Fantastic pub/bistro - landlord /owner waxed lyrically about the food and we were not disappointed, fantastic food, locally sourced produce. Keep up the good work - see you soon ! *This review is our opinion and not influenced by anyone / do not miss this pub!* Praise all your staff

This was our second time dining at 263 and it was just as wonderful as the first. I had a family member visiting and the team had very kindly signed a menu as a little memento - what a great touch! The food was once again incredible with a few changes from the menu on our previous visit - impossible to pick a single highlight but the salt aged beef was certainly the best I've ever had, and the black trompette madeleine instantly unlocked treasured childhood memories of freshly baked cakes - a perfect way to finish the meal. The team were fantastic, a slick but personable service that shows their commitment to the craft. The Sommelier was able to flex her knowledge of wines by expertly helping us select a bottle for the table based on our tastes - never an easy task when there are three people, but it was the perfect accompaniment to the meal. Overall just another brilliant experience from 263 and I'm already excited to return!

Friendly and quick service at the bar, could have had a bit more info about the ales for "strangers in the bar" but it wasn't a major problem.

Me and my husband visited yesterday. We originally just popped in for a coffee as it was absolutely freezing cold outside. The menu was really good so we decided to order dinner. It was hard to choose but I ordered the burmese khow suey and my husband ordered the chicken alfredo. There was abit of a wait but it was well worth it. We both really enjoyed our food. The noodles were insanely good and tasted really fresh. We will defo come back and try other dishes 😊

Popped in before visiting the museum, very limited number of sandwiches although a nice setting and certainly ok if you just need a drink.

Excellent quality ingredients. We had a bacon roll and a sausage and bacon roll with an extra hash brown which we added on top on the roll. Crispy bacon, perfectly cooked sausage on a crusty roll. Have been back to the train station since just for this. Latte was ok too.

Seems to have improved a lot. I hadn't been for a while as it wasn't very good the last time I visited. I recently went in as a last minute plan and was pleasantly surprised. Looks like there may have been new staff taken on. All the tables were clean and tidy. The food came out hot and to a good standard. Good value for money.

We arrived early but were seated straightaway. We were offered drinks and the menu. We ate from the 2 courses menu for £26. Starters were crab donuts (a little fishy tasting if you know what I mean) and brisket croquettes were quite tasty. Mains was steak and frittes and sea bream with crushed potatoes and park Choi. However the pak choi was very over cooked and limp and not drained properly so spoilt the goats cheese veloute , making it very watery. Deserts were strawberry crème brûlée - highlight of the meal and passion fruit tart. All dishes beautifully presented and service very good.
