We spotted the sign for this on the drive through, so after visiting the castle, walked back to find it. So glad we did. We had the platter to share, not a single thing could be faulted. Service was excellent. We loved the look of the cakes but were just so full, so purchased 2 to take home for later that day. Really sad I forgot to leave a tip, too busy chatting to the staff & looking around so much to see, even a gin distillery. We will be back.

What a fabulous meal! We have always loved the warm and friendly atmosphere of the Lion, but now they are doing excellent food it is even better! Seabass was amazing!

Lovely old pub but lunch was a bit of a mixed bag. Sardine starter was a bit dry but the bread was excellent. I enjoyed my meal of well cooked roast belly pork but my partner's Chicken pie was straight out of a supermarket aluminium tin and he was very disappointed.

Nothing is too much trouble at this lovely little eating establishment in historic Dunster. Had their famous Platter to Share - although it's no longer officially on the menu - as the kitchen was happy to make it up for us. Ate in the delightful sunny garden - service was quick, friendly and efficient, just as we have always found it. Recommended to all as the best place for lunch in Dunster.

Have just been to Psalters for Sunday lunch to celebrate a friends birthday. The menu had some very interesting items on it but we opted for the roast beef. Veg were served separately and were perfectly cooked.Great value at £28 for 2 courses. The staff were so helpful and attentive. I am coeliac but almost everything had a GF option. We sat in an inner courtyard for coffee afterwards which was lovely. Very interesting old pub I would highly recommend.
