Absolutely love the food here. The chef Jason is a master class chef! He always whips something up that makes me super happy - and I'm vegan

Our first visit to the Silver Hind and enjoyed lunch here. I had bean and lentil stew and the girls had burgers. We were all very happy. I saw they have proper chefs working in the kitchen and it all looks professional. Friendly staff so all in all satisfied. Oh and they do not automatically add service charge to the bill which is how it should always be.

Lovely hotel with beautiful grounds. The staff were extremely accommodating and made us feel very welcome. We missed breakfast in the morning, but the staff very kindly sorted a lovely spread out for us, even though the kitchen had closed. The terrace at the back of the house is a wonderful sun trap and the perfect place for an evening glass of wine. We shall definitely return to this delighltyly tranquil hotel.

We had an amazing experience here! We are always on the hunt for a Sunday roast. Here we got the most amazing sharing starter and Sunday roast. Sitting in the garden with the sun truly made our Sunday perfect. The combination of fantastic service, delicious food, and the charming setting of one of Britain’s oldest pub/restaurants made a memorable visit. Steve and his team couldn’t of done more for us and it 100% has become one of our favourite spots

What a brilliant pub! A beautiful part of the New Forest.. Stunning inside and outside. Easy to park. Delicious food. Generous portions. Great prices for food and drinks. Dog friendly. Excellent staff. Going back tonight for food and Christmas carols.

After a walk around the local area, we stopped for lunch at The Red Lion in Boldre. We both had the Sunday roast option. It was really well cooked, nice and hot and such a good sized portion as to leave us fully satisfied. We accompanied it with a perfectly conditioned pint of Ringwood Best. The service was friendly and attentive. One couldn’t ask for a better way to spend a cold winter’s day.
