Toni's Tea Room in Isle of Wight

Simply the best on the island. The Cream Teas are perfect. Choice of scone plus a choice of jam. Scone warmed up to the right temperature accompanied by a lovely pot of tea or a coffee. Staff very very accommodating and friendly. Dogs welcome too. What a great place

We stopped by here for coffee and cake on a breezy cloudy summer's day. Close to the seafront with plenty of outdoor seating that was undercover. Coffee was great, flapjack was large but a tad too sticky and sweet for me. Staff were all friendly and service very good.

My friend and I visited Toni’s Tea Room twice while we visited Ventnor. It was so good the first time we had to go back before we left to go home! The chocolate cake and hot chocolate were both delicious. All of the staff are very friendly and it’s in a great location right next to the beach! I highly recommend Toni’s Tea Room!

A perfect spot on the seafront. We sat outside whilst enjoying a beautifully made coffee and home made granola slice. The staff were super helpful and lovely.

Delicious gluten free scones, safely the best I’ve eaten in a cafe. You couldn’t tell they were GF. The staff were very friendly and dogs were welcome. Very cosy little place.

We have been on holiday for nearly 2 weeks and this is our 4th visit. The location on the sea front is just lovely. It is cosy inside, with a rustic charm. They sell gluten free cakes which is great, as 2 of my 3 children cannot have gluten. Dogs are welcome and the lender has a friendly little Shi Tzu. The only negative is that there is no toilet. There are plenty of places nearby for these facilities. If you want a delicious tea, coffee or hot chocolate, with homemade cakes and a lovely atmosphere, then I strongly recommend Toni’s. They also do lovely light bites such as tomatoes and wraps.

My favourite coffee spot, lovely view, great coffee, friendly service. Toni and her staff always make our local running group Ventnor Sloggers feel welcome and my favourite cake is her tasty Bara Brith after a run

We live on the Island and can honestly say that we had the best cup of coffee (flat white) and the most yummy cake ever at Toni's Tea Room in Ventnor today. Try it - you won't be disappointed.

Such a lovely cafe. The staff were really friendly and happy to help. The hot chocolate was amazing and felt like a big hug on a drizzled day!

We was walking along seafront and decided to pop in had two dogs and they were welcomed. We had a latte and hot chocolate delicious and the homemade banana cake was delightful. Staff very friendly . Going back for cream tea as it looked very nice

We revisit Toni’s every year on our annual trip to the I-O-W for truly great coffee and snacks. The staff have always been excellent too. Again this July we called in, had the usual superb coffees and then called in again 2 days later for the same. We then recommended Toni’s to friends who were visiting the Island who then called in for coffee and snacks and they thanked us very much for the recommendation. …..Things then went wrong. We visited on 20th July before lunchtime, went to sit outside on a table for 4 in the sunshine and was asked by a member of staff if we would move further back (slightly out of the sun) as it would make her job easier for her to get about if anybody else came along - we kindly said we would like to sit in the sunshine if that would be ok. She replied it would be ok but it would be better if we went on the table she had mentioned. At this point we said ok, if that’s your attitude we will move on. We then went to the Met next door. We had excellent coffee and the staff were very helpful and friendly - and on the next visit too. I have given 3 stars because the coffee alone is perfection but I’m afraid we won’t be visiting again next year if this member of staff is still working there. I think you may have had an oversite when employing this woman. Sorry for the negative review especially as all week I’d been saying I’m going to give Toni’s a great write up when I get back home!

We were walking our two little doggies along the sea front when we stumbled across Toni’s Tea Room. We were all welcomed inside, as it was a bit nippy! Dogs were made very welcome, as were we and the cream tea and toastie were great! Well worth a visit, truly dog friendly! PS they loved the pup cakes!!

very limited menu but my egg mayonnaise sandwich was excellent plent off filling my wife had thesalmon and cream cheese sandwhich and a gluten free scone the sandwhich she said was excelent and the gluten free scone was yummy all in all a good place...

Not a huge menu but the toasted sandwiches were very nice. Lovely view over the beach if no-one is parked opposite. Throws available at the outside seating and dogs are allowed inside. As someone else has said there are no toilets.

Lovely tearoom with attentive staff and very welcoming of dogs. The only downfall is they do not allow customers to use the toilet instead you have to walk towards the end of the esplanade to use the public toilets there. Shame really.

Toni’s is a welcoming and friendly place in particular if you have a dog. Unlike several Ventnor places which seem to open by appointment it opens every day summer and winter serving excellent coffee and outstanding cakes from 9-5. Lunches are good here as well...
