to make people welcome all the time. I own two restaurants. Then to have 10% service added “which you can take off if you want” yes I did want. 1st time ever!

Superb food. We had the whitebat and paté to start and the home made pies with extra veg for main. It was well cooked and very polite service. No squiggles on the plates and no pretentious offerings with french descriptions on the menu. We have used the New Inn many times and will certainly continue going there!

We had coffee and cake here after a busy tour of the black and white villages. The homemade scone was delicious as was the aubergine and courgette cake! Coffee was good too! A lovely olde worlde building now a tea room/ restaurant that once was a pub. Definitely a place to go when in the village.
