Came here last Sunday for lunch. Initially was a little disappointed as wasn't aware the smokehouse menu wasn't available on the Sunday (it is only Sunday dinner ) I had the roast chicken and it was delicious , everything cooked to perfection , and flavours very nice! We usually opt for a carvery if going out for Sunday roast but this exceeded expectations and portion size was just right (regular) Look forward to the next visit & may try a Saturday to test out their other food :)

Pie and Vinyl is one of a kind - I’ve popped in to browse the record collection / visit with my daughter who is a music nut, with my Son to watch and listen to Dan Croll who played an acoustic set. Couldn’t believe it when Wendy James from Transvision Vamp fame sang to a small intimate group recently. It’s a friendly and unpretentious place. I still can’t get my head around it. Such a unique and quirky visits; sitting eating pie, browsing records and Castle street and the location is fab too. Do visit you won’t be disappointed.

We always do a Christmas walk along the seafront when we visit family in portsmouth. Today was that day. It’s a big group 11 and we also had all our dogs (6). We went pass and my nephew wanted some chips. The place is dog friendly but we wouldn’t subject a venue to our little tribe so we waited outside. Whilst outside my son (14 years) who has coeliac noticed the gluten free menu and options and was super happy. He ordered the chips and sausage and was made up. The lovely lady who served us came out and gave all the dogs a little treat each. We ordered 5 minutes before closing and I was worried about keeping them open. They were so friendly and didn’t make us feel unwelcome at any point. Lovely food and service. We would definitely return next time we are visiting. Thank you

Bottomless Brunch was just amazing. Lovely caring staff, chilled atmosphere, great cocktails and superb food. Music was fab too!

A huge thank you to Des and his team for the warm welcome we recieved when we came for breakfast today. Nothing was too much trouble. The service, food and drinks were all great. Would fully recommend!

A great selection of craft ales which changes often. Wonderful old fashioned interior.

Food here is always very nice, enjoying the variety they have on offer and the change in foods they have each week. Only problem I have is that it is an open counter so flies can be quite attracted to all the open food. Also Card Only.

As normal, nothing wrong en decent staff. seating is good and quick service. Food and drinks are good as well. Lots to choose.

Went craving a takeaway but was greeted to unpleasant stares from the staff. Service took far too long for just fish and chips with an empty store and food was bland and soggy. Prices were extortionate aswell, overall a bad experience.

Brilliant service , and with a tastecard the price was excellent. Food was well cooked and plentiful and even without a tastecard very good value for money.

Reasonable prices and friendly staff. Food was average. Despite having labelled the menus with numbers to represent allergens, the burger came in a sesame bun, although sesame was not indicated. No alternative bun available. Luckily not a serious allergy for our son. We then were considering ordering puddings but were told that the kitchen had closed at 8pm on a Saturday night.
