Este pequeño salón de té (ahora conocido como Ashwell and Co) es una joya absoluta! Muchas gracias al equipo por acoger el té de la tarde más maravilloso para mi cumpleaños. Absolutamente todo era casero y tan delicioso! Había un par de nosotros con necesidades dietéticas especiales: soy vegano y uno de los participantes tiene necesidades médicas, lo que significa que están en una dieta limitada. Esto no desconcertó en absoluto al equipo: me proporcionaron un té vegano por la tarde y se esforzaron por incluir a la otra persona en mis celebraciones. El salón de té es parte de una tienda que está llena de la más maravillosa selección de ropa vintage y artículos para el hogar. Mientras estuve allí me compré un precioso cardigan de punto que es perfecto para los meses de otoño/invierno. Así que en general salí muy feliz y disfruté mi cumpleaños a fondo. Disfrute de un té por la tarde aquí - no se decepcionará!

Attended the Tuscan cookery class last night after receiving vouchers for Christmas. What a delight this experience was. Superb host with a friendly, efficient team supporting. Relaxed atmosphere, easy to follow instructions. We created some really tasty dishes, made with the finest ingredients. At the end of the night we ate our dishes and even took a doggy-bag home! Cosy, intimate vibe with artwork & artistic small plates catering to meat eaters & vegetarians/vegans. Especially loved their take calamari made with oyster mushrooms.

Really lovely pub and beer selection… will be back!

I'd give it zero stars if possible but the only thing that saved it slightly was the waiting staff being lovely (although they were understaffed and only had one person making drinks, taking people to tables and taking orders). The food was hugely disappointing. All poached eggs were hard and then replacements were cooked but by the time they came the rest of the food was left to go cold. When the manager was given feedback the response was that you will pass it on, and that's not good customer service! When you pay over £120 for six people to have one breakfast dish and a hot drink it was seriously disappointing.

We held our wedding reception at The Eldon House and couldn't have been happier. Beautiful setting with natural light and fairy lights, great food, PA system for dancing afterwards. Everyone was so professional and helpful, thank you very much!

Me and my partner love the Channings and visit every time we are in the local area. The building is beautiful and Dan and the team always make us feel welcome including our dog who always gets a little treat which he has become quite accustomed too. The pub is also impeccably clean and every single time we have food it’s absolutely delicious and very good value for money. I am very much looking forward to some warmer weather so we can sit outside in their spacious garden. Thankyou to everyone who remembers our names and makes us feel special every time we visit, it really is appreciated.

My friend got spiked here by needle and I know of many other people who have been spiked. It is a dangerous club and they have no security or body searching of any kind.
