Really good fish and chips. Service was relatively quick as all fish is freshly cooked, not kept hot and dry out. The service is friendly and well organised.

This is the first time I tried, the food was not as expected tasty… The only thing that is good is they have lunch menu, which is not expensive

First order best piece of cod for many years and thanks for the free chips.

A fish and chip shop that does takeways and has a few tables for those that want to eat-in. We had various sorts of fish and chips, all great. The cod I had was thick and tasty with just enough batter around the outside, no oiliness at all. I didn't feel bloated but didn't eat for the rest of the day either. The others were similarly delighted with what they had. The staff were really friendly and engaging without being pushy - happy to chat if/when asked, otherwise sticking well to their jobs. Three fish-and-chip lunches + three teas/coffees for about £60.

Absolutely delicious fish and chips, genuinely the best I’ve ever had. Brilliantly cooked fresh fish and a huge portion of the best crispy proper chips you could ask for. I go all the time and it is consistently excellent. As our national dish it is amazing how poorly done f&c is in so may places. Sea Salt never disappoints. Just a shame the owner is Tottenham, but you can’t have everything!

Use this place occasionally. The food is always good. In last visit waited almost 20 mins for my order but food was cooked fresh so not really an issue. Very friendly service

I have been very happy with the food served over the last 5 years but on Saturday 27th January :- i bought cod and chips,mushy peas and tarter sauce- and a battered sausage (not yet eaten) £18.50 - order number 57 at time 6.45pm when i got home i thought the cod was a bit rubbery and tasteless - but not having eaten since breakfast i did eat it . 6 hours later i had the most terrible stomach pains and violent sickness both ends ! i am recovering today. dry toast for me tonight !

Be careful when paying, the lady that works here covers the card machine and over charges when challenged she says it was a mistake but it happened twice so seems like a coincidence , she is also very rude. She was unable to give a receipt when she overcharged me.

I ordered on Deliveroo and was very pleased with how quickly they delivered. Delicious cod and chips (10/10!!) and a very generous portion size. Will definitely be back, maybe to come eat in next time 😁.

The staff are really lovely, but the fish was drenched in oil... portions are huge. A regular is rather large, I'll downsize next time

Very disappointed. Was looking forward to cod and chips. Cod was very oily and the chips tasted like they were refried and were brown. Shame as before they had been delicious.

I will travel for good fish and chips and this is definitely a place for it. Always friendly service.

I was with my elderly Dad who is in the early stages of dementia. The lady that served my dad shouted at him to hurry up - I know that this may just be her manner but the whole atmosphere was chaotic with all the staff shouting at each other. I used to love this takeaway but will not go again my cod was tasteless and the batter was soggy and greasy

Twice now we have ordered from Seasalt and have been very disappointed. The food used to be exceptional, thick tasty cod in a crunchy batter and great tasting fresh chips. Twice now the cod has been thin, watery and tasteless, the batter soggy. It’s also expensive for what it is but I didn’t mind when the quality was good as you get what you pay for right? Not now I’m afraid. Such a shame as it used to be so good but sadly we won’t be ordering again.

My god you guys have REALLY outdone yourselves! Reigate takeaways are awful but I’ve finally found somewhere worth ordering from! These are best chips I’ve ever had! Light, fluffy, crunchy but soft, not oily and a small portion is definitely more than enough for one person. The cod roe is abit smaller but still filling and tasty batter, again not too oily! Fish cake was beautiful, tastes amazing light crispy fluffy, mushy peas to die for. Overall fantastic and food arrived hot even after a 10-15 min drive through deliveroo. Thanks guys!! Xxx

The fish and chips are good but not that good waiting nearly 2 hours for a delivery is unacceptable when it arrived the food was cold and had to be reheated the calamari for the price is disgusting. We have all been in a fish and chip shop and it does not take 2 hours to produce two meals. The cost was £38 for two meals with delivery a waste of money. I would urge future customers to really think hard if you want this restaurant food. This restaurant has over stretched itself and is only interested in profits there is no quality. They know delivery customer orders wait for there food but this restaurant has pushed that bar too far. The meal was terrible overpriced and a complete waste of money.

Nice little eating in area as part of a takeaway fish and chip shop. Fish is freshly cooked to order and beautifully cooked. On this occasion the chips weren't quite to the same high standard as there were a number of scrappy bits.

Delicious fish and chips cooked and presented with care. Lovely little seating area if you want to eat in but the food kept it's heat for the 10 minute drive home.

Best chips in Reigate by a long way, and the best in the local area too. Very rare I find a chippy that gives you a bag of chips, rather than half to three quarters of a bag, and a load of crusty batter at the bottom. Bravo!

This place is a real joke, don't understand how they have so many positive reviews. Been there a couple of times and its always the same story - chips taste reheated, old and very chrunchy. Fish masive portion but hardly any fish. Also the prices are ridiculous. Never ever!! Avoid big time, look elsewhere, total waste of money!!

We are tourists from germany and went there with our british friends for the fish and Chips experience... It was awesome!!! Super big plates and veeeery tasty 😊😊 Also the Service was very nice !! Next time we visit the uk this will be one of the places we revisit!

Excellent fish and chips with great service. The takeaway is nice, feels modern and clean. Has dine in option but not after 8.30. The food is really good. Chips are amazing, right ratio of crunchy to soggy excellent. Fish is also very good. Batter is lovely and crunchy and fish tastes fresh. Really good. Highly recommend for a good fish and chips!

Disappointing tbh . Read the previous reviews and pretty positive . Had cod and chips . Chips seemed overcooked , dry or reheated . Cod was only just cooked , but batter was nice looking on the outside but soggy and white and stuck to the fish on the inside . I’ll give them 3 but 2.5 is more like it . Not the best / not the worst . Won’t care to go back . Pricey too . Not worth the cash .

With a name as "whole tail scampi x 14" one can expect whole tail of the 14 scampis for the high price. But got half tail scampi. Taste is good though. But name is missleading.

We have ordered these so many times I've lost count. But lately chips seem to be dry and over burnt (as if using old oil, or repeatedly reheated unfortunately 😕). Also one thing that always bothered me was the fact that i cannot order fish (as i don't eat meat and they fry it together with sausages etc). Some of my friends who are Muslims cannot order fish also (for the same reason). Its just such a shame!!!

There are so many fried fish shops that even children won’t let go of it. If you talk to the owner, you will find out that he goes to the fish market every day to pick the best fish!

Generous portions but my order was wrong despite me telling the lady several times. Her English wasn’t the best which isn’t a problem until you don’t get the food you want. Fish wasn’t fresh but batter was good as were the chips. Bit pricey for fish and chips but then again I am from a fishing port up north so have high expectations as to what proper fish and chips should be like.

Lunch with our family. Staff really friendly and took dogs in their covers area. Food lovely, highlights... Greek burger, lobster roll (think burger) and amazing whole crab (with bib!)

Surely the best fish and chip shop in the world. My husband and I always get one to share as the fish is ENORMOUS and you get loads of chips. Absolutely delicious. We had fish and chips I Wales this week (first holiday in almost 2 years!) and realised we have been spoilt... it was about 10x worse! Sea salt has ruined fish and chips anywhere else for us forever as we will forever be comparing... we'll never be able to get fish and chips anywhere else now as it will always be a let-down 😂

Really disappointed with the food tonight, chicken was extremely dry so much so I couldn’t eat it. Also shocked at how abrupt and rudely spoken to I was when I arrived. Such a shame. Lived a stones throw away for the past 11 years and used often but after tonight I don’t think I will ever use again.

Fish is delicious. Very big portions so lovely take away option for family. Very nice packaging. Unfortunately, didn't get the chips on a good day I guess.
