Visiting past and this place was the first place we saw. Great start to our visit. Excellent tea (as in it’s not just hot brown swill) and hearty English breakfast. All delicious. Owner welcoming and friendly and staff efficient. The German couple next to us have coffee and cake and said that was good too.

A small hidden Cafe hidden down a side alleyway, delivers a big smile through it's food and warm welcoming hosts. They make delicious salads, homemade crustless quiche, large saucer style macaroons, homemade sausage rolls and vege rolls. It's the only place in Dorchester that i feel the food is good for you, cooked on the spot there that day, great coffee and choice of tea's etc. Seating is limited and very sadly due to it's size of premises maybe closed due to Covid, please double check. They have worked so hard and deserve all our support

Cafe was very quiet, only one table occupied by one couple. Of the two staff at the counter, the elder lady was busy chatting to a friend whilst I waited. The younger lady spoke to me between them until they moved to another part of the counter. The younger lady was very polite and helpful. Unfortunately the coffee was rather bitter and the tea cake was quite burned. The cafe is clean and tidy but nonetheless disappointing

Excellent food and a varied menu. Breakfast is good because you choose your cooked breakfast items so you can have it as big or small as you choose. The Bubble & Squeak and the pies are delicious. They have interesting specials that change regularly and are seasonal. There's no atmosphere but it's clean and the staff are very friendly. It's our favourite place for food in Dorchester.

First class service , all staff were very friendly .we were greeted by a man who was very warm and welcoming . We talked about football and had a laugh . Food was fantastic, I had a full English and the ingredients were top notch quality. My sister had a salmon salad sandwich , she enjoyed very much . The bill was very reasonable also considering the quality on offer . I will definitely be visiting again when in the area . Overall it is a fantastic spot .

We visited the area and went to look for a place for lunch. We opted for a chicken burger and a mixed grill. The food was really bad, overcooked and verging on inedible. My burger was so overcooked it was grey In the middle. My partner had a well done steak bone dry chicken and the dryest sausage he's ever had. For such a busy area this pub could be a real asset but not with the food coming out like that. No wonder the restaurant side was so quiet even though there was a football match on. Such a shame

I normally come here for biscuit decorating in the school holidays which is a free thing and ran by a lovely lady and my daughter loves ! Done inside so it’s easy to get a coffee and some lunch while my daughters entertained with her friends. It was really unfortunate to come today and find it had been moved outside … although sunny the weather isn’t warm and unable to get a coffee . The lady did a fantastic job with the kids as always offering a lovely holiday activity for free! It’s just such a shame to have been moved outside which I can only presume was decided by managers … the area was in the shade in a car park where cars are parking during the activity … uneven grounding where a child fell on the drain, and unable to get some lunch and supervise my daughter which normally makes it so much better. However again the biscuit decorating is a wonderful activity for the hoils which could bring the buisness extra cliental from frazzled parents
