The Laughing Fish is our local pub so we often pop in for a drink and always receive a warm welcome and excellent service from Bella and team! We tried the new Thai menu last night and it was absolutely delicious - can’t wait for more!

This is our favourite pub/restaurant in the UK. We have been to many including Michelin star restaurants and without a doubt this is the best. The food is always exceptional. The service is fantastic. The owners are lovely and all the staff. The ambience is just perfect and we just cannot fault it. Great in the summer winter spring and autumn. Food is fresh and delicious. The garden is beautiful in the summer to enjoy a nice drink outside and meal.

The food, staff and venue were all excellent. We would thoroughly recommend this venue for Sunday lunch. We're looking forward to going there in tge summer and enjoying the views from the pub garden.

Dinner and Oye Santana concert. Dinner and service really good, food excellent, staff all lovely. Oye Santana great, we’ve seen them before. We moved to East Sussex from London a few years ago and had nowhere like Trading Boundaries where we lived. So lucky to have such a brilliant venue practically on our doorstep. We’ll be back.

Disappointing, the Sloop's web-site offered a set two course lunch for £19.50, an offer reiterated on the Festive Menu Board in the restaurant. On arrival, with my wife and two friends. we were informed the set menu was not available and we needed to order from the al la carte menu. As I only required a light meal, I ordered a main course , steak and chips , coffee and mince pie with a bottle of non-alcoholic beer. This came all came to £46.40 including the added 12.5% gratuity. Cannot fault the service and ambiance however. I agree with the other's who posted similar comments - rather expensive for a steak pub lunch.

After a walk around Sheffield Park we went into the Coach House Tea Rooms for some drinks and a snack.- A limited Choice Both of which were Okay, but nothing more and a little overpriced but it served our purpose

Roast was tough, dry and chewy. Between us, we had pork belly, chicken, beef and lamb. All of us was tough/dry. Roast Potatoes had been pre cooked and sat under heat lamp and were dry and flavourless. Yorkshire’s dry and chewy. So disappointing. Very flavourless too, really lack of seasoning. It never used to be like this. Starters, and the Kids meals were good (fish and chips/burgers). On a plus side, the table service was good. Play area is great, especially the climbing trees in the bushes. Desserts and drinks all good. If we went back; we would definitely not order a roast dinner.
