My Spouse and I popped into this Wareham establishment for lunch. I had an absolutely delicious tomato and pesto quiche, whilst my other half opted for the scrumptious Dorset apple cake and clotted cream. Lovely ambience and friendly, welcoming service too.

One of the best meals I've had in a very long time. All food was lovely and generous portions, the starters (cheese souffle and salt and pepper squid) were exceptional, and the tiramisu was the best I have ever had!! Friendly, efficient service and lovely relaxed setting with fab decor. Already looking at when we can come again! Thank you so much.

We regularly visit The Salt Pig in Wareham as it's simply the best in town. Perfect for Breakfast, Lunch or just coffee and cake. All the food is locally sourced which is very important to us. All the staff are really friendly and extremely hard working. The food is always delicious and fresh and what about the Sunday Roasts...Woweee!! Just theeeee best. I can probably say it's the best eat out roast I've had, hand down!! We love it here. Ps we buy all our locally sourced meat from the in house butcher as well. Superb!!!

I was part of a very large pre booked running group- we were all very hungry upon arrival! We were catered for superbly with a number of delicious breakfasts, coffees and drinks brought to us promptly. The food looked and tasted lovely; the atmosphere perfect for a Christmas social and then there were the cakes! Wow! Despite feeling full, a number of us bought the delicious cake on offer which was kindly packaged up in a take-away box for later by the staff- a wonderful morning had by all.

Regular visitors to The QUAY, breakfast, lunch, dinner, steak night, just us two or with friends, food always excellent, service excellent, staff friendly and helpful, but……………it is always freezing in there, appreciate steak night need the ventilation to clear the smog, but our last 4 visits it has been uncomfortably cold, sitting with numerous layers, coat etc on and still shivering kinda takes the edge off things.

Enjoyed a lovely birthday meal here while visiting the area. My wife had the camembert, coq au vin then the apple and cinnamon crumble which were all fabulous. My mushrooms on bruschetta, Sirloin steak and espresso ice cream were all prepared perfectly and were delicious. All our hosts were incredibly helpful and attentive and the atmosphere in the upstairs room was lovely and relaxing.

Very nice enjoyable laid back eatery, in a atmospheric C15th (?) restaurant with tudor style wooden decor. We liked the desserts, particularly the "Dutch" apple pie, with local dairy cream. Very relaxed place, very Wareham!

Ordered the burger and lamb. Had water jug at the table with glasses with ice cubes. There was a fly in the ice. My burger was overcooked so sent it back. I then ordered the fish and chips. The left bit of the fish was fine but the right side was bony and hard. I sent that back and the waitress seemed annoyed. I heard her saying "she has sent this back as well". She said she would get the manager. She eventually returned saying that she had taken my fish off the bill. I went up to pay and the chef was there. He made me feel decidedly uncomfortable. Very unprofessional. I then heard her say as I was leaving "I did not put the service charge on the bill".
