The best restaurants serving British food in Cotswold South West

What a lovely place to have a cuppa tea and a bite to eat. The food was amazing. We had sandwiches and the thai pea and spinach soup which was delicious. Jackie and Alan have created a warm welcoming tearoom with some thoughtful and inspiring words of wisdom displayed on the walls. I certainly recommend this place to anybody who visits Stow on the Wold but be sure to book in advance.

Beautiful tasting menu last night at Henne. Wonderful service which made our wedding anniversary very special. We would definitely love to return.

This busy cafe is known for great coffee, friendly service and now has a lovely new cafe area. Great cakes too! Good coffee stop when on a walk in the area.

Darren and Lisa are a pleasure to know. They are so cheerful and helpful. The fish and chips ( gluten free) are delicious, piping hot and plentiful. Cooked fresh to order. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Such a wonderful shop that takes you back to your childhood with old fashioned sweets plus all your classic modern day sweets……there must be over 500 different sweet lines! It’s certainly not an easy choice to decide what you’re having! They also do absolutely fantastic ice cream milkshakes…..they are a must try! My daughter loves the smoothies. American sodas & drinks available. Fresh local fudge. Locally supplied ice creams. Friendly smiling staff a truly wonderful experience

So pleased that Lynwood & co have opened a branch in our lovely village (town). I regularly pop in after a morning run to enjoy a coffee which is always superb. The cinnamon Bear Claw to go with it is a delight. Staff are friendly and always find time for a chat. The ambience and laid back friendliness of Lynwoods compliments where we live perfectly.

Lucky me coming across this gem. A quiet village.stunning scenery. Lovely welcome. Excellent bacon sandwich. Better than most I have consumed in Oxfordshire. In fact... the best. Sat outside . Village life. Lovely. Wonderful. Yum yum yum.😍

We came here for a spa day and it was brilliant. A lovely setting in the Cotswolds. The service was very good - we felt very well looked after. We will definitely be returning at some point in the future

We so enjoyed our first visit here for dinner this evening celebrating John's birthday. Jason and Michelle are the perfect hosts and we really enjoyed chatting with them. Our food was delicious and beautifully complemented by the wine. A lovely extra touch was a birthday card from our hosts and some hand-made gingerbread pieces to take home. Very cute cafe with pretty interiors, great service and delicious food. They also source their ingredients from other locally owned businesses from the region, so 10/10 for that!
