Lovely warm atmosphere and good food served by a cheerful but busy waitress, on a very cold and windy shopping day in Dorchester, with friends from out of town.

Popped in for lunch. You order at the counter and collect drinks and cold food whilst hot food is brought to your table when cooked. We had jacket potato and all day breakfast and both were delicious. Efficient and friendly service.

I came here on my neighbours suggestion when we were looking for a coffee whilst visiting Dorchester following a trip to the Dentist. The coffee was very nice and the cafe exceptionally clean, bright and airy. Staff very polite and efficient. I’ll definitely visit again in the future.

Lovely setting inside a store on the first floor. Staff very pleasant, but only one serving. There was a queue and I had to wait about 10 minutes to get served. They should set up a system to call additional staff at peak periods. All customers want is quality goods and god service.

We visited the cafe just before christmas so was quite busy with shoppers. Although busy service was quick and efficient. We had coffee and cakes our usual order and would recommend. We have also used on several occasions the other Goulds outlet on the ground floor in their household department. Here have had baked potatoes, and a savoury crepe, very yummy

I do like decent and common sense service. This is a lovely place for morning coffee and light lunches and Cream Teas. I'll have to share my visits here with the Oak Tea Room now I've tried there. We had, until this week never missed a visit to Café 11 on our many visits to Dorchester throughout the summer months. The food is always good quality and good value. One of the few useful places you can get a £1 refund on your parking ticket. We normally spend just over £10, so we qualify. I don't think you get the refund at The Oak Room. This does slightly sway me towards Café 11.

This has to be on your list to try good value food from jacket potatoes through to cream teas. As a coeliac I am always concerned about cross contamination but this cafe, as are their other two, is really aware of the problems with gluten free food. They carry a wide range of GF food both cold and hot so you will not be disappointed neither will non coeliacs. Friendly staff and a good range of clothes and perfumes as you walk through. The restaurant is upstairs but the shop has a lift so there is no problem if you are disabled.

Lovely calm cafe which is on the first floor of Gould'S. This is a light and airy cafe, well set out and nice and clean. Lovely staff and the food is local and very nice.

fresh food made onsite. Nothing spectacular, just a cafe in department store, but always a welcome and smile from staff. Food always fresh and apertising. Offers nice salads and snacks not cooked in deep fat. So concious of need for good food. And having a loyalty card, gain points. Not the cheapest of places considering competition in town, but do offer that 'better, choice of food.

On the first floor of Goulds department Store in South Street is Cafe 11. There's also an entrabce from the car park with stairs straight up to the cafe. Good selection of cakes , sandwiches pasties rolls etc. Clean environment and pleasant service at affordable prices. Great for a cheap lunch in between shopping. Not much of a view over looking the car park but good value for money.

after a wind blown swim in the sea we decided we wanted some comforting food and hot drinks - initially sat right on the front of the patio and the lady in charge was there in a mo with menus and a brush to wipe sand off the table top - we decided it was still to windy there, so moved back against cafe wall. Orders quickly taken - food wasn't fast, but my golly when it came it was fresh and delicious - from bacon sandwiches to american pancakes and bacon - all piping hot and full of flavour.

Ate here Friday evening three of us had wood fired pizzas which were delicious, pleasant staff as always. On the Saturday two of us visited for lunch. We had crab sandwiches with a mixed leaf salad, they were tasty enough but £11 seems too much...

We were camping just down the road this past weekend and decided to have a browse - I'm glad we did as there was much more to this farm shop than I was expecting. Lots of different produce and gifts type things all quite nicely set out. Some things were sensibly priced considering you do expect to pay a slight premium at a farm shop (postcards 50p, fresh scones £1, clotted cream £1.99), but some of the prices were a little shocking - there were loaves of fresh bread at £4.50 and I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the price of ice cream being served at the side of the car park! Overall a worthwhile trip - the scones were delicious, good selection of ciders and got some lovely warm slipper socks. I'd recommend popping in if you're passing (the views are fantastic too) just don't expect any bargains.

We had a great dinner at the Arts Club. The food was wonderful, the staff were excellent and, being a lovely summer evening, we dined outside in the pretty and surprisingly quiet courtyard.

Lovely hotel and friendly helpful staff. Pricey at £350 B&B with very average rooms but good breakfast, although service very slow. Sadly not accessible for those with mobility disorders as no lift, steep stairs and few accessible bathrooms However, marvellous for lunch or dinner on a day out
