Had Sunday lunch here and it was absolutely fantastic. The roast Pork was beautifully cooked, and the crackling was exceptional. The landlord is a real gent, and a pleasure to chat with. Very attentive staff. Looking forward to dining here again!

Haven't been for a couple of years but remembered having a good meal. Unfortunately, we were disappointed this time round. I love sea food and chose the mixed platter but it was so poorly cooked that I ended up just eating the chips, and these weren't exactly moreish. The whitebait had been so over baked that it was like concrete and the cod bites consisted of batter and not much else. Another diner who had chosen fish and chips, complained about the excessive batter too, with not much fish inside. No pies available so the others in the party had cottage pie. We didn’t stop for desserts as we were virtually the only diners there so you win some, you lose some.

I've been many times and will continue to visit. A great pub at anytime of the year that the whole family including the four legged family members can enjoy. A warm welcome along with the fire in colder months adds to a great atmosphere that's also felt from the staff. I'd recommend to residents of Malvern and people visiting.

Natalie & Charncey were very helpful in helping arrange Mum’s wake. It was an ideal location, with lovely views over the Herefordshire countryside to Wales. The buffet was well laid out with lots of space. It has been redecorated which makes it an inviting & comfortable café.

We had a one night stay, but arrived early and had lunch before climbing the Herefordshire Beacon , via British Camp. The hotel is directly opposite the start of the walk, which means the location is perfect. We found the public areas of the hotel immaculately presented and very tastefully decorated. Staff were welcoming and clearly take a pride in there work. Our room was fine, with more dated decor than the restaurant and bar area, but it was comfortable and well furnished, although we found the bathroom lighting too bright for our taste. The menus for all meals were excellent, and food was well prepared, tasty and plentiful. Service was timely and the table staff all personable and efficient. We liked our stay and are happy to recommend and return if visiting the area in the future.

Firstly very disappointed that no Christmas carvery was available this year - which was actually the reason we chose to go here. To be fair the Christmas Pie and Sausage and Mash were lovely, but was disappointed with the decorations, the front of the cafe makes it look as if it is closed. Something needs to be done about the welcoming atmosphere of the cafe and although the member of staff who served us, a young gentleman, was very pleasant, other members of the cafe staff looked unhappy and overworked. There was no hot food on display and it all looked a bit like it was about to close down. Today - couldn't fault the food although very pricey. I hope this cafe becomes more welcoming and inviting as it could be a lovely place to eat.
