Aksheya was quick with service and very friendly. Brilliant experience in Hilton overall and pet friendly. Will return again in for Christmas.

Food was excellent. You can see your food being cooked in a CLEAN kitchen. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be coming back again.

We returned after dinning here before and enjoying a good experience. This time our already high expectations were exceeded even more. Choice and quality of food excellent and staff simply amazing looked after us including our 4 year old really well. Very friendly which starts from the top in new manager Jason and clearly inspires the rest of the team to be the same. We find staying at the Hilton to be comfortable and relaxing but what sets the hotel apart from others for us is the excellent 14Twelve restaurant which will ensure we keep returning. We would also not hesitate to dine here even if we weren’t staying in the hotel.

Burnt Pizza with pesto from the supermarket (certainly not self-made!), very salty, slow service. First and certainly my last time in this restaurant in the Hilton Hotel. Not recommended!

Having booked a table for 5 people at 7pm on a Friday evening we arrived to find that our table was in a passageway just outside the entrance to the restaurant, On querying why we were not in the restaurant we were told by a rather harassed member of staff that a big party was in there. Consequently there was a steady flow of diners passing our table throughout the meal, not what we had expected or wanted. There didn't seem to be a great deal of staff and so service was slow, however when the food arrived it was delicious and piping hot ,although we were told the steak and scallops were unavailable and the soup was Cream of mushroom but when it arrived was Tomato. We sat out on the terrace after our meal as two more people arrived and ordered drinks which took 20 minutes to arrive as they "were very busy" although the bar was empty. However the waiting staff who served us were very pleasant and the cost of the meal reasonable

Myself and my family visited the Doubletree by Hilton,swindon and had a brilliant meal outside following COVID rules. The hotel was very impressive with the measures they have now taken with plenty of hand sanitisers over the hotel and everyone was wearing face masks when moving around indoors so we felt very safe. The table we sat at outside was at a safe distance from the other guests that was dining out, very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Iwona served us and was brilliant and attentive-thank you ! The food was delicious and was served quickly too. We couldn’t of asked for better. We will without a doubt be back again real soo. .

I arrived at 9pm on a Friday after a disappointing attempt to eat nearby, previous review explains everything. The greeting was suspicious, late, not a hotel guest, but I was shown a table immediately. In fact I felt embarrassed so quickly ordered a simple dinner. It became clear I was the last diner and that the restaurant was about to close. The food arrived promptly and was very tasty. The fact my order was incomplete didn't matter I was so appreciative that I had been courteously welcomed despite the hour. Inexpensive menu good selection of dishes. I wish I'd come earlier. Will definitely come back. Thank you to the team, good job.

Reasonable standard of food well presented. Boring menu and wine list but made up for to a degree by good service. It is located well for travellers but away from the main area of eateries in Swindon otherwise would have probably ate elsewhere

This is the restaurant in the Doubletree Hilton Hotel just outside Swindon Town. We were staying at the hotel and decided to eat here - it was really very good. The restaurant is spacious and well decorated. The staff are pleasant, attentive and helpful. Service is efficient but not hurried. There's an a la carte menu and a table d'hote menu with a two or three course fixed price option. The food was very nice and well presented - we had a starter and main course each from the a la carte which we thoroughly enjoyed, and at a reasonable price too. Very pleased.

Had lunch here while waiting to check in- ordered a flatbread sandwich with skin on fries, got it with crisps instead. Not quite sure why. Was a good lunch, though the price without the fries made it a bit expensive.

Food was generally delicious but let down by bent cutlery and manky lettuce. Service was a little slow and booking system wanting. Waitress was very efficient and friendly.

We stayed in the hotel for one night and decided to try the hotel restaurant. I am never sure about hotel restaurants as the standard can be quite low. However this one was very good. There is an a la carte menu which offers a good choice of salads and grills, pasta, fish and meat dishes. There is also a small table d'hote menu offering 2 or 3 courses for a fixed price. You can mix and match between the two menus if you prefer. Some very nice starters choices. We had the goats cheese; tiger king prawns and lamb kofta. Big portions and very tasty. For mains one of us chose a chicken salad from the set menu. The other two had the Hake fillet with fennel and mussels veloute. I thought the prices were quite reasonable , the Hake was exceptional value at £15. Good, friendly service.

What a pleasant surprise this was. I booked for Sunday lunch having read a few reviews and to be honest I did not have high expectations. The menu on line was fairly brief but included both a fish and vegetarian option. We were greeted like old and valued customers and the service was very attentive throughout, this may be because the restaurant was fairly empty but I get the impression that this level of service is normal. The price includes three courses, starters were fantastic, lot of choice and really fresh. Main was a choice of beef or pork (or salmon or veggie) served with all the traditional trimmings. I am a vegetable snob and for me the veg were cooked to perfection. Desserts were lovely, again a choice of hot or cold and a cheese board. I would definitely recommend a visit, easy to find, plenty of parking, pleasant surroundings and great staff!

This is based in the Hilton, the staff are really polite, helpful and friendly. We went in the evening, and had starters and mains. All was nice. I had vegetarian options and my friend had a burger. Service was good, prices weren't bad.
