Lovely little coffee place - quiet and very welcoming. The coffee was lovely (nice and flavourful, not burnt or bitter), and the food was amazing - the truffle hash browns were to die for, and the French toast with bacon and maple syrup was delicious. Would definitely recommend and return

I’ve been going to brew+bake every morning and afternoon since I found out about it. It’s the cutest, most aesthetic cafe in Preston. The quality of their coffee and food is incredible, but the staff are really what makes it incomparable to any other cafe I’ve been to. I would recommend it to anyone, with children, or without, without hesitation!

Don't bother visiting Brew and Bake if you have young children. The way my daughter and I were treated following some spillages was disgusting. I profusely apologised and asked if I could clean it up. I was refused and was told to "make sure" my child doesn't spill something again. Terrible customer service and terrible staff attitude. Avoid.

Excellent breakfast and brunch with high quality food products!

Went on a very busy Saturday for breakfast. Food took 45 mins to come (This is fine as it was so busy), however most of the food was cold or just warm. The bacon was not good and was left by both of us. Shame as last time we visited it was very good. Also is was not cheap.

We always have an amazing breakfast/brunch at brew and bake so decided to go for their evening menu, the pistachio lattes were amazing and the pizza was delicious! Also amazing service from the gentleman that served us (we came in this evening at around 6:30pm)

We went for a late Saturday lunch. I had the garlic mushrooms on sourdough and my partner had the smoked salmon filled croissant. My mushrooms were really flavoursome and perfectly cooked, not too creamy. My partner felt that there was a lot of cream cheese but not much salmon in his croissant. Overall great place, friendly, attentive staff with a clean environment and stylish. I’d definitely recommend this place.

A very welcome, smart coffee & lunch venue for Preston, majoring on Lancashire produce. Stand-outs: staff are pleasant, polite a good at service. Kitchen and food: i just had scrambled eggs on toast & tomatoes: delicious. Can commend.

Friendly staff. Top-drawer coffee and excellent food. I went for the veggie breakfast, you get an enormous amount and it was really flipping good. Particularly enjoyed the veggie sausages, sweet tomatoes and veggie black pudding. Everyone else seemed to be enjoying the food and it's a really pleasant atmosphere.

Food and drink amazing but the staff seem to view customers and their requests as an inconvenience. More interested in chatting amongst themselves, clearing tables that have no customers before tables where customers have just come in (other tables weren’t available at the time), telling us they don’t have filter coffee (but ‘we can do you an americano’ as though it was a favour) despite this being on the menu and the coffee being on top of the machine… The place overall felt tense, far too warm and generally quite messy. I’ve been in twice over the past week - once on Wednesday with no issues and now on Saturday - assuming it’s a different group of staff… A real shame considering the quality of food and drinks - this could be an amazing place for preston if the service were more consistent.

We've been coming to Brew Bake for some time. They're a great destination for coffee and brunch for us on our busy Saturdays. The best coffee in Preston and fabulous vegan breakfast (small or large). Lots to choose from here. Lovely cakes 💚 The new premises suits all and has lots of space over 2 rooms. You can even plug your laptop in, stay to study, while having coffee and cake 😊

A bit hit and miss for brunch!! I ordered the scrambled eggs with a side of smoked salmon as I saw someone’s go past looking delightful. The eggs were unfortunately a bit congealed and dry, a bit over cooked despite looking promising (maybe they were sitting under a heat lamp after being ready?). The smoked salmon looked like it had been cut directly out of a packet and dropped on the plate, with all the layers still stuck together haha. Matcha oat latte was yummy! My partner enjoyed his broughton banger (big sausage and egg muffin) and the egg was cooked fab with a runny yolk. We think they served his muffin with two muffin bottoms though? Or it was one very big muffin! They do also tend to forget drinks orders or run out of ingredients. But overall the staff are really friendly and we do like coming. So will try and pick another dish to try next time!!

Coffee is delicious. Full English is delicious. Cakes are just as delicious. The atmosphere is so C H I L L. Highly recommend when you're feeling stressed and want to unwind. R x

Pleasant and roomy café in a relatively café-sparse section of City Centre. It was a great place for me to sit and work, but it closes too early — I would go more often if were to stay open until 8 or 9 pm. Assortment of light dishes, salads, pastries, serving a Czech lager on tap in addition to the coffee beverages.

Loved everything, from the friendly staff to the scrumptious Buddha bowl (adjustments made with no issues upon my request) to a great selection of food and drinks

The place has a great feel .I've been a few times after our first experience was good .But on the 2nd time are breakfast came 20 minutes after our drinks .Next time they gave us drinks that was half full in cups that are not big to start with .Then the next time we thought get a bacon barm they can handle that ,no drinks 5 minutes bacon 15 minutes later ,ɓring them out together please it ain't hard.We sadly will not be going back ,which his a shame as we took all the family in and recommend after the first time

We went to Brew and Bake for the advertised £12 Friday pizza and drink. We were told on arrival that the menu had been updated and this wasn’t being offered anymore so we ordered from the new menu. The food was delicious, but my daughter ordered a pizza and asked for ( the advertised) vegan option. On arrival she questioned whether it was vegan, to be told it was. She didn’t eat it all and the next day I had a slice of it and it was definitely not vegan cheese on it. My daughter had been up all night with tummy problems. Tonight - 7 weeks after our visit , my youngest daughter and her friends went to B and B for the £12 pizza and drink option. They assumed that after al this time the menu had been updated . They were told that they weren’t offering this. They should have walked out, but were too polite/ embarrassed. I suspect Brew and Bake intentionally haven’t changed their online menu to attract people in on Friday nights 🤔

We had a really enjoyable experience here. The food was delicious, cooked to perfection and was reasonably priced. The place was spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly what's not to like?

Nice breakfast but 45 minutes is a long time to wait for a plate of food? The ingredients were good quality and nicely cooked but I had finished my lukewarm filter coffee within minutes of sitting down at my table. I think they could have given me a complimentary top up as they told me that there was a 20-25 minute wait for hot food. I don't like the idea of adding a gratuity when ordering your food at the counter as you may be disappointed with your experience. To be fair it was Mother's Day so perhaps it was busier than expected but an experienced chef could easily have dealt with the backup of orders.

Lovely atmosphere and the coffee is delicious! Our food was really lovely, not especially mind-blowing (hence 4 instead of 5 stars) but delightful non the less! I had New York French Toast and my Partner had the Broughton Banger (a muffin with egg, hash browns, sausage). Great location and would recommend.

The bread was lacking butter but apart from that was so good!

Good coffee but one of the worst eggs hollandaise I’ve had. The waiter also mixed the order and gave bacon instead of salmon.

This coffee joint next to my office is my go-to spot for a caffeine fix or a tasty treat. Their carrot cake is to die for! The vibe is super chill, and the staff are always friendly and on point. If you’re in the area, definitely swing by for some good vibes and even better coffee!

Arrived 10 minutes after opening and was greated with warm service, great coffee and a delicious breakfast. Always a brilliant start to the day.

Wonderful brunch at a very reasonable price. All good cooked fresh to order - but worth the wait. Don't bother ordering the 'extras', sufficent on the plate and, unlike the stated meals, not worth it.

Lovely Full Lancashire and Sourdough with Avocado!!!

First time having breakfast here and we couldn't fault it. From start to finish it was a superb experience. The best breakfast we've had in a long time ( I had the Lancashire) It will not be long before we go again. Well done!

Absolutely excellent venue. Brew and Bake serves delicious food at a good price in a friendly, amibant atmosphere. The decor is modern and light. The wc is the best I've ever used. I've absolutely no hesitation in recommending Brew and Bake.

Went for Brunch on a recommendation and it was lovely. It seems to attract a lot of office workers who are in the surrounding buildings but it has appeal for all plus it has great opening hours from 7.30am to 8pm so would also be great for tea. Very modern, comfy and clean

Finally, Preston boasts a café that truly meets the mark. My first visit today left me thoroughly impressed. Coming from a country where good quality coffee and a pleasant environment are standard, I was so delighted to finally see a place in Preston that meets these expectations: excellent quality coffee, delectable food, amazing and professional service, and a beautiful, clean environment. This is quite rare in Preston, where most places have sticky tables, and the staff's cleaning methods often leave more mess on the chairs or floor. Here, each table was cleaned promptly and properly within seconds after customers left, leaving it spotless. Another important aspect is the staff's natural politeness and ever-present smiles. This café is also a fantastic place for work. I really enjoyed my coffee, lunch, and the calm of reading my book. It's definitely my new favorite spot in town.

This is an unreal cafe/bar, lovely cakes and their full English is lovely! Service always incredible, cannot recommend enough!

Absolutely delicious!!! Didn't know this little place existed. It is very nice inside. Perfect for group meetings or just a catch up. There are two rooms to sit in. It has a very warm and cosy feel. The food was just delicious. I ordered a veggie breakfast and I was not disappointed in the least. Polished every last bit. Teapot gave me 3 cups out of it. One thing I hate is a pot that only does one fill. Service was fab. I cannot fault at all. Will definitely be visiting again.

We've been visiting Brew+Bake for brunch for a while, but finally got round to trying the evening menu last night. Are we glad we did! It was outstanding. Delicious pizza with generous portions, very reasonably priced. The service was excellent, ensuring our drinks were topped up. The atmosphere was perfect for a Friday night, with a singer who struck the perfect balance of performing well in the background of our meal. We thoroughly enjoyed and will be back.

Best pizza I'm preston in my opinion. Had the goats cheese pizza and the P.I.G...both brilliant and packed with toppings. Good selection of wine. Had a live singer on and she was really good. Service 10/10. Would 100% go back again!

Coffee taste’s alright but the smallest large coffee in the area. Definitely don’t get your moneys worth especially when you have four members of staff chatting and yet taking 7 minutes to make a takeaway latte.

The place is very clean and great they serve a delicious food as well as coffee, sometimes they make music night which you can come drink and enjoy the live music night. Best place in Preston in my opinion

Hands down the best breakfast I’ve had and I’ve been to a lot of breakfast places. Do not change what you’re doing. The ingredients are quality, fresh and always comes out hot. Sausage and bacon is top quality, the eggs are always creamy (bet you put crème fraiche in), even much prefer the cherry tomatoes instead of the standard boring uncooked tomato.

Absolutely love brew + bake, it’s the perfect mix of guilty pleasures and balanced eating! I’m always trying to eat healthy but this doesn’t appeal to my partner. I ordered the Buddha bowl salad (Devine) and he had a full English. I often feel like salads are an afterthought at restaurants but not at brew + bake! The salads are amazing well balanced and there’s plenty of treats for my partner too! Would definitely recommend- haven’t found anywhere better that suits us both!

This is my favourite spot in Preston for a tasty balanced dinner! I’m trying to eat better and usually at other places it always looks like the salads are an afterthought and they’re rubbish. Not the case at brew + bake. The budda bowl is delicious and my partner can get his usual lunch too. So we’re both happy! Food is always great here and the new setup looks great too.

Stunning place! Visited during a week day and spent a few hours working here. Food and coffee were delicious, friendly service, and a nice and quiet environment to work from.

This is our 4th or 5th visit to brew+bake and as usual it's been ace. Great atmosphere, beautiful food and wonderful service. Thanks to Grace who is always super smiley, attentive and knowledgeable. Scrambled egg on sourdough is a winner and the BEST decaf flat white with oat milk !!! Frank aged 7 "Broughton bagel... yummy" !!! Cant wait to come back soon !!

Food was lovely when it turned up but over 5 minutes before they realised 2 orders and the drinks (which they got right after asking) were missing, poor organisation 😔

Ate and had coffee in the old place, enjoyed the new place BUT. One item on the menu that I really love and the reason I went today is Eggs Benedict. Horror of horrors! Today's menu had sticker covering that one item. Everything else was available. I asked the staff and was told. "We're short staffed so that's off the menu", just that item mind, everything else available. Don't you hate it when people think you will swallow a blatant lie. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO THROUGH THE DOOR. Never check the reviews either these days. Expected some comment but it sums up the entire situation. If you treat customers with contempt you will soon lose them.

Nice place, there were no poached eggs available for the breakfast we ordered. Also the bacon was over cooked. However the rest of it was lovely and the scrambled eggs, although not my first choice, were excellent.

A very good cafe in Preston I think is one of the best places to chill, study and enjoy a cup if tea of coffee and eat as well. The staff is very polite and friendly. In addition the cafe is very clean and modern. Definitely I will visit more frequently :)

The new location is gorgeous. I've been going to Brew + Bake since it was in the markets at the front and then to the left of where you enter. It was my first time going last week and I paid £5 for a sausage barm. I don't mind paying that if the quality was good but the quality wasn't a patch on what it used to be. The quality of the sausages has definitely changed which is quite sad. This used to be one of my favourite places to go - not just in Preston but in the UK. It's sad that the food quality seems to have slid. I won't be going again in a hurry and if I do, I'll be avoiding the food. Three stars because of the ambiance and the coffee is still good.

While the food was lovely the customer service was appalling. Waited anywhere between 45 minutes to over an hour for food to arrive. The first of us had finished eating by the time the last meal arrived. No warning of how long food would be & no apology for the delay. When asked how much longer we would be waiting we were told they were busy & if we’d booked a table we would have been served quicker? Won’t be returning.

I’ve recently had an awful experience with B+B, which really is such a shame because I’d previously had a lovely couple of experiences there. I was booked onto a journaling workshop which was being held at B+B - the workshop was due to be hosted by a third party girl, but B+B had been booked to provide the venue and serve us with food & drinks, essentially like an events package. The event was due to start at 6pm on a Friday evening, so I’d rushed to get ready after work (and the other attendees had similarly made arrangements for childcare etc, and also made their way to B+B). As we arrived, our workshop leader told us that she’d received a message from the manager at B+B, at only 4:30pm that day (so only 1.5 hours before the event was due to start), saying that he’d been ill for the past day. He offered to stay open for us but it sounded like a chore. He also announced at the same time that they no longer had a pizza chef, but that he could make us some pizza & salads. (1) why didn’t he tell our workshop leader about his illness at the very start of the day? Why leave it until 1.5 hours before the event when he’d known for hours? The lack of professionalism and awareness of people having made arrangements is astounding. (2) why ‘sell’ us a proper meal with the workshop, when they had no pizza chef? The workshop never went ahead because the service just wasn’t there, but we’d all already arrived by this point because it was so late in the day. The icing on top of the cake is that he never even gave us an apology when we arrived. The 5 of us were sat there waiting; it was like the elephant in the room. It was incredibly unprofessional on a business level, but also so rude on a personal level. We’ve heard nothing further from them since. We all used to come on a social level too (not just for workshops) - safe to say, none of us are planning to go back for either.

We have been a few times in the past couple months for food and drink and every time we have come away very disappointed. On one occasion we were served two stale toasted tea cakes, which were cold, and waited half an hour for a slice of carrot cake due to the staff leaving it on the side claiming we had ordered it to take away. Another occasion we waited 30 mins again for some scrambled eggs on toast and poached eggs on toast. The toast was not buttered when it came, poached eggs were actually hard boiled and the scrambled eggs tasted like old cooking oil. Such a shame as the vibe of the cafe is lovely but disorganisation and poor quality of the food mean we will not be returning.

First time trying this place for our regular Saturday brunch in town with the little one. Was well impressed with the decor and general vibe, trendy looking place and decent size with plenty of seating. Myself and my partner ordered The Full Lancashire with optional black pudding and I had a cortado to drink. Have to say this was hands down the best Full English I’ve had in or around Preston in a long, long time. Really smokey bacon, plump juicy sausages and the scrambled eggs were perfectly done. We had a couple of issues with missing items but the staff sorted these with little fuss and the food itself more than made up for the initial frustration. The cortado as well was exceptional, couldn’t fault the coffee or the food at all.

Chicest place in town! We had the pleasure of hosting our Mother’s 60th surprise birthday here which was amazing. Homemade pizzas and buffet style food, catered for all dietary requirements and the staff went above and beyond. Special thank you to Patrick for all of his help throughout! Highly recommend ⭐️👏🏽

Nice decor, good choice of drinks and food. Food was tasty and the service was nice too. Felt quite cold in there but otherwise was a nice visit. We would go again especially as they had decaf and gluten free options.
