The Cornish food hub provided food and staff for or wedding at Trevassack lake last weekend. We cannot compliment them enough !! Food was exemplary as was the service !! We chose to have their sharing plates which worked so well bringing people together that had never met before. Cannot compliment Nathan,Andre and the team enough. Thank you xx

Wonderful fish and chips. Only realised why Nettles on the way home in the car. As well as a superb fish and chip shop it’s a dr who museum, great for the kids to visit and fun while waiting. We had the works last night and the food was superb. On the train back to london and telling all my friends about Cornwall fish and chips. Thanks Dr, beautiful food and chat. Great value too

Very warm welcome from the friendliest of owners. Absolutely amazing food. The cleanest pub we have ever seen. Felt like we were eating dinner with friends. Lovely atmosphere. Can’t wait to return. Can’t recommend highly enough. We will definitely be back soon.

A lovely venue, polite staff and good food - the trouble was that it took so very long to arrive! We were the fifth and sixth people in the restaurant and yet it took 45 minutes after ordering for our food to show. Another gripe is the menu - initially the prices seem very reasonable, until you notice a ‘supplement’ charge on half the main courses. The supplement is an additional cost on top of the listed menu price, meaning the food doesn’t actually fall under the price category it appears to. The food is not overpriced, but the way of listing it feels deceptive. It’s a shame because as mentioned, the atmosphere and food itself were lovely.

This is such a lovely welcoming doggie friendly cafe ! It has a brilliant menu ranging from breakfasts to tasty roast lunches including snacks & takeaways what more can you ask for ? The owner & staff are so friendly & made our visit so comfortable. The prices are very reasonable. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is on holiday for a quick bite . My dog 🐕 Bryn staffie/cross boxer loved it too thankyou 😊

Went in intending to get a breakfast. Took a seat decide what we wanted and then went to the counter to order. Got told to sit down and she will come over. We where sat for ages and she never came over. She took the order of the other people who came in before us and then walked of into the back and started doing some chopping and kept looking at us. We got up and left and so did another couple. The tables had not been cleaned and there where still dirty plates on them.

Fab Indonesian fish curried noodles. Packed full of fish and mussels. The best meal of the trip . My daughter and husband had the pulled pork burger which they said that they were the best they’d had. Thursday evening was music night and we were treated to a couple singing folk music

Not a review. Just for information, this is no longer a pub. It was sold and has now been converted to a residence in 2022.

Small portions and expensive , the medium box is now the small box so you don’t get many chips , the piece of cod is very small and expensive , chips were not very nice hard inside not fluffy at all , the food didn’t taste very nice and it was greasy , we won’t be going there again .

We booked the hotel randomly, the pictures on the webside pg looks fab but I think they're supose to changed them because the room we got wosn't looks exactly the same I think the pictures they're from the time when the hotel was open .Everything is very old inside and filty we were in the room 2 min the smell was awful !!!Carpet with a lot of stains on it I was afraid to take my shoes a lot of scratches in the wall beside the windows, doors floors cracking, room was stinks!!!!Disgusting place !!I'm not recommended this hotel ,Just disappointed. Many Thanks for the girl in reception to sorted to us the refund she was very nice person..
