Prior to holidaying in Weston Super-mare, I looked for the popular places to visit, and this was one of them. I had a banana, chocolate & vanilla whippy and my husband had coconut ice cream - both doubles and both delicious - they were MASSIVE! Recommend you visit here as soon as you arrive because you’ll want to go back again and again!

Beautiful restaurant with stunning food! If you’re looking for exceptional food at a reasonable price this is the place to be. The Duck croquettes were beautiful and full of flavour, and my wife enjoyed the cured salmon. For mains I had the stuffed chicken breast which was bursting with flavour and perfectly cooked. The squash purée was to die for!! Highly recommend this restaurant. Well done team! Ken and Jude x

Hidden away from the crowd is Dots cafe . The highlights are scones ,savoury and cream tea types and homemade cakes. Tomato and basil served with garnish and relish with tea or coffee costs only £6. We sat in the courtyard with ducks and hens pottering nearby but there are inside seats too. Will bring more friends in the future.

We had a delicious breakfast on Saturday, we had the plant based option, with sausages, fried potatoes, tomato, mushroom, beans and toast in the café, surrounded by beautiful plants and gardening paraphernalia. A lovely treat on an Autumn morning. Not cheap, but good value for an independent venue in gorgeous surroundings.

Plenty to eat, friendly staff , cooked to perfection & well priced. Not far from town centre much better value than in town.

Had been meaning to visit for years and finally managed to find the opportunity. We weren’t disappointed. Enjoyed the fish and chips (we’d recommend booking an early slot as the food is freshest at the start of service). But the real highlight were the 3 or 4 salads to accompany. All of which made the meal excellent value (£13.50 per head + drinks). Friendly service and great views too. We’ll be returning for sure!

Another great visit to the Ginger Pig Kitchen.. Wonderful food and brilliant service.. The Tapas menu is delicious and great value for money. A perfect wine list, we were spoilt for choice. The staff are so attenative, the owners Dave and Hannah really looked after us. Can't wait to go back!

For fans of the great Frankie Howerd (or even if you can't remember him too well), this cafe/hub is a pure delight! It must be in an old barn judging by the thickness of the whitewashed walls and window nooks. Run by Keiran, the cafe is into its third year. The atmosphere is wonderful, the walls enriched with photographs of Frankie with some of his co-stars, back in the day! There is also a huge portrait of him (a copy of the original, as we were advised). The cafe offers a range of food, including lunch menus, cakes galore, and coffee/tea. There is an outside toilet and outside seating for warmer days plus plenty of seating inside. You must go there - highly recommended.

Been here twice, friendly service, food is great! Cooking time isn't too long, great place to stop by for a snacky lunch. First time here I bought a chip butty and the server did not skimp out on the chips! Today I opted for a bacon and egg roll, fairly priced at £4.20 and listening to the bacon crackle and the egg cooking just made me hungrier (lol!). I purchase food and take it home, but there is outdoor seating available if you'd like to stick around and eat there (for example today it was very sunny and dry out, so there were people sitting out and eating).
