What a fantastic place. We had lunch today from a 2 or 3 course menu. A lovely variety on the menu, it was so hard to decide what to have. Each dish was a flavour bomb, looked amazing and the whole experience was superb. Lee and staff have a gem of a bistro. Will definitely come again.

No fuss, easy and attractive venue. Good for relaxed lunch or simple night out.

Called in for a quick drink. No-one at the bar initially, the told they didn't have any beer, only lager at the moment. Comfortable bar area.

Soup was from a tin and bread was stale. And expensive for this quality.

What a wonderful find, was looking for a roast and saw the sign outside. Debbie gave us and anyone who came in a very warm welcome. There regular customers there, everyone friendly we all chatted. The roast was delicious, would highly recommend when you are in the area. I will definitely go back. Nik and Julie

Had Coffee and Pain au Raisin, The Pain au Raisin was not very fresh , they had wasps landing on the cakes , all very unhygienic. The Coffee I ordered was made incorrectly and a poor blend.

A small hidden Cafe hidden down a side alleyway, delivers a big smile through it's food and warm welcoming hosts. They make delicious salads, homemade crustless quiche, large saucer style macaroons, homemade sausage rolls and vege rolls. It's the only place in Dorchester that i feel the food is good for you, cooked on the spot there that day, great coffee and choice of tea's etc. Seating is limited and very sadly due to it's size of premises maybe closed due to Covid, please double check. They have worked so hard and deserve all our support

Cafe was very quiet, only one table occupied by one couple. Of the two staff at the counter, the elder lady was busy chatting to a friend whilst I waited. The younger lady spoke to me between them until they moved to another part of the counter. The younger lady was very polite and helpful. Unfortunately the coffee was rather bitter and the tea cake was quite burned. The cafe is clean and tidy but nonetheless disappointing

The best cake I have ever eaten - toffee apple cake, warm with clotted cream. Huge selection of cakes too. Excellent latte. Hosts are brilliant.

Really good beers, if a little expensive. The food is pretty good too. Update: popped in for a couple of happy hour drinks, which, along with the provided board games, made for a nice way to spend an hour or two of an afternoon

We visited the area and went to look for a place for lunch. We opted for a chicken burger and a mixed grill. The food was really bad, overcooked and verging on inedible. My burger was so overcooked it was grey In the middle. My partner had a well done steak bone dry chicken and the dryest sausage he's ever had. For such a busy area this pub could be a real asset but not with the food coming out like that. No wonder the restaurant side was so quiet even though there was a football match on. Such a shame

The coffee was great but the almond cake I ordered so very underwhelming. It tasted almost watery. The atmosphere was lacking also. The place was full but it felt cold and uncomfortable.

The Garden Centre is quite lovely but the café is disappointing in a number of ways: the coffee is disappointingly flavourless and I would say not of good quality especially considering the Americano has no crema top? When I queried this they didn’t even understand what I was talking about. The staff are cold, unwelcoming and uninterested. When you meet with friends or family it’s to chat and socialise, so I am confused as to why there is a radio blasting in the background? Come on guys you are in the hospitality industry… Surely a smile, a friendly chat and a helpful gesture is not too much to ask? Very, very disappointing service.
