Great tapas menu! We went on a busy night and had to wait for food, but was worth it.

Amazing experiance in the heart of Preston for those people that like to be made special and receive value for money. Warm welcome, amazing high spec venue, serving high end quality food and drinks served by extremely efficent and professional staff. The entertainment provided on Saturday evenings is an added bonus and definately on par with London and Manchester. X highly recommended

It was interesting. Not been in some time and the whole menu has changed out from bar / al a carte to Tapas fusion style. There were some interesting items and the staff were great and motivated despite it being pretty empty at 7 on a Friday. A good spot.

I have visited the Corn Exchange bar in Preston in the past. However I have not visited it recently though I do walk past it on a regular basis. It is a good bar and also serves food. It is a large bar with a large floor area and it has very nice modern toilets! I would recommend a visit to the Corn Exchange bar in Preston.

just went in the Corn Exchange for a drink. The last time in I went through those doors it was the Public Hall. Very spacious but beyond the outside doors is a wonderland, Alice through the looking glass etc. We sat outside on a rainy afternoon the staff were wonderful, switched on the heaters brought cushions and throws. We had cocktails which were amazing, gin and mixers also amazing and food, nothing was too much trouble

No había Crunch y no calidez.

Although the food was extremely plentiful for the price, the surroundings were very "old pub"ish and the only other people in the venue were students... its more a students kind of a place than for families. What we ate was very tasty.

Never before have I had a portion of fish and chips that looked so tasty, only to be so utterly vile on the tongue. The texture of the fish was neither flaky nor chunky. It was like eating fish flavoured mucous. Utterly revolting. The clientele are noisy and loutish, and the bar turns the music volume up to drown them out, which only makes them scream louder. Terrible venue, terrible food. Avoid.

I only write reviews if somewhere is really good or really bad and unfortunately this is the latter. My husband and I fancied a quick drink and a game of pool last night so we went upstairs where there were two pool tables occupied. There were no cues available, but a few behind the bar (which was closed) so I waited at the bar for someone to come and get me one. A woman (about 30 years old, grey top, ponytail) came upstairs and saw me waiting but didn't say 'how can I help you?', but instead walked all around really slowly collecting glasses. I reached over the bar to get a cue and she went absolutely mad having a huge go at me in front of everyone. You'd have to have been there to understand how appalling her attitude was towards me, and other customers looked shocked at how I was spoken to. It's a shame as the other bar staff downstairs seemed lovely. I have honestly never been spoken to like that by someone working in hospitality and I'm still fuming, hence me writing this review. Safe to say we won't be returning while she's working there.

The pub is quite big with an upstairs and a great beer garden.Several TVs scattered about inside and outside,Gets really busy on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.A wide and varied menu which consists of typical pub grub which I have always enjoyed.Well worth a try if your in the area.

Had a great steak and chips with perfectly fried onion rings, and all for under a tenner. Beer was great too - and only £2.50 a pint. I gave the barman £3.50 thinking I'd misheard! Friendly fast service and the football on TV, too. Look no further when in Preston.

Often eat here with my partner and young son and have not once been let down. Every time we have been the staff have been friendly and welcoming, listen to requests (partner has allergies so need to be specific with food) and have a good knowledge of their menu. The food portions are very generous and excellent value for money, always served promptly and presented well. I have also visited a few times on nights out and have been met with the same service and friendleness. I couldn't say anything about the place!

After spending a lovely but tireing day looking round Preston town centre, we decided to have a meal before setting off back home. The Old Corn Exchange building caught our eye, as it is victorian architecture at its finest, but is now a pub that serves food. We were greeted by freindly staff and ordered Ribs of the menue.. There is no exageration when i say ' i have never seen a full rack of ribs on a plate for ONE person, along with fries, tomatoe, onion rings and peas. cost...£10.25if you ever find yourself there... order only ONE and share... i wish i had, we both could nt finish the ribs and the fries etc were left as the meat feast beat us both. And 3 times the staff came over to ask if everything was OK.. brilliant

Not a fan of bottomless brunches in general, only went for my daughter’s birthday. The food was so horrid it was actually amusing, I thought it was our complimentary starting platter , not a main meal to share with 6 of us 😂 chips, spring rolls and small pieces of chicken that looked and tasted like icelands’ finest. If you’re going for the food don’t bother 😂 The drinks, atmosphere and service top notch though, the bingo is good fun, time flew by. You get your monies worth with the drinks alone, glasses were never empty. Up the food quality and portions and this place will do well.

We went in yesterday lunchtime and spoke with the staff. The pub/restaurant has been reopened about 3 months, there is a comprehensive menu and the roast beef baguette the wife had was the best she has ever had. The people eating were very complimentary about everything else. The staff were very welcoming and we will be going back today for lunch, well worth a visit.

I came for a Birthday meal. The staff reserved a selection of tables ready. The staff are friendly and helpful. However, if you don't order the carvery, food takes a long time to come out. Some of our guests waited up to 40 minutes for burgers and pizza well after everyone else had eaten. Also, the air con either doesn't work or wasn't on and everyone was uncomfortably hot. I presume the air con doesn't work as it looks terribly old looking and the walls had water stains from condensation. There's no windows to open and it made it an unpleasant experience. Aside from the heat and the slow service, there wasn't any other complaints.
