Tiny cafe with limited seating but managed to perch myself up on a stool. Took a chance and ordered coffee and croissant. Not disappointed, thank you.

Visited wareham and Coffee Saloon just before restrictions on sitting indoors were lifted but we were happy perching on the little bench outside, even in the rain! Lovely latte and I was very envious of my daughters bacon roll so I ended up ordering one too. It really was the best I’ve had in a long while! Plenty of tasty bacon and a decent roll. Highly recommend. Friendly staff and a relaxing experience.

We had a look at a few quite tired looking cafes in the town while trying to decide where to have lunch, then stumbled across this place. So much better than what we had already seen and great value. Coffee and food were excellent.

Excellent, smooth roasts that change periodically, with the full range of variants and milk substitutes that so many others fail to provide, plus a great range of cakes and savouries. We're always greeted with a genuine smile by the friendly staff and it's our 'go to' pitstop whenever we come into Wareham.

Amazing staff and even more amazing food. Also had gluten free which is rare. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Delighted to find this little independent coffee shop on Wareham’s main street. Only takeaways available late on Sunday afternoon during lockdown, but it just felt like a friendly haven on a stormy November day. Great choice of savoury and sweet snacks including vegan. And the coffee was something to die for. Great staff as well, friendly and helpful. When you’re next in Wareham choose The Coffee Saloon rather than the main chains.

We stopped here for coffee twice during our recent stay in Corfe Castle. The coffee and Afghanise cookie were delicious. The staff were super friendly.

Amazing coffee. Just what we needed and were craving after a trip back from Purbeck. Oreo brownies are also devine!

Four of us stopped off here for a coffee on the way back from Purbeck. We were the only ones in this tiny cafe. The flat whites were excellent and the quality hot chocolate was delicious.The cakes were amazing too. Good luck with this venture.

Having walked round the  walls of Wareham we needed a drink and this place came up trumps. It’s all a bit down to earth but the cakes looked very good (didn’t have one) and the Earl Grey tea was great.  Friendly couple of chaps running it

Great coffee, dog friendly, wonderfully friendly staff PLUS they have Vicky the Cake Fairy who makes magnificent cakes, including a great range of vegan cakes. You have to try this.

One guy serving, but constantly running outside to chat to people and play with his phone. Queue of 3, 20 minutes to get a flat white - avoid

I thought how nice finally some where that does proper coffee... big disappointment. Atmosphere is loud techno music blasting, nowhere comfortable to actually sit down so slightly awkward. Not helped by the two very unfriendly girls behind the counter more interested in taking selfies than serving customers. I was meeting friends here so ordered first coffee and banana bread I had to ask for it to be toasted and noticed how ridiculously expensive it was - this made me check my change I had been short changed £2. When my friends came in and ordered the same thing happened to them £1 short and it had also happened to the customers sitting next to us who had over heard us talking. So not just a happy accident. Apart from that the coffee wasn't good the banana bread was ok. I would not recommend.

Great place to stop for a coffee. Good selection of light bites and fabulous cakes. The very friendly staff are most welcoming.

My coffee was not the best. It had a skin of oil on top and was so bitter it was almost undrinkable. Also very expensive for where it is.

I go in here regularly for one reason only, the place is small and in the morning crowded with pretentious lycra clad numpties who waffle on and on, oh but the coffe is really really good best in a town full of coffe shops.

We popped in as we were visiting the area. It was amazing coffee (and my sister works for a coffee company and she said it was great!) The banana bread was delicious - my daughter is dairy free so she loved it. Great atmosphere and service. Will definitely pop in again when we are down that way.

If you like coffee and a cake then this is definitely the place to go. The temperature of the coffee was perfect and the flavour amazing with home made pastries which were delicious, and to top it, two very welcoming staff who obviously have the skills to manage such a quirky coffee shop.

Nice little coffee shop in the main high street. The coffee was really good and the sandwiches, freshly made, were really yummy. It's also dog friendly.

Arrived a bit early at Wareham today, so thought we'd pop in and grab a 'quick' take away coffee.. after standing around looking for staff for a couple of minutes, i shouted hello...nothing, then waited another few minutes or so. Then my friend actually went behind the counter to shout hello again round the corner/upstairs. Eventually, someone did come down to serve us.. I told them we had been waiting a little while, nothing.. no apology or any response from her whatsoever. It's a shame, the coffee was nice but the service wasn't good so won't be returning.

Maybe they were having a bad day but service was inattentive and disinterested. The cafe is small with limited seating. The food prep area is very small and was very messy. The washing up area immediately adjacent to the food prep are was unpleasantly crammed with dirty dishes . Lots of flies buzzing around on this hot June day. The coffee was excellent. The toasted ham and cheese croissant was edible. The cheese and tomato toastie with chutney was inedible. Melted cheese , hardly any tomato and smothered in chutney. Maybe try serving chutney on the side.

Our trip to Dorset started with an early breakfast at the Coffee Saloon. The single member of staff had a constant stream of predominantly local customers which is a good sign. It also meant that there was a delay in receiving our food and drink. This is not a criticism of the staff member who didn't stop for the whole period we were in the cafe. The quality of the granola, coffee and sour dough bread was excellent. The only drawback was the not so quiet customer who seemed to think the whole cafe might want to hear about her job, her fitness regime and her working the gym. When she left normality returned and the ambience (for us) improved significantly.

Wow a cute Coffee Saloon, very small with unique decor and delicious coffee. It is really nice to come across places with their own personality offering good coffee and some original food. We were served quickly and enjoyed the atmosphere.

A good find with welcoming smile and offer of service. Makes all the difference. Toulouse sausage and Emmental toastie and coffee is highly recommended!

Not wecoming at all , no smiling faces or even a good morning , just a lifting of eyebrows with a yes . The person who served me with his trendy mustachio obviously thinks Seniors should not be encouraged in their trendy coffee shop. Coffee was strange tasting , not to my taste at all, came in a tea cup with no saucer , is this the latest thing ?

I love this cute little hipster coffee shop in Wareham! Really friendly & fast service and there's always a smiling face behind the counter.

Great atmosphere, small but friendly, coffees made to suit excellent. Different types of food and cakes i.e. Orange and pecan polenta cake, avocado on toast, banana loaf etc mmmm

Love the concept and the decor was very fitting with sheets of corrugated metal lining the walls. The barista was not wearing spurs! Fantastic sunny and energetic welcome. I went for the savoury muffin which came toasted spread with Lurpak. Filling was feta cheese and chilli. Taste buds were ecstatic.

Just walking by and saw this lovely little place. Decided just to have an espresso to pick up half way through the day. It was a wonderful coffee and very strong - just the way I like it. Would recommend this place and hope it does really well in Wareham.

I went to the Saloon in Wareham and in Poole. They look very similar but Wareham has the better Barista, in my opinion. I couldn't believe the quality of my fist coffee there so I went back the following day; it was the same! Barista doesn't have a ridiculous beard either.

Coffee enjoyed here most Saturday mornings with a friend before doing a bit of shopping. Lovely staff - good coffee. Music a little too loud but...

Dropped in with family for croissants (nice and fresh), coffee (delicious and strong), babycinnos (fluffy) and toasted banana bread (delicious). Staff v friendly. Not much room to sit. Recommended.

Popped in for coffee after a stormy night in the nearby campsite and the coffee was nectar... Strong and not bitter. Great. Free wifi if you need it. An array of cakes and savoury nibbles which we did not try.

Quick refreshment stop after walking around the old Saxon town walls. Great coffee in a quirky US setting. Counter staff very friendly. 2 gluten free cake options. I had orange and polenta cake ...highly recommended.

Very basic no frills artisan coffee shack which offers excellent coffee and interesting snacks. Small premises with limited seating maybe too basic for some but based on western saloon theme -don't be put off the coffee is very good either drink in or take away.

We were looking for a hot coffee and light breakfast on a freezing morning - then we found these 2 cheery young blokes delivering the best coffee plus avo on toast and a huge range of beautiful cakes in a funky little corner - open at 7am!

Small, rustic design. Couple of outside tables. Coffee lovely, but could have been hotter. Tempted by the cakes, but resisted the temptation.

Lovely staff, coffee brilliant, cakes delicious and the sourdough bread is out of this world - good ambience and gentle background music, the aroma of coffee and cakes is simply lovely.

I'm fussy about my coffee but the coffee here was exceptionally good. I had to have two! Good atmosphere, friendly staff.

Apart from a place we visited in Corfe Castle this was the only place that had great coffee. Loved the music and the staff were very friendly!!

The title says it all. The only reason I gave 4 not 5 stars is the lack of toilet. And they only take cash (though the latter's not a massive issue for me - there's a cashpoint over the road).

I suggest latte and a sausage sandwich and a chat with the warm and friendly team. The cakes and other tasty treats are well worth a try too. See you there!!

The Coffee Saloon is the best place to go for coffee in Wareham. The coffee and food are both great and the atmosphere is friendly and chilled. This place feels exactly how a coffee shop should, and they're dog friendly. I've tried the coffee in every cafe, restaurant and pub in and around Wareham, and the Coffee Saloon wins hands down!!

Coffee and cake was required. I sampled the savoury muffin which was then offered aa extra option to be toasted and buttered. Great coffee - great service.

I did not expect to find a coffee shop like this in Wareham. The decor was fun, the service was friendly and helpful. The coffee itself was superb.

Went for a walk by Wareham river and on our return fancied a coffee so we went into The Coffee Saloon which was one of few places open on a Sunday afternoon.
