Wonderfully welcoming cafe, staff are so attentive and professional.

Booked to go to house for my friend’s birthday on new year’s eve. Ended the night horribly as the female bouncer attacked me over an issue where my friend had lost her earring and they would not let her back in to look for it. Unprovoked aggression including pushing me and grabbing me by the neck. I have video evidence of her pushing me, and threatening to ‘knock me out’ for standing outside the venue. Horrible lady who clearly gets a kick out of causing harm to drunk vulnerable young women. Even one of the other bouncers agreed that she was horrible. I have attached a photo of her and will be filing a complaint directly. Security are meant to make you feel safe and protect you, not assault you! Disgusting.

I had the pleasure off spending the afternoon/evening at wedding reception here. The food was absolutely amazing. The service was excellent. Would recommend to anyone.

Last weekend the wife and I were in Altrincham doing some last minute shopping, when we stumbled upon “HEX”. How great to have a new place popping up on George Street! They had live music on, a good selection of beers and cocktails (wife enjoyed one too many espresso martini - they were superb!) The venue itself felt relaxed and the staff were really accommodating and friendly. Looking forward to going back and trying their food menu.

Decided to try here as we received a voucher through our letterbox. We pass this place every day but haven’t been in for years. Very glad we decided to give it a go! The food was lovely, I had the Smothered Platter, partner had the Big Stack Burger and MIL had the Chicken and Ham pie. We all really enjoyed it! They also have a £5 day time menu which looks fab! The staff are friendly and efficient, especially Marta who served us our food and looked after us. We will definitely be back very soon! :) Visited on 12th Feb.

This is my favourite coffee shop and I bern going in there for long time now. My favourite drink is Latte . Staffs are very friendly, welcoming, humble and professional.

Terrible start to finish. 2 hours 40 mins to have a meal. Very average food. Incompetent staff. Had to carry pram up 2 flights of stairs because they messed up the booking.

Waited over 1 hour for food..had I known I would have been brought snacks for the kids. Food was reasonable but I wouldn't expect average pub grub to take this long. Admittedly it is Xmas so I understand they are busy but not great place to take when family are visiting, and you have hungry kids. Won't be going again
