Kate helped us with catering for two dinners for eight people over a weekend on the Isle of Wight. From my initial enquiry, Kate was incredibly helpful with suggestions for well balanced menus using local seasonal produce. Both dinners were dropped off by Kate at our rental house and we were given perfect instructions to heat up the various courses for both evening meals. The detail and care that Kate put into both dinners was exceptional and everything was absolutely delicous. I couldn't recommend Kate and Angel in the Kitchen more highly.

We had a terrific dinner at Angel in the Kitchen on Bembridge High Street. This was our first time eating in their restaurant although we had previously enjoyed their food at various events. The cicchetti and the amazing charcuterie board were fantastic and we were thoroughly spoilt for choice with a really interesting menu. Everything was beautifully prepared and full of flavour, wonderful starters (I particularly enjoyed the tomato, burrata and roasted peach salad) and for the main course my Sardines were beautifully cooked on the BBQ with a really fresh cauliflower "cous cous". My wife had the Poussin which she thought was outstanding (as did other diners by the sound of comments we heard from another table!). The front of house staff looked after us beautifully and helped us through the menu. We will be back and will come very hungry so we can enjoy even more courses!

Kate, Jeremy and their team catered my 60th birthday party in our back garden on 1st July in Bembridge. The whole experience was magnificent from start to finish and everyone who attended was really impressed by both the quality of the food and the service. Kate provided canapes to start and two different paellas, cooked in front of our guests, made Pimms and Sangria and served the lot with a smile! The set up beforehand was painless and Jeremy even turned up at 8am on the Sunday morning to help with the tidying up - we had over 80 guests so there was plenty to do. The quality of the food was really exceptional - from the freshest asparagus, gazpacho, crab toasts, fresh prawns and bang bang chicken to two amazing paellas, a vegetarian option and mixed seafood and chicken. The theatre of Jeremy cooking the paellas was great, and the end product totally delicious, all served in bamboo dishes, so easy to eat with a fork while standing up. The preparation staff were charming, and the two young people who served drinks on the night equally so. All in all a truly fantastic experience, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kate and the team to anyone planning a catered event.

At pretty short notice Kate stepped in and did a fantastic job cooking a big pan paella for 25 people on the beach in Bembridge. Totally professional, delicious food and reasonably priced for the bespoke service offered, Highly recommended, thanks Kate.

The best caterers we have ever had, the food and staff were amazing. We had 28 people including children all raving about the food. We had allergies and all were catered for!

Thank you so much for an amazing celebration meal ( for 16 of us) at Northcourt House. All the family were blown away with the quality of the food and my youngest nephew sampled everything on the menu, as well as eating most of the quail eggs! The whole meal was delicious, as well as the gorgeous canapes at the start and the truly awesome cheese board to finish. Kate was really attentive to ensuring that my vegetarian guests had a good range of choice and they loved the Summer risotto. I would definitely recommend Angel in the Kitchen and Kate and her team provide a very friendly and personal service.

Thank you so much for the incredible food and service on Saturday it was absolutely wonderful and everyone loved it. The day was only as special as it was because of how smoothly you all managed your part and because the food was such a spectacular piece of theatre and so so delicious. The starters received so many compliments and the paella was really fantastic and a complete hit. I saw you all being so lovely to my guests. All the staff were fantastic, efficient and friendly. Angel in the Kitchen planned and organised the food for a garden party we were holding for 40 people. The food was absolutely amazing, canapés followed by a traditional paella which was cooked outside for all to see. The meal was rounded off by delicious brownies. The team on the day went above and beyond to make the occasion very special and contributed to the wonderful day we had. A massive thank you to Kate and her team, I would highly recommend using them.

Angel in the Kitchen were the caterers for our daughter's wedding in Bembridge. We were served canapés, welcome drinks, a three-course table-served buffet and evening snacks. The main course was lobster and salads which were all very tasty, very well-presented too. Staff were very friendly. Many of the guests said how impressed they were with the caterers.

We were very fortunate to secure the services of Angel in the Kitchen to cater our wedding. The pre-planning was efficient, the menus were fine-tuned to our specific preferences and nothing was too much trouble. On the day, Kate and her team were polite, super-efficient and catered the whole day seamlessly - leaving us to enjoy our day. We enjoyed canapes and a charcuterie table at the wedding reception, followed by a sit-down starter, main meal with various side dishes and dessert. A cheese table was made available for the evening. Without exception all of the food was exquisitely cooked, well presented and really really tasty. The staff were fabulous too. I couldn't recommend Angel in the Kitchen highly enough to cater for a function - thank you for a great day!

As we have a house in Spain, we are very critical of paella. In restaurants if you don’t wait a long time for it to come it ain’t freshly cooked. These folk cooked for us at The Max Aitken Museum and I was keen to watch it all coming together on the terrace. Freshly cooked with all the right ingredients and perfectly timed when served.

This was to be the climax of our weekend and climax it was. A fantastic setting for a wonderful paella on the balcony. Excellently cooked and beautifully served. I cannot praise Kate White (the Angel in the Kitchen) more. She made the weekend for us.

We visited the Sir Max Aitken museum as part of a group. The museum was extremely interesting, there were many unique pieces of great historical importance. Brenda our guide was great and told us many fascinating stories and shared lots of her own memories around the museums exhibits and the people it represents. We had the great privilege afterwards of having lunch around the fabulous long dining table in the museum, seated where so many famous characters have sat before. Our fabulous paella lunch looked and smelled superb and indeed was a complete delicious delight. The vegetarian option was an amazingly flavoursome roasted vegetable paella. The chicken and seafood paella was full of flavour including chicken, prawns muscles, calamari and huge langoustines which was an absolutely edible pleasure. Dessert was homemade brownies with fresh raspberries which looked good and tasted even better. The staff were welcoming, friendly and professional and made our day the best experience we could have hoped for. This was a great blessing to our group and was a brilliant experience that we couldn’t fault.

Mouthwatering menu, beautifully presented food, good atmosphere and helpful staff capped off with some interesting wines and chocolate nemesis! Already making plans to return

During the Pandemic Kate White restaurateur, at the Angel in the Kitchen provided us with a few splendid Bespoke Take-outs for special occasions. All of which were brilliantly easy to minimally prep at home and restaurant quality. Then when my daughter decided to rearrange her previously postponed Marriage within the guidelines (30 guests) with a reception at our family home we needed something really special and Kate come up with a magnificent menu of truly delicious food. It was fully prepared and cooked on- site and served by Kate herself, and loved by all our guests. Kate and husband Jeremy really helped to make this a wonderful day. We can thoroughly recommend Kate, the angel in the kitchen. You will be delighted and Kate is able to take care of any allergies without an issue.

We were left to finish off the preparation ourselves (Covid restrictions) and she left detailed instructions so we knew what to do. A wonderful new addition to dining in Bembridge. Angel in the Kitchen has now built on its long standing success in providing high end catering by opening a truly exceptional restaurant. Small and intimate, the restaurant offers a rich and varied menu and you are spoilt for choice. The staff are lovely and very welcoming. We have made several more bookings and can’t wait to visit again.

Somehow, and I know this isn't a normal service, we persuaded Kate to deliver our evening meal. Every day was sensational-the thinking, the balancing of flavours, the presentation, the world tastes and flavours for six of us was a gastronomic delight.The range was extraordinary and when I asked my family for their favourite meal,the diversity was shown, "the beef Wellington.. the rack of lamb,... the Middle Eastern feast... the South American dinner."Not only was the food a treat, but the chance to meet Kate and her family was a pleasure in itself. I can't wait to be back in Bembridge for the re-opening of her restaurant and to watch such an expert at work again. Thank you so much Kate!

Angel in the Kitchen has to be amongst the very best caterers in the Isle of Wight and beyond. During the pandemic emergency, Kate and her talented team have changed direction to offer the island community an absolutely terrific takeaway service. On two evenings a week Angel offers a mouth-wateringly good and varied menu which is cooked to perfection and tastes terrific. The prices are amazingly reasonable and the taste of Kate’s cooking is superlative - all beautifully packaged and presented.The lobster last Saturday was superb!Highly recommended!

Kate and her Team catered for our Christmas Canape & Drinks Party in December. The planning, communication, food and service were all exceptional. I will definately be in touch again for another event and numerous people asked for Kate's details on the night. The brownies are to die for - never have an event without them !!

Best decision We ever made was to put our trust in Kate and Jeremy to handle the catering and staffing of an event surrounding our 50th Wedding Anniversary celebrations. Organisation,Menu options and wonderful options all offered with such professionalism and client care that’s makes you feel so special. The food was outstanding, everyone of our guests were up for seconds and we received nothing but positive comments from guests afterwards. I would not hesitate to highly recommend ANGEL in the KITCHEN to anyone planning events that require a professional service.Words like Outstanding just doesn’t do them justice.

We had a paella party for 100 guests last weekend catered by Angel in the Kitchen. Kate, Jeremy and their staff were exceptionally professional and attentive. The food was delicious, everything beautifully organised and spotlessly cleaned up afterwards. The evening was a tremendous success with lots of praise from our guests. I would not hesitate to use them again!

I cannot recommend Angel in the Kitchen highly enough. Kate prepared a fantastic meal for our family during our stay in Bembridge. She planned a menu for us that catered for my coeliac’s disease and our fussy eaters which meant I wasn’t missing out on anything and everybody thoroughly enjoyed the evening. If we are in the area again we will definitely find an excuse to have Kate come and prepare another meal for us.

From start to finish working with Kate (and Jeremy) was, hands down, one of the most enjoyable aspects of planning and hosting our wedding at Appuldurcombe House. In the run up to the big day Kate was so supportive, not just concerning food but other aspects of the challenge we'd set ourselves of holding the wedding in what is effectively a ruin in a field. On the day itself the food was spot on - delicious, relaxed, plentiful and served by staff who were professional and, just as importantly, seemed to be enjoying themselves too. And those gin, apple and elderflower cocktails were a perfect start to a boozy, fun-filled, sunny day of happiness and love - thank you for recommending them! Our guests raved about what an enjoyable day they'd had, and so many mentioned how good the food was - and how that's not always the case at standard wedding venues with standard caterers. We'd thoroughly recommend Kate and her wonderful team to anyone needing catering services and support - looking forward to planning anniversary celebrations!

Not only is Kate a lovely person, she is also an exceptionally talented chef, and provided the most wonderful food for our celebrations at the museum. While Kate was serene in the kitchen, her team did a fantastic job serving our guests before and throughout the meal. They could not have been more helpful and were highly professional throughout. Our guests were very complimentary about the food and the service. It all made for a wonderful evening.

Kate and her team did the catering for our summer event where we had 60 people in the garden, and it was absolutely exceptional. We had loads of food - canapes, main courses, puddings - which was all delicious, and the staff were really attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We had loads of fantastic feedback from our guests about the quality of the food and how nice everyone was. I can't recommend Angel in the Kitchen highly enough and look forward to working with them again soon.

Kate and her family catered for our family holiday on the Isle of Wight in April 2019 and did a great job.

I used Kate and Angel in the Kitchen for my 30th birthday celebrations at home in February for 19 people at dinner. The team were excellent and the food delicious. Kate was extremely helpful in the build-up with menu planning and discussing what I wanted. I couldn’t recommend more.

We used Kate and Angel in the Kitchen for our wedding catering last summer. We had 75 adults and 6 children in a marquee in a garden. It was a very hot June day and the food was pitched perfectly for this. We'd asked for bright dishes with a botanical theme. Kate served beautiful, fresh and delicious salads with details like edible flowers, with delicious slices of beef. Our guests were very complimentary and wrote to us after to express how much they enjoyed the food!

Highly recommended. Right from my initial enquiry, Kate from Angel in the Kitchen was a godsend. She listened to the brief, made helpful menu suggestions, planned well, kept me in touch and on the night, supplied wonderful staff to our home. The food for a dinner party for 20 was beautifully presented and served - 4 courses - and within the agreed budget. The staff at our house were lovely: very professional but friendly and highly efficient at serving the canapés and pacing the dinner as well doing a ton of washing up!

Kate did a drop off meal for myself and my partner, Irene, for a celebration dinner whilst we stayed on the Isle of Wight. The food was delivered ready for heating, or serving in handy containers. Kate was prompt ( in fact early and caught us having a snooze!) and very friendly and explained all of the elements of the meal and best way to serve etc.

Undeterred by the arctic weather, Kate and her team put on a wonderful lunch party for 70 family and friends. Mouthwatering lunch and brilliant service - Jeremy hope you have thawed out by now! Thank you for another fabulous party.

My daughter and I thought we could have done this ourselves but not so. Amazing canapés, a lobster starter to die for, beef wellington cooked to perfection and a delicious lemon tart. Kate and her team are stars!

Thanks Kate for making our pre wedding party for 30 people extra special at The Prospect in Cowes. Lovely place for a private party. The canapés were all delicious particularly the scallops wrapped in Pancetta and the fillet Mignon with bernaise dip. However the main course was amazing. Everybody loved it. The lobster was served with new potatoes, samphire, buttered radish and aioli dressing. Great combination. Lobster was so delicate and sweet. Food and service rose to the occasion.

Kate and her team provided canapes for 50 and dinner for over 20 people. The numbers at dinner changed at the last minute and Kate was completely unfazed by this. The canapes were absolutely delicious: Bembridge crab, asparagus with hollandaise, beetroot marinated salmon, all superb. The rack of lamb for dinner was cooked to perfection.

Cumpleaños 80 de mi madre de no podría haber sido mejor. Tuvimos una comida para 13 personas en el jardín para comenzar con canapés magnífica incluyendo un maravilloso shot gazpacho seguido de langosta y carne con ensaladas variadas imaginación compuesta. Terminamos con brownies y frambuesas y una gran tabla de quesos! El servicio fue excelente, amable y discreto. We had a celebratory weekend Angel in the Kitchen served two dinners one for 16, then 18 guests. Both meals were served on time and in a leisurely way, we did not feel rushed. The service was very discrete. We were fed in house at Tapnell Manor where we were all staying.

I recently celebrated a 'round' birthday and had 21 members of my family descend on Bembridge. Kate and her team produced and served a fabulous dinner and lunch which everyone loved. The food and service were outstanding and Kate even provided all the plates and cutlery etc. The whole process was effortless - especially for my wife who could really enjoy the party. We could not recommend her more highly and will definitely use her again.

It's the day of the Bembridge street fair and paella was on offer . Have never tried this food before so thought this was the day to try it.I just realised now what I have been missing out on all these years as it was so tasty and a fair price. A chocolate brownie or pineapple for a little sweet which also went down well. Mussels were an added option and also a vegetarian option available. Loved every mouthful and will be back for more.

Kate from Angel in the Kitchen was a dream to work with - efficient at getting back to me and set everything up so calmly and quickly. She catered for a lovely afternoon tea party for 10 of us and the food was absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend!

Kate and her team did the catering for our wedding in July. My husband and I had quite a clear vision for our wedding, which involved show casing Isle of Wight produce such as lamb, tomatoes, cheese etc. We wanted a relaxed but generous buffet of lots of salads and slow roasted lamb - which probably was not straight forward logistically. However, Kate was very accommodating and clearly understood what we wanted. Her food was fresh, delicious and presented beautifully. The staff were very professional, friendly and organised. Isle of Wight has some of the best produce in the UK, but it can sometimes be difficult to find a restaurant / caterer that best represents it. We were slightly lost at sea after our disappointing meeting with the first potential caterer (won't name names) and it was a delight to come across Angel in the Kitchen. We would definitely recommend to others and would use again for sure!

I have yet to experience eating at The Angel in the Kitchen, but I have had the Angel (Kate) cooking in my kitchen and I can thoroughly recommend her! Kate catered for my daughter's wedding - the canapés were delicious, the hog roast was accompanied by a whole array of beautifully fresh and tasty salads and the pavlovas and brownies were simply divine. In fact you won't taste a better brownie than hers. Ever. Also, I have to mention that Kate had a fantastic team with her who quietly did everything that needed to be done - they were charming and all in all everything was just great.

I wanted special food for my 60th birthday party, and Kate, the Angel in the Kitchen, delivered exactly that. She devised a menu to suit a summer's evening, with hot and cold canapés, poached salmon and rare roast beef, and salads followed by chocolate brownies, lemon tart and mixed berries. Imaginative touches, such as hazelnut and orange dressing for the French bean salad and watercress and mustard sauce for the beef, made the dishes stand out. I had 35 very happy, well-fed guests, some of whom went home with a delectable brownie in their pocket for later!

Absolutely brilliant! Kate, Jeremy and her team are fantastic! They make sure that everything is just as you wish and cooked to perfection. The attention to detail is second to none and we are lucky to have her on the island! Kate has catered for us at our private parties many times and nothing phases her - whether cooking for 16 or 80, the food is absolutely impeccable and I will continue to book her to do our parties. I trust her 100% to produce delicious food. Totally recommend Angel in the Kitchen (she has certainly been an 'angel' in ours!!)

Kate and her team, Jeremy and Harry, arranged and produced an amazing meal to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday. They arrived at 6.30pm and by 8pm we had a choice of 10 delicious canapes (the Yakatori Duck is to die for), followed by filet of beef with bearnaise sauce, new potatoes, asparagus and baby carrots. Dessert was caramel profiteroles. Cooked, presented and tidied away - amazing service. The birthday boy was thrilled and so was I!! For a special occasion you can't do better.

Kate the angel uses wonderfully fresh local food to create most interesting and delicious meals. The menu offers a refreshingly small, varied choice. Even the humble scotch egg captures a range of textures and tastes to exceed the best you've ever tasted. Each meal is beautifully presented with a variety of salads, vegetables etc and the whole combination is just as good to eat as to see. The restaurant interior is clean, fresh and light with a warm informal atmosphere. There is time to talk and savour the meal which is served with quiet expertise. Its lovely to meet Kate at the end of the meal. An added bonus is that it is possible to park close to the restaurant and there are no stairs. The opening times vary so its worth checking the website or sign up for e mail information.

I think the owner forgot we were booked. We went with new friends who wanted us to join them there. The beef mince had been very quickly cooked so was hard and still looked wormlike.Fresh pineapple for the next course. The owner wanted to chat with us while we ate. We would never go again.

It advertises as a dining club but on our visit with friends we could not work out the meaning of this.Just average food.

Just back from the IOW. The real gem of the trip was a visit to Angel in the Kitchen in beautiful Bembridge, what an inspired idea, the restaurant's owner takes seasonal food and just creates stunningly scrummy dishes. Its only open for three nights, with we understood with plans for more as word is spreading. It was recommended to us and didn't disappoint the atmosphere and feel of the place is perfect, and simply great service too.One for the list when on the Isle for sure.
