We visited the pub on Friday to watch the boxing as advertised on the pubs own facebook page only to be told by a girl behind the bar with a stinking attitude that they won’t be showing it now because it’s got too late and walked away before I had chance to question this. Clearly just trying to get some money in the tills as we as a group had spent a fair bit on food and drinks. Won’t be back there again, and I definitely will be letting everyone know to not bother watching sports there as they can change their mind last minute. Luckily we managed to get a taxi in time to watch it somewhere else.

Darren, and the team, at The Ladybook, hosted a wake for our family and friends today... around 40 people. The planning beforehand with Pat and Darren, was caring and considerate, helping the family with a screen tribute to the deceased, and looking after the mourners with consideration and respect. The food was plentiful and varied and appreciated by all the guests, which were of varying ages and those who had differing dietary requirements. Service was excellent and all the staff played a part in making a difficult day as smooth as it could have been. Again, Pat was front and centre making sure the wake area was tidy and enjoyable for all. Thank you again to all the team for making a difficult day memorable and special. I would highly recommend this as a venue for people in the area for similar events.

Came here with my mum and dog today and was honestly so pleased. Such a lovely pub with wonderful staff who couldn’t have done more for me and my doggy! They have a doggy menu with Tyson thoroughly enjoyed. There was play your cards right going on with lovely members of the community having a laugh and good time. It was honestly so nice to see I couldn’t recommend this place enough x

Ngl Pat is probably the nicest landlord I’ve met. She has a great team and the pub works for me as it has lots of little corners to disappear in and enjoy a quiet drink, with a big open area as well for people who prefer that. Good WiFi too - which is not always something you can say in pubs.

I was recommended this pub, so I thought I'd arrange to meet friends for tea. Nice pub and atmosphere but under staffed. Tables wasn't cleared and food was average. I was told by another couple who was sat at the side of us it has a new manager.

Excellent Christmas Day! This was our 8th year as a family visiting the Ladybrook for Xmas dinner - and they never disappoint. The new landlord Darren was an excellent host and his team were truly excellent, attentive, good humoured and constantly checking everyone was enjoying their meal. As to the Christmas dinner - perfect! We tried different starters tapas style and all were excellent - particularly the soufflé. The main course was bursting off the plate, hot and super tasty; particularly the turkey which was really succulent, thanks Darren and team for a great experience - we’ll be back throughout the year but certainly booking in for Xmas dinner next year!

We had our Christmas Day family dinner at The Ladybrook Hotel, the food was lovely, served by excellent, friendly staff. There were 12 of us and 1 baby. Couldn’t fault anything and the atmosphere was great. We will definitely go again.

Went in the Ladybrook for our tea. Everything was as we ordered and served to us in a timely fashion. Abby was a superb server always asking if everything was ok and did we need anything else. Very efficient and friendly girl. A quick mention for Mel And Jack who were also very helpful snd efficient. Couldn’t fault the food or service.

As a family we came in for lunch. Loved the new menu!!! Kasui chicken was great. Only fault was the egg on the all day brunch was hard. Jean was so amazing and very helpful and great with the kids. The rest of the team were great as well. Very friendly and helpful. Will defo visit again.

A pub that has now become a place where the management do not care what type of people turn up. If you want bad / disgusting language and behaviour bordering on the criminal then come to this place.

Brilliant!! We haven't been in for months and so glad we can now pop in again and see Tracy and the friendly staff for a lunch and a drink.

I work as a support worker and brought my clients in for lunch … excellent value for money on a seniors menu … great potion size and delicious food!! 10/10 ! Tracey and Chantelle were very attentive and considerate to our group as all have dementia…. Very professional … would highly recommend anyone to try!! Great landlady, staff and service!!!

I just called in for a pint on the day of the launch of the new menu. We were given tasting dishes of lots of the menu, salt and pepper squid was great (I don’t even like squid) katsu chicken was amazing, nachos a different level, chilli and lime chicken tacos were quality and the buffolo chicken burger was a work of art. Well done chefs Mel & JD and boss Tracy!

Super meal last evening, scampi cooked to perfection by Mel and efficient friendly service from Hollie. Well done to you both. The consistently high standard is very much appreciated by the locals, it is so nice to have a friendly local on our doorstep and appreciate the hard work of all the team.

I love the Ladybrook our local pub. Lara is a lovely friendly girl. Service is excellent as usual, We ordered from the menu and Melissa the chef is excellent.

We had booked for six and were shown to our table promptly when we arrived. The food was good quality pub food with all the "classics" one would expect. I don't normally mention staff but a young girl called Abby was so polite and efficient I thought I would make an exception and do so. We Will certainly visit again

Jacob, Joe and Mike were brilliant bar staff. Served drinks quickly with great humour 👍 They didn’t make us pay a deposit for the pool table and sorted me out with the app when certain people struggled. Great service.

We went to the Ladybrook on the off chance for a meal, we were greeted very well shown to a table and our order was taken in a friendly manner after tracking and trace was done . They had a barbecue on and a singer outside we were only planning on staying for our meal because it was such great atmosphere we stayed nearly 5 hours the staff were run off there feet but ensuring all customers were looked after a couple of times we had a ten minute wait to order next round of drinks. But considering the amount of pressure on the staff they worked very well all round brilliant place to visit will be going again snd would recommend to friends and family well run establishment, if all pubs were run like this we would visit others but unfortunately they are not. Well done the lady brook and thank you for a lovely day my family thoroughly enjoyed it.

After my last review I thought I’d give this place another try to see if the lockdown had given them a chance to buck up their ideas. It hasn’t.Slow service, some members of staff disinterested in their jobs and couldn’t even be bothered to treat people with any respect, and what could loosely be described a BBQ outside that looked as though it was run by one of the locals trying to cadge money off people while the pub was still serving food.Really is off the list of pubs to go to now.

It seems as though it’s forever since we’ve been for a pint in our local. The service is as friendly as ever and they continue to have a good selection of beer. Table service is all they can offer at the moment but this didn’t seem to slow anything downSo good to be back

Had a fab time back in the Brook after the year off. Service was excellent and staff all at the top of their game (in particular, Lara, Cormac and Tracey). Shows that they are good at what they do even after a year off. Pints were serve quickly and Covid regulations all adhered too, felt very safe.

Good food and excellent value, steak cooked just as requested. Staff very friendly will definitely be back.

This pub has really gone down hill. Where to start?We came down for a Friday evening drink and found the following: the gents toilets are a mess, the vault area and the outside were full of people just shouting and swearing in front of elderly customers and families with children and no member of staff told them any different, the service was slow. Good idea to order at bar and get table service. But a bad idea that you wait 15 minutes for your drinks. Table service is non existent as you have to chase the staff for more drinks. It is also very pricey for the service and standards on offer.Go elsewhere.

we have been visiting the ladybrook regularly since they reopened following lockdown. we have found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming, and the distancing and safety measures to be excellent and far better than many other places. A big 'well done' to all the staff x

Having eaten here many times (pre lockdown) we decided to try a takeaway instead. Easy to order and collect. I went for the scampi and whilst it was warm and tasty - nothing beats eating out

Social distancing measures are top-rated - the inside and outside have been thoughtfully re-designed to enable space between tables whilst maintaining a friendly atmosphere. Staff are in excellent ppe - face visors on all customer-facing staff - with dedicated pub safe monitors to ensure toilets and touch surfaces are kept scrupulously clean.Food is as ever of the highest quality, delivered promptly.Nothing is too much trouble for the attentive, professional and amenable staff.

We went to the Ladybrook on the 11th August we had a brilliant time sitting outside in the sun nothing was too much trouble for the landlady and team. They are doing a brilliant job under the circumstances by keeping people 2 Mtrs apart. It’s all about keeping the guests safe snd this is what this pub is doing. The food tasted fantastic would recommend the Ladybrook to anybody who wants to go for a lovely meal lovely service and bring kelt safe well done.

Absolutely magnificent customer service. Very quick and efficient in the circumstances. Have to give enormous credit to the brilliant landlady. She quickly dispersed a young rabble of hooligans, who were not obeying the social distancing rules and being incredibly rude. Credit to her and Up the Ladybrook, I say!!!

One of the rudest pub owners I’ve met. Didn’t understand the government guidelines and lost out on business. Stupid landlord. If you want to deal with an obnoxious owner whilst drinking then enjoy.

My friends and I went to this pub this evening and were rudely shunned out after the landlord refused to serve us for trying to sit on a table of more than four (according to the new covid guidelines). However, other customers, including the landlord herself were sat on a table with six other people, all sat at the same distance away from each other as we were. After questioning the rationale behind this, the landlord became very aggressive and persisted that none of us would be served, ultimately acting in a way which was disrespectful towards the customer. Truly Pathetic.

We usually go elsewhere for our Thursday quiz but decided to try here. It’s well supported with a different format to most quizzes, which is a good thing. It was an enjoyable evening and we’ll definitely come back.

Good local and really geared up for Christmas. The menu was good as usual, but I always seem to pick the fish and chips - but still delicious.

I eat here once or twice a month. The food quality is very good and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly. You can usually park although the parking area is not big, because it is Pay and Display (but customers get a refund at the bar). The pub is a really short walk from Bramhall park/hall. The hotel has the same black and white olde worlde exterior as the old hall, and inside it is a fairly large pub but split into more intimate sections.

Great local on our doorstep. Beers, wines and gins on offer are great and food is very good too. Regular stop off on a Friday evening

Called in for lunch, very nice pub, with plenty of choice, and two main meals for a special price, make it very good value, couldn't fault the food, very tasty, and great service. Well worth a visit!

I eat here quite often with family members. The menu is varied and the food quality is always good. The pub lay-out is interesting with different sections and a balcony. Don't be put off by the Pay and Display. You pay £1 and then get it back when you buy food or drink.

Me and my family love this pub! We always come on Christmas day and the staff are lovely. The food is delicious and always well cooked. I’ve never had a bad experience with The Lady Brook. So lucky to have it in the area!!!

Another Friday evening and we called in after walking our puppy. We made a late decision to try the new spring menu and share a nice bottle of red. I had the gammon and chips, partner had scampi and chips. The food was as good as ever and the service is always good and friendly.

Late afternoon walk with the pup then an enjoyable drink sitting outside enjoying the lovely warm evening. Bank holiday weekend and it appeared there had been a BBQ earlier in the day, we were too late to enjoy that, but lovely evening anyway

This is one badly run establishment bar staff need training to know when people come to the bar I waited 20 min while other people were served before me This is extremely stressful and upsetting won’t be coming back

Was a last minute decision and went in for a quick bite and bottle of wine, would just like to say how great all the staff are, a young lady Meg, was who served us she was incredibly helpful, she went through the wine list and also suggested some food for us, which was also great, Meg also cleared our table for us offering us coffees or desserts, we chose not to get any however she noticed we had finished our bottle and asked if she could get another for us, we quickly said yes to that even though that wasn’t what we had planned, she was also chatty and very lovely, we will definitely be returning upon this experience. The pub itself was very clean and tidy unlike others we had been in around Bramhall.

1 out of 3 of the ladies toilets are shut,2 out of 2 do not have toilet paper and both have a wet floor - needs sorting out as this is a regular occurrance and is seriously letting down the pub as a whole.

Absolutely disgusting food. I had the chicken Piri piri that comprised only two, burnt, tough, chicken thighs and a mound of bread - all for nearly 10 quid. Disgraceful.

Let me explain myself. This is the classic type of pub that i dont like. Big & Characterless. And yet on the few occasions that I drink here, i always enjoy it. Not expensive and decent decor and layout. Big outside area. Its a good place!

Came in for a couple of drinks and some food. Had loads to select from premium gins to cask ales, our server Lara had a great knowledge on all products even when I asked about my nut allergy. 10/10 would go again

We visited for a couple of drinks and ended up staying for food. The bar staff were friendly and knew a great knowledge of the different types of ales that I asked about. My girlfriend decided to want to eat and there was a large range of food to choose from. Our server Lara offered out the popular favourites so we went with fish & chips and the hunters chicken. It was lovely! I will be returning soon!

Despite our last review and as promised please see the attached photographs of the dreadful toilets .I did not go in the Gents , but apparently they are just as bad water on the floor and dirty Thanks for the corporate reply , but they have been like this for years ,despite numerous price increases.

Pleasant efficient and attentive staff, without being over powering. Extensive menu of reasonably priced meals. Never had a bad meal, and all appear to have been freshly cooked and food is hot.

Been here a few times since our first time in December, and we absolutely love it here, it is by far the best pub I’ve been to. We now come at least once a week and get some food which is ALWAYS amazing and we drink quite a lot of the booze (I’m a gin lover and the selection of gins are great, I’m working my through them all) and the staff are always incredibly friendly and lovely, have never once felt uncomfortable/ unwelcome in the pub. We have also been introducing friends and family to the pub who also love it.

Staff friendly , however the disabled and family toilet are a disgrace ,will publish photo's later . Stain ceiling rotten wood door frames , hygiene standards very low . This pub is all about front , behind the scene's well see photographs

We attended the event that was held at the Ladybrook and it was a fantastic night. The drag act was so funny and the atmosphere in the pub was brilliant. What a great night. Well done to the organiser The food was good too :-)

Came here for a meeting was greeted by the landlady who was very friendly I ordered a lime and lemonade and a sparkling water we looked at menu and decided to ordered fish n chips the food was delicious would definitely be coming back

We won a meal here in a raffle. It was good honest pub food and the beer was good. If you are on for football there was a big match being played in the background. The staff were friendly and attentive and there was really nothing to complain about.

Highly recommend this family friendly pub, come here every other weekend and always looked after by the friendly staff, spent most of my Christmas days/nights out at the Ladybrook and had a great time. Good food at reasonable prices and great selection of drinks served with a smile. Usually spend my New Years Eve at home but this year decided to go out for a change and had a brilliant night at the Ladybrook, I will be doing the same again next year!! The back room smells of the toilets, there are never enough staff on so it takes ages to get served and it's the most expensive pub in the area. I'll be making the effort to go elsewhere from now on.

Very festive with Christmas decorations and Christmas cheer. Even when busy staff still remain friendly and always went to provide a good service.

Came just for a quick meal at about 5ish with the boyfriend, was only planning on a pint and a quick meal but the great atmosphere and cold drinks persuaded us to stay till closing, The saff are all incredibly friendly and lovely no matter how busy they get, and also are quick to serve any customer. Will definitely be visiting again, think we’ve found our new favourite pub.

Had our annual family get together in The Ladybrook last Friday 14/12/18. Had a fabulous night. We had booked a table for the evening. Everything was set out lovely on the table on our arrival. The stsff were super efficient with their service of both food and drink. We ate off the Festive Fayre menu. Every meal was spot on and served with a smile. After the meal there was a live act on. It was a tribute to The Greatest Showman. Again this was a fantastic show. There is a real local community feel about the pub and the landlady and staff work very hard at maintaining this local feel. Only last week Tracy ( landlady ) and other business owners in the local area organised a Xmas Market. This was a brilliant day with lots of stalls and amusements etc. It was a real local success story.

Recently visited with my familly for a spot of afternoon lunch and a few drinks. We all left full and thoroughly enjoyed our food which is great value for money! Staff were very attentive and friendly despite how busy they were as its the festive period! We will definitely be returning and would 100% recommend to anyone!

We attended the Christmas Market as stall holders this year. We were made more than welcome by Landlady Tracy and her team. The market was a fabulous example of community spirit and all in a good cause. We are in the Ladybrook after the event, and although very busy, we had excellent food and service. Thankyou to Tracy and her team, customer service was very good despite the fact that the pub was so very busy, and the food was very good too. We will be back for the summer market and definitely next Christmas Market. Thanks again for a wonderful day.

Be prepared to wait at the bar , first choice drink frequently not in stock, prices are expensive for a local, but i suppose its Bramhall and to be expected. Bar staff changes frequently, so not always up to speed.
