I only visit Blues 2-3 times a year and it is always fantastic , had breakfast there today and again it was perfect , I had a " mega" breakfast with an extra egg and an order of black pudding and it was amazing 👏 😋😋. Service was great , very good staff and service was quick . Would highly recommend to anyone .

We've eaten here many times over the years but it sadly went downhill so we haven't visited in some time. Noticed that it had been taken over earlier this year and reviews looked great so we went on Saturday for my husband's birthday. So glad we did! The refurb is lovely - seating is much more spaced out than previously. Team were all super friendly and efficient - lots of smiles and conversation if you wanted it - just how we like it. It was a very busy Saturday night and they looked full. Service as the evening went on slowed up a little but not drastically so and it didn't detract from our lovely evening. Food was exceptional! We had the crispy olives to nibble on, the trout for mains (please keep this on the menu it was amazing) and vanilla creme choux pastry and roast pineapple for dessert. It was all stunning! We only live a few miles away and are so glad to have a top notch eatery on our doorstep! Already re-booked to go with family for lunch in a few weeks time so fingers crossed we'll have the same wonderful experience! Top marks to the chef!!

Very strange menu nothing really to my liking and nothing for children either so it’s not somewhere to go with family…… ok ale but the menu needs to be bigger & nothing for a vegetarian my wife has recently become vegetarian for health reasons so we couldn’t eat here & don’t think we will return

I've never experienced such bad service, when I arrived the pub was half full, I had to wait 30 minutes for my drinks to arrive at my table, I ordered my food at 7.40pm i was to there's an hour wait..that hour came and went still no food, I asked how much long yo be told another 30 minutes, people who arrived after me were getting there food, I was still waiting...that 30 minutes came and went I asked again they said its not ready yet, I've now been here for 1 hour and 45 minutes and only received 1 drink, I decided to get a refund and leave. I appreciate a busy pub, but I've been here several times under the old management qhen it's much busier and been served much quicker, terrible service and i wont be going there again .

Brilliant Sunday lunch. We enjoyed a delicious Sunday roast where we were served by Maria who was really friendly and profesional. Thank you for great food and amazing service 👌🏽

Excellent meal with family staff very friendly and helpful I had the Tikka masala which was very tasty kids also catered for and the desserts well presented and liked by all those that had some and prices not unreasonable

Gave a 2 because the waitress was lovely. Food terrible. Items missing, cold food, congealed cauliflower cheese and overcooked potatoes. Would not return! Did complain but fell on deaf ears.

The service from the waitress who was on was incredible she was so attentive. The food was amazing I had the Rudi's burger and it was brilliant. I would definitely be recommending this restaurant to friends and family 👍
