Terrible experience. Ordered jacket potato with cheese and beans and the potato was cold! The cheese didn’t melt and stayed hard! What a joke of a food place. AVOID

First time today. Sausage, chips and gravy. Was lovely! Usually I find chippy's too greasy, but here was spot on. Will be visiting again!

Best place in Stocport for breakfast and dinners. Great banter and atmosphere and super value for money. X

stumbled on this cafe while being diverted because of building works. What a beautiful church & lovely welcoming atmosphere. There is also a heritage section for research & small gift shop.

Good meal, we were staying at the local premier inn and ate here. It was a little empty when we arrived at 5.30pm but soon was quite busy. Enjoyed our three courses. I think the starters could have been better but the mains were nice! And enjoyed a Cadbury sundae to finish! We tried the happy hour cocktails and I enjoyed them but maybe could have been tastier. Overall a good evening!! Service good, a bit tired ambience!!

A lovely atmosphere with a great outdoor space. The staff are friendly and helpful. The good is excellent and a really good variety. The prices are good and not too expensive. I would highly recommend a visit. Great for a quiet drink, lunchtime snack or an evening with friends.

Great atmosphere, staff as always are fantastic, helpful and chatty! Food is very good, never fails, huge Sun garden, plenty seating, always busy so worth booking if you’re eating! Thursday quiz always packed and a brilliant fun night with Marty

The food and the carvery service provided by the chefs was fantastic! Quality food and great cooks. However... The head waitress was extremely rude, providing a family of 4 with a table and 6 large chairs. I asked if I could remove one of the large chairs to which I was told, 'can you not just make do?' Not really what I wanted /expected to hear. We ordered 2 kids desserts which we were charged adult prices for and when we were told there was an optional 10% service charge, I decided the experience wasn't worth that additional cost. So the waitress made me walk to the other end of the pub to pay for the meal and it looked as though head waitress was clearly not happy that 10% optional service charge fee was not paid.. and did not try and hide her dissatisfaction. I won't be eating there again, despite very nice food. Improvements needed for the waiting on staff, ideally understanding customer needs.

From a regular weekly Friday night customer to our local chippy. We love our chippy however twice now on 2 seperate ocassions we have had sausages that tasted awful and not been able to eat them. Dont know if they were out of date/old or its what they have been cooked in. Disappointed customer.

Food was amazing first time we have ordered from here. Always a struggle to find a decent chip shop that covers gluten free. Quality if Food was fantastic will definitely be a revisit

Great location , love calling in here after a mountain bike ride around the Roman lakes.

Never been here before but was taken here for a birthday meal and the food was absolutely amazing, fish was light and fluffy with no Greece whatsoever and just a lovely friendly family environment. I can’t wait to come back here and work my way through the menu. The staff are so fast and efficient and very pleasant and helpful. Wish all pubs whet like this, Think I’ve found a favourite for sure. Thank you to all the staff for the amazing food and great service.

We enjoyed a lovely Easter lunch at the Ladybrook today. Once again, the manager, Darren, and the staff were extremely welcoming and made us feel extra special. The food was lovely as always and it's great that there is a senior menu with smaller dishes for those with smaller appetites. Highly recommended for a lovely meal and a friendly atmosphere!
