What an edgy venue! Great coffee and the most delicious cinnamon bun ! The service was friendly and personal. Great music too ! And customers just kept coming in …. 10/10.

Local chippy to my Grandma. When I come over from Thailand for a visit I insist on fish and chips from this fantastic restaurant. I've eaten in once which was great. Usually get a takeaway though. Portion sizes are extremely generous. Bear this in mind when ordering for a few people.

Delicious Sunday roast. We’ve not eaten at the Skimmington Castle for a long time and I’m so glad we went back. The Sunday roast was delicious, generous portions and bottomless potatoes which are the nicest I’ve eaten out. Lovely crisp roasts. My husband had the brioche bread and butter pudding and I had a sneaky bite and it was heavenly. Everything is homemade and you can tell. The service was lovely, attentive without being intrusive. This will be our got to for Sunday roast now.

As usual a truly lovely breakfast great service and a real pleasure to eat there Standards are always so high and always done with a big smile Look forward to returning again soon.

My partner and I enjoyed having breakfast here with my bro-in-law & his wife this morning (they’d not visited beforehand). We have been visiting his local café regularly for three years and the staff always remember us with a genuine smile & warm welcome. Their mega breakfast is delicious but they have such a super menu selection you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to just having breakfast! Recommended as it’s good value for money. The only downside is how popular it can be, meaning finding a table can be pot luck on a busy Saturday morning. Thankfully we grabbed the last available table this morning. Thank you to the Silver Spoon team.

Called in this morning for breakfast. The quality and quantity was excellent. Best omelette for a long time. Customer service also excellent. Delightful staff and nice to have a smiling helpful waitress.

A lovely cafe I’ve been using for years but today we had an unpleasant incident, got there at 10:30am cafe was reasonably full, sat down and saw a dog walking around the cafe, after a while it went into the kitchen for sometime, my friend really doesn’t like this particular breed of dog so we left. Are dogs allowed off lead in a cafe or kitchen !!! Very disappointed.

Edibles catered for 70 people at my birthday party last weekend. They helped is with our choice of cold canapes and delivered promptly. There was a lot of food and it arrived beautifully set out and was absolutely delicious; there was not one item people didn’t enjoy. I have been to several events that they have catered for and all were of a very high standard. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

What a great breakfast! Popped in for a branch last Saturday. The Mediterranean breakfast was suggested to me…..why not?! So I ordered and got a decaffeinated coffee as part of the meal. I have to admit the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Great combination of veg everything tasty and fresh. The cafetière of decaf was lovely too!

El café antes, entre mis clases e incluso después de un turno, antes de uni en el trabajo, me vine aquí a estudiar y escribir, incluso antes de viajar de regreso a mi casa en Gales donde me visita cuando uni está en paréntesis. Nunca pensé que mi última visita antes de viajar a Gales fue mi última visita nunca. Los capuchinos fueron uno de los mejores de la zona y la verdad es que supera las tiendas comerciales de café. . . Fueron real capuchinos! Y la envoltura de crepe de vegetales era tan, tan delicioso! ! Sólo deseo que me agarré una envoltura junto con mi capuchino y croissant de chocolate gratis la última vez que visité! ! Estoy seguro de que esto era muy inesperado pero por alguna razón para su cierre y estoy realmente triste perder esta tienda mucho ya. Estoy triste no puedo hacer uno más ya que estoy lejos! El personal era siempre tan encantadora, sonriente, amable y muy cálido y acogedor. . . Fue increíble servicio al cliente! Buena suerte para el personal con su futuro y gracias por sus servicios y excelentes comidas y bebidas! ! Gracias de nuevo! !
