I get my lunch every saturday from Lisa at the Ormkirk market, always tastes lovely, and served with a smile, love her passion for food.

Working away from home and found this little gem, no bells or whistles, good honest home cooked breakfast, food was delicious & no grease, I had the small breakfast and my partner had the medium breakfast, we both had a lovely cup of tea and toast with it. The lady was super friendly. We both had an orange juice and it only came to £11. Everything was clean and delicious, shame we don’t live closer. Can’t recommend this little cafe more for a proper breakfast. Thank you 🙏🏼

There are lots of pubs to have an evening meal in the Lakes, this one maybe has to make an extra effort because it is so far off the beaten track. It takes modest effort to get there, worth it. We had a lovely meal on a Sunday evening, accompanied by good beer. I hate the expression "Gastropub" but the food here is rather better than routine, not a big menu but big enough. Beer (Jennings) excellent. Really interesting ancient interior to this pub. Support it. You will enjoy it. Staff charming

Excellent breakfast, freshly cooked, great cakes and pastries, they make their own pasties and sausage rolls. Warm and friendly service

Had a good day in The Windmill Sports Bar in Tower Hill,Kirkby, lots of family and friends made day of it here. I love the look of this bar,interior is superb, multi roomed, a cool looking serving bar, big screens to enjoy the sport, pool tables which are free to use and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside in their courtyard. We stayed here till closing time,enjoyed beers,vodka's and some whiskies, loved the time we spent in here ,its a bar easy to locate and most definitely well worth checking out if you're in Tower Hill. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from midday.

Great chippy serving great tasting food, staff lovely too, good value compared to some others. Worth a visit.

This was our first outing with a wheelchair and disabled Mum who recently had a stroke. We were so worried and we couldn’t have been treated more kindly. The food was hot, tasty and fresh. Food was packed up for my Mum who only ate a spoonful. The singer was excellent and we had bingo and a raffle and won!! We had a fabulous, stress free day, thank you RBL Halton Team.

Luke's Chippy on Saint Chad's Parade is a brilliant chip-shop that offers a well priced fast food menu. Spotlessly clean with nice staff and always busy'this brilliant chip-shop is an excellent place to go for a fast food meal. We visited here mid-afternoon and we had a large portion of chip's each which where superb and well priced. A superb chip-shop thats well worth visiting and is easy to find from Kirkby Town Centre bus stops it's a minute away.(This is my 2nd review of Luke's Chippy). Opening Hours. We hired Cumbria Gourmet burgers for an event at our house where we had a large number of guests coming. The food was great and the service was brilliant.
