The best restaurants serving British food in St Jude Portsmouth South East

Very thankful for the team squeezing us in during a busy Sunday brunch service. I had the Ultimate BLT which lived up to its name, and then some. We were also glad we ordered two of their "Southsea Buns" on arrival (think zesty raspberry coulis and toasted almond butter in the style of a cinnamon swirl), as they'd all gone by the time we'd finished our brunch. Excellent coffee, very flavourful Earl Grey tea. Will definitely return (with a table booking!) on our next visit to Portsmouth / Southsea.

We came with our family on Christmas Day just wanted to say thank you for making the day really special for us all .

Great night out was served by Lewis throughout the night and he was absolutely quality. Everyone drink he made was amazing, Great drinks and great prices

Popped in here on our way to the New Forest from Eastbourne it’s a shame that we are not more local as the food and service were fantastic

Wonderful late Sunday Roast with Jazz!! 6 friends having late lunch at 4pm. Lovely service, extra crispy roast potatoes, pigs in blankets and loads of stuffing and gravy!!!!!!!! Cant remember when last I had such a great Sunday lunch. Thanks to the Sister's team.

Went there with friends. Different way of ordering food, but it worked okay. Portions were generous. Take your own alcohol if you want. You are charged £1 corkage

We had the christmas bottomless brunch here. The drinks were lovely and there was a really good choice, didnt have to wait long for drinks. However the food wasn't great at all, the sharing boards were tiny, we all left feeling hungry still. I feel like there could have been at least another board between us. Two of our friends couldn't make it because of illness and childcare and we lost £20, they wouldn't take it off the bill. Probably wouldn't do another bottomless brunch here.

Ales and food are quite nice. For me it's like drinking and dining in a big hall. Not much atmosphere. And, of course, dogs are allowed, and as we all know ,dogs bark. Very annoying. And their owners think this is great fun and laugh.

We didn't have a booking but luckily they could offer us a 'high table' which was fine. Very helpful staff, varied menu (mainly seafood) and wine list. The food was delicious and we didn't have to wait too long.

Staff were friendly and attentive, perfect location for a coffee break. Ended having ortobello mushroom and egg in a granary roll washed down with a latte was value for money in Southsea. More importantly were the fresh, clean facilities

Good pub on Albert road with polite staff and good service. A little bit pricey but nice atmosphere.

I really enjoyed celebrating Christmas in this pub. Great live music. I would like to highlight the hotel rooms separately. They are very bright and clean, there is everything you need for a wonderful holiday. Also, the location of the establishment itself is very good. Nearby is the sea, the embankment and parks, various entertainment and shopping. I recommend.
