Another great evening at The Rising Sun - the food was exceptional (pub pie), good beers and really good time at the quiz, which is really good fun. Would highly recommend.

As I was a butcher, I chose the Topside of Beef. It was not. Topside is a rolled joint with fat wrapping. Cooked pink and sliced thin, it is wonderful. Th8s wasn't. Thick cut slabs of overcooked grey meat. Shame as all else was good. The turkey my friend chose was both moist and delicious 😋. Hence a mixed review. Host very welcoming. Noce atmosphere.
