A wonderful experience. Get taken back on time to a quintessentially English afternoon tea. It is a delight to the senses with the beautiful attention to detail from the lace table cloths to the beautifully decorated China. The lunch is delucous and if too much boxes are provided for you take it home. The glass of Prosecco was lovely. An area is filled with the most beautiful vintage wedding dresses and also an eclectic mix of dresses, tops and lingerie. There is a cornucopia of objects that you will tempted to buy and we did. A real gem of a place. We will be back again.

Attended the Tuscan cookery class last night after receiving vouchers for Christmas. What a delight this experience was. Superb host with a friendly, efficient team supporting. Relaxed atmosphere, easy to follow instructions. We created some really tasty dishes, made with the finest ingredients. At the end of the night we ate our dishes and even took a doggy-bag home! Do this, you won’t regret it. Thanks Simon and Team Papadeli

Sunday roast is awful, the potatoes were hard and had no crisp, the meat was cold, gravy was cold and it was empty so no excuse for why it would be. We did complain and were refunded 2 of the 5 roasts. Staff were nice, felt bad for them as they definitely had 0 confidence in what they were serving. Will never be coming back for food again.

Wow just wow, just been for Sunday lunch and had whole chicken for two with all the trimmings, Amazing what a feast. Sadly I didn’t get a pic but well worth it. Best roast he’s ever had was other half’s words - well done Port it was stunning 👍

I came along to River Cottage last night - I attended the Thursday night vegetable supper club with friends. The food was delicious, innovative. Full of flavour. There are 2 courses to choose from, mains and a dessert. I had the curried squash Dal with Kale this was amazing. Followed by a chocolate beetroot torte with spiced poached pears and yoghurt. This was a delight for my taste buds. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant and very friendly staff. Very affordable prices on food and drinks. There is a shop come deli inside the restaurant selling a great selection of cook books, blankets, honey and more. RC I will come again. I loved it!

Visited today, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is relaxed yet lively, with a cozy ambiance that's perfect for catching up with friends. The decor has a rustic charm, and the music added a nice vibe without being overpowering
