Great new owners, NOTE telephone number on trip advisor is for the old owner so please don’t call it.. Shop is based conveniently in the car park with easy access. Serving hot and cold snacks drinks and must have beach essentials. Enjoy a stroll down to the town or a stroll to the beach, great location for exploring the local area.

Nestled among the kiosks, restaurants and pubs this little gem is a must for ice cream lovers. Selling some of the nicest ice cream I have had - Marshfield Farm. I opted for a waffle cone with 2 scoops, mint choc chip and honeycomb. I even shared it with my husband who loves mint choc chip! Well worth a visit, just be wary of the seagulls!

We have been to Millside a number of times and had wonderful experiences over a number of years . It may have changed ownership but remains by far the best restaurant (in my opinion) in Lyme Regis. The food as always was great, with a varied and wide menu, the ambience very pleasant and the friendly and personal service delightful. There is nothing not to like about it, but don't take my word for it, go there and see for yourself.

I visited today on my own with my three children, the staff were so lovely and accommodating and the food was delicious and good value. We were made to feel really welcome. The lady that served us was lovely. Kids portions are really generous. We will definitely visit again.

Booked for a dinner during half term only a couple of hours in advance for dinner for my family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teenagers). Welcome was efficient and friendly, menu was good, service was prompt. A nice vibe. As for food - £9 for one piece of focaccia and a few olives and some olive oil from the nibbles section was scandalously overpriced and underwhelming (and literally left me slightly pissed off about the entire experience). £6 for the mac and cheese bites, by contrast, was sort of ok. Main dishes were fine. Fish and chips were good. Seafood linguine also good, if quite spicy. Dressed crab was good. Chicken and ribs was mixed. Ribs were nice but the chicken was a dry, very overcooked and very small little piece of chicken breast. Overall a decent enough experience but a couple of misfires.

Lovingly handmade baguettes/sandwiches, made to order, great range of fillings, including vegetarian options, tasty coffee, quirky wooden spoon numbered collection service, blankets outside to sit on, prices very reasonable compared to the extortionate menu at the nearby ‘Swim’ cafe. Highly recommended.

Stayed in Room 15 with a panoramic sea view from the bay window. We definitely enjoyed our stay in Alexandra Hotel. The only drawback was the slightly cramped en-suite with a small shower/bath. Nevertheless we would happily go back! Thank you!

after a wind blown swim in the sea we decided we wanted some comforting food and hot drinks - initially sat right on the front of the patio and the lady in charge was there in a mo with menus and a brush to wipe sand off the table top - we decided it was still to windy there, so moved back against cafe wall. Orders quickly taken - food wasn't fast, but my golly when it came it was fresh and delicious - from bacon sandwiches to american pancakes and bacon - all piping hot and full of flavour.
