The best restaurants serving British food in Town Centre Christchurch South West

Cannot recommend this lovely location more! We held a baby shower in their private room shortly before Christmas and it was just the most perfect place for the occasion. The afternoon tea was exceptional and I'm still talking about the incredible mocktails two months later! The price was so reasonable for what we received, the girls were all wonderful and so welcoming and attentive - nothing was too much and they went above and beyond to make it the perfect brunch for our mummies to be! We actually were having so much fun that we didn't realise we'd gone past closing time, but we weren't hurried out or made to feel like we'd outstayed our welcome whatsoever (sorry girls!!). Would 100% return again!

Step into history. The food was fresh and tasty. It's one of the best hallumi dishes we had. Orchid and dragon gin Cocktail, divine. A feast.

Wasn't keen. Half the menu Wasn't available so I only had one choice being pescatarian but what I had was ok.

Wonderful stay at the Captain's Club, accommodation and staff were excellent, Can't wait for our next stay, hopefully in the near future.

We’re completely hooked on their Sunday lunches. We always book a late table about 4pm and the roast is still absolutely perfect - tender roast beef, crispy roast potatoes, lovely Yorkshire and a selection of fresh vegetables. Many thanks to Tenisha for making the whole experience so friendly and welcoming, and top marks to the chef!

My husband and I went into Kelly's for the first time as we wanted lunch. We had jacket potato which was really good. I wanted to say how nice the staff were. They are a young team and they were so polite and friendly. They all looked happy in their jobs. Thank you for making our day

Food was horrendous not cooked the place was really rundown and when I complained staff just laughed at me and insulted me . Horrible experience so please give this place a miss.

We are on holiday and fancied some chips we had scampi and chips and pie and chips and the chips were disgusting they were over cooked and tasted like they had been cooked an hour ago nearly twenty pounds wasted it all went straight in the bin 🤮

Absolutely lovely independent pub, friendly staff & amazing food. We’ve only ever had a drink here in the past, but we are so pleased we decided to have a meal. We had a variety of dishes, scotch egg, fish cakes, chicken burger, wings & seafood platter. All of which tasted fresh & delicious. We all felt it was the finest pub lunch we have eaten. We will definitely be visiting here again. Ps the manageress should be added to the paintings.

We went to the Haven yesterday and the lovely Clara was so helpful and friendly who took our order. We eat regularly at this cafe and look forward to our visits. We sat outside and when the waitress came she was completely the opposite. I asked her for cutlery and she said we had to go in and collect it ourselves. We asked her if she could get it for us, as we are elderly, and she said "no" but reluctantly said "this is the last time I do this". There was another couple by us and they had the same response. She was so abrupt and rude and if she carries on like this she will have no one to serve. (she had a face mask on so you will know who she is). We were so disappointed as we always look forward to eating at Haven every time we visit Mudeford.
