Good service, drinks poured by Ethan. Very helpful, and remembered our drinks despite the pub being busy with live football.

Food was spot on only thing that let it down was that awful ketchup being used taste luke pure vineger, i would say chance the sauce or dont water it down and youd be onto a winner again

Love this place although, today, not happy with watching food being served. The chef, with a beard, had no beard snood or hat. He was also serving food onto the plates with his fingers. Basic hygiene not being observed. Staff are all brilliant but surprised at these failings.

Lovcosy café when it's cold and equally lovely outdoor area one sunny day. I stop sometimes for a drink when travelling for work. My family have enjoyed the sandwiches and cakes and the kids picnic lunch is really good quality. Friendly staff, handy for the station or cycling. What a wonderful idea.

Great breakfast great place to eat

This 14th century pub is a local legend, known locally as ‘The Kicker’ it is a must visit for anyone living nearby or visiting the area. The pub is true to its historic nature and offers many relics and pictures of its story throughout history. The pub itself offers a wide variety of drinks, including one of the best selections of ciders on tap around the Portishead area. For food the pub offers good value for money with pub snacks and homemade sandwiches.

Yet another AMAZING brunch/breakfast! This really is the perfect place to go!! Can't imagine where some of the low score feedbacks come from?? Or why? I've been in the hospitality business over 30 years, and what is offered here, is as good as it gets! Great service, great value, and super quality... can not fault it!!! Firstly the bus cafe wasn't open here, and you need to wear a mask to purchase from the shop. They do some lovely produce and the baps are amazing value, it is a proper rustic food lovers paradise. A good selection of meats, pies, fish, vegetables and beers and ciders are available. Nice place to visit, pick up supplies if your passing by, also about the only thing close to the nearby Holiday Inn. Good spot..

I regularity go to this café as is is the cheapest and the best I have found in the whole Portishead area and good in comparison to Bristol offerings. Its not posh but it provides a great meal before a walk on the sea front. Go! Try it!

Went to get food, walked in asked if they do food to simply be told ‘No’ though it says bar & restaurant on the outside. Don’t know if this is all the time or not but they didn’t elaborate to say anything like ‘not just tonight’ or ‘we’re now out of season’ so assume they are just now solely a pub.

Always good service and beautiful food. Happy friendly atmosphere. Often meet with a friend for tea and cake but also have had the best breakfast freshly cooked with lots of choice.

We walked here from the airport for a family meal. The food was excellent and staff and locals welcoming and friendly. When it was time to walk back the wether had changed dramatically and it was pouring down. The manager/owner offered and gave us a lift back to the airport. So kind of her and much appreciated. Thank you, we will be back

The cafe was open late for the carnival night. My band 'Guillotine Dream' were due to play a gig at The Electric Banana and after soundcheck and a couple of pints in The Duke of Oxford we stumbled upon this cafe. Although two of our members live in Weston and I lived there for 20 years it was our first time in this cafe. Our local friend who was with us had also never been in there. We were greeted very warmly by the staff (fellow midlanders btw!) and were served very reasonably priced and very tasty food. We didn't have to wait long. My friends had beef stew and I had all day veggie breakfast which came with a coffee and toast and was delicious and filling. They said the stew was lovely too. I would recommend this cafe wholeheartedly! Thanks to the staff! Ian.

It has everything you need good service great food lovely staff big fluffy dog to cuddle good in the day and at night I come here every day and never disappointed try it out for yourself

Had an excellent breakfast here this morning. I was very impressed by the friendliness of the staff. Spotlessly clean and has great decor inside. I am also looking forward to trying the special nights planned. Fish and chips, wine and cheese and a traditional Christmas dinner nearer Christmas. My only moan and groan. I have lost count of the times I have passed these premises and never ventured in. But now I realise, I have been missing out on a little gem. And I'm happy to say, I will be visiting with monotonous regularity from now on.
