If we could put an 11 out of 10 we would do. From the moment we were greeted at the door and coats taken to the friendly waitress who took us to our table and and gave us just excellent service. We started with a beer and expresso coffee while sitting and choosing what to have off the menu. Just to say every thing we chose looked good and was very tasty including a very nice bottle of wine. Plus we didn't feel rushed when we had our coffees at the end of our meal just a brilliant evening. Plus our friendly waitress sings and plays in a local band. Called Peachy Keen . They are good. Just a lovely evening we shall be back. Ken.Cindy

Just celebrated my mums 85th birthday 🎂 in the best way possible with the most fabulously scrumptious afternoon tea at Lady Scarletts. From the wonderfully warm welcome, a beautifully decorated table in the heart of the tea rooms, full of delicious treats, candles and buckets of tea to the fabulous nostalgic wartime decor and music, a truly emmersive experience. Every attention to detail was made to ensure we celebrated in style and had everything we needed xxx Even Barney our faithful hound was treated to his own special seat at the table and treats! Cant recommend highly enough! If you're in Ventnor this is by far the best place to come for some tasty treats and to step back graciously in time with the quirky decor and the warmest of welcomes. Thankyou so much for making our mums birthday a truly magical and memorable occasion ✨️

Went for late opening in Ventnor. Is was quite. Which is a bad sign in my book. Either the food is bad or it’s expensive. I found it to be both. The owner was very unhelpful and look down her nose at us. Not sure who she thinks she is. Not a nice woman at all

Well what can I say, Toni's is a fabulous little tea room located on the sea front. We visited just before lunch as we wanted a snack & a drink. Pobably the best I've visited on the Isle Of Wight, lovely staff, a restful atmosphere and above all, freshly made food. Oh, how could I forget, the beautiful little dog Tolusha, fast asleep on a chair she made her own, bless her. If we are ever back on the IOW, we'll definitely return again. Highly recommended. Having seen people recommend here on Facebook we looked forward to our visit. Whilst the food was okay we felt that price wise, paying £55 for a seafood platter for two it was rather expensive, when the platter was put on the table my son initially thought that it was just his. Plus side the salads were lovely and fresh, no limp lettuce, it all looked freshly prepared. Taste wise the prawns were of the small previously frozen variety, the crab was bland, he enjoyed the mussels and the crevettes were nice. Found it strange that pickle is served with a prawn ploughman’s. Ham in the baguette was average. Paying over £30 a head for lunch , only one course each, not sure if we will return. The gardens and setting are beautiful, with lovely views of the bay. The website needs updating, as prices are very different now.

Kate helped us with catering for two dinners for eight people over a weekend on the Isle of Wight. From my initial enquiry, Kate was incredibly helpful with suggestions for well balanced menus using local seasonal produce. Both dinners were dropped off by Kate at our rental house and we were given perfect instructions to heat up the various courses for both evening meals. The detail and care that Kate put into both dinners was exceptional and everything was absolutely delicous. I couldn't recommend Kate and Angel in the Kitchen more highly.

A wonderful place to eat; such a pleasure to visit and find a place that was so welcoming and being able such enjoy top quality food. Nothing was too much trouble; we had delicious sandwiches freshly prepared from local ingredients. Coffee that was fully flavoured, but refreshingly not bitter. All the cakes were definitely home made; tasting well and looking gorgeous. The cafe was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our first visit, but definitely not the last.

Just a 5 minute drive from the ferry. Very nice food and good service. Would recommend Bettys Brekkie. Fairly reasonably priced.

We popped in for a quick coffee and the service was excellent. We saw lots of orders come out of the kitchen and they looked very good value for money. Covid restrictions and hygiene being carefully followed

6 of us enjoyed fabulous toasties, Sausage rolls and baguettes in the sun, outside this fantastic little street cafe. The coffee was top notch and my daughter loved her Ice tea. The team were very helpful which led to my Mum purchasing some of their local IOW goods from selection of jams, biscuits, alcohol and cheeses. Great value, nice people and perfect location.

Lovely staff, and lovely Vegan Breakfast ! although I wish I didn't get the kids one.(my fault as didnt see the other bigger menu) cant remember how much the child's vegan breakfast was but love a bit of avocado ! The booths were a bit on the small side for me and my partner who is 6'2, but a nice size cafe and can go sit on the sofa if you wish (Batman (1966)) playing on the tv which i thought was nice) Lovely little place, shame its tucked out the way as never knew it was there! 5* for the staff and atmosphere. thank you

We booked for an early Xmas Lunch and had a good meal. Of note the attention and service were excellent, the choices adequate, portion size was about adequate. However, the food quality was not as good as I expected, which then made the value and cost expensive for what it was. the comfort was satisfactory, and the decor pleasant. Unfortunately it wasn't as 'special' as I'd been led to believe, and for me didn't really tick any boxes to want to return, or recommend to others.
