Costa Coffee in Preston

Been there a couple of times with my baby boy on match day when it’s really busy and have been so helpful bringing me my drink (at their suggestion, not my request) so I don’t have to leave my baby even though they were super busy. Friendly staff, quick to clean up and yummy coffee. Definitely recommend!!!

The atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The environment is clean, although the music can be a bit loud. It can get very busy, and there are limited seats. Overall, it is a great place to visit, whether alone or in a group.

Toasty only toasted on one side, store appeared grubby, toilet smelly. Not impressed

Order never arrived!! Apparently it’s still being prepared at 8pm? When it closes at 6pm?

Its a clean and tidy shop , staff are friendly and helpful . Definitely go again

Toilets are not clean without toilet tissue. 1 small awful earl grey tea . 1 small latte .1 pack of small waifer biscuits £8:30 McDonald's in future I think

Only giving one star as I ordered a large drink and they sent me a small one. There's no way I'm going to have to pay over £10 to get another order delivered.

Delivered to wrong house. Had not read instructions. Drink was too. Sweet despite asking for non sugar very little syrup. Instructions ignored. Toastie was inedible put in bin.

Toilets disgusting….. sanitary bin overflowing. Not the first time. Don’t think they are checked as regular as the sign states……

Had a smoked bacon barmcake and a salted caramel chocolate Brownie for dessert, which were both delicious.

It's a Costa.. what are you expecting?

Two people bring back their coffee and hot chocolate because they were warm. I was expecting a wet cappuccino. Still trying to find the milk. Medium asked for lol no need to be an inch off the top. I understand Batista's need to be trained not at lunchtime.

It's a Costa what else can I say. They are all the same. No background music. Very quiet

The place was dirty chairs full of crumbs don't think they have ever been brushed at the back at all , dirty tables floor dirty ,the toilet was awful it smelt of stale wee tissues on floor not good ,there were two member of staff on ,it wasn't busy they could have been cleaning tables sweeping or cleaning the toilet would be good I don't think it was just today's mess on the floor as the matt in the doorway was filthy ,won't be going back just glad I only had coffee

Came here on Mother’s Day with my mum and 2 kids. Can’t really go wrong with a Costa coffee. I had a latte and a Victoria sponge cupcake

Asked for sausage bap and was given bacon and cheese which I was unable to eat as it had cheese om.

The only thing I have to complain about is don’t get the beans for the Costa app

Poor service been waiting since 9:40am for it to arrvie at 11.02am. Once arrived it was freezing and undrinkable. I dont know where the marshmallows went presumed sunk to the bottom! Not happy at all.

Food and drink were both cold, no toppings on latte, not worth £4.50

Costa please give training to Nathan and at least teach him how to speak to customers. It was completely inappropriate way spoke to me. And there was no need for it .would never again. Will raise the complaint further as well.

Fast and good service, but could do with a more regular clean. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming.

Very good customer service but my support worker asked for a regular latte with oat milk but instead she got a large normal coffee with oats milk but I would recommend the strawberries and cream frappe very nice and refreshing would be definitely getting it again

Looked forward to a coffee after lockdown but oh dear Costa, you need to improve your practices. Tables not cleared, no in between customer cleaning of tables or chairs, crumbs and food debris on floor and toilet grubby. Unfortunately, as much as we love our Costa coffee, we did not feel safe in these times.

I popped in here to meet some people for a catch up. There is plenty of parking. Great value, as it was eat out to help out. We could not have more than 4 people sat together, so we had to split our group up slightly.

Went in, all organised due to Covid-19, all staff had masks on and was always did sanitisation after each customer. Drink was good - Enjoyed a coffee out rather then my home!

The staff in this shop are absolutely disgusting and have clearly have not been trained in the basics of customer service. The government eat out to help out started today and the staff did not have a clue what was going on, which is very poor. Firstly, they have 5 tables and that is it, and will not allow you to buy a half price drink unless you are at one of the said tables, which is ridiculous as they haven’t got a time set as to how long you can sit at one of the tables meaning people will have to wait a long time. Secondly, once a table eventually became available, after a long wait stood in the entrance of the store, causing a blockage, they didn’t even sanitise the table between customers, which is disgusting in this current pandemic. Leading on from this, I ordered a drink, and was then told I couldn’t pay with my Costa points, which isn’t stated anywhere and could cause some serious confusion. My mum purchased a chocolate frostino and it was served in an extremely small glass, pretty much half the size of the usual drink. Therefore, you may be paying half price, but you are only getting half the drink, and bad customer service, so it isn’t even an offer anyway. I have attached the picture of the shocking size of drink that we received, I believe that Costa are fraudulently taking part in the government scheme as they will be claiming half the money back from the government, but only giving half the drink away, therefore making a profit out of the governments scheme to try and help businesses that were effected by the virus. I will not be coming back to this store as I have been left extremely disappointed with the service and goods that my mum and I received.

Usual Costa experience, but the Barista seemed to be taking out his anger removing the coffee grounds, it was so loud it filled the cafe and the person serving had to keep repeating himself. My wife even commented on it when I returned to the table. There is no need for this.

Always love to visit this Costa, friendly staff and great service 👍 Newly done up, a great place to chill and connect.

I met friends here for lunch. One of my friends told me that I had a choice of cheese & tomato toastie or cheese & cranberry (as I’m vegetarian). I told him I’d have the cheese & cranberry. We sat at a table & one of the young female staff brought our toasties over. She asked who was having the turkey & cranberry toastie. It turned out my friend had misread the packaging. I told the young lady that I was vegetarian but I was left with the toastie anyway. I went up to the counter to buy another toastie minus the meat. Nathan the manager served me. The young lady staff member told him about the mistake with my friend misreading the other toastie packet. Nathan immediately told me he would replace it for free, no problems. Great customer service! Thank you Nathan!

I ordered my coffee on Sunday 11th November and the girl making it made it incorrectly having not listened. I then asked for a fresh one to be made and she signed loudly, the manager was next to her and he said nothing about her terrible attitude. She also looked grubby with her hair all over the place and blouse open too low.

Decent chain. Clean, friendly service, nicely helpful, usual range of hot chocolate, tea, coffee, cake, biscuits, toss ties etc.

this costa is scruffy with every table littered with dirty crockery with the 3 members of staff on duty making no attempt to clear the tables.customers who attempted to clear the tables had no where to put them.The sausage bap i had was nuked to death and represents very poor value for money next time in deepdale i will go up market and go to mcdonald’s

We’ve been to this Costa a lot and previously the service, cleanliness and general quality of the coffee has been hit and miss! However in the last 3 visits we have seen a significant improvement in service, quality and consistency. The management team are new and they are always happy to serve and have made a big difference! Well done team.

I'm a regular visitor to Deepdale Costa. New team in place have made a massive difference. Store is very clean and tidy, and there is always a warm welcome. My drink of choice is Skinny OPS latte and it's always made perfectly. Staff always have the time for you Would highly recommend when you need a break from shopping

Bien me encanta estar aquí. A veces me visitan regularmente - 3 visitas en la misma semana, por una variedad de razones. Sí, está ocupado. Y a veces personal priorizar sirve clientes mientras mesas necesitas clearing como es una respuesta rápida, es un desafío. Raphael es siempre sonriente y amable y 'Multilínea tareas'. Bien hecho equipo!

Pasó por tener un bocado, oh cielos parece ser bastante sucios estos días. Aunque ocupado la chica me atendió rápidamente, y la sandwichera era caliente y sabrosa. Sin embargo mi moka ordenados era bastante débil y no cómo normalmente tienen en otros costas, probablemente porque la chica lo que estaba aprendiendo. No es el estándar de Costa y no te molestes con el baño unisex. Todo el sitio necesita una renovación y más acogedor.

Some friends and I stopped off at Costa Coffee recently one Sunday for coffee and cake. Minutes after ordering, we had to ask for one of the few tables available to be cleared and cleaned - it was very sticky and messy. My friend was observing other incidences where they could have been more on the ball with cleanliness whilst we were there. Costa Coffee is usually spot on with this sort of thing, and as always I could not fault their drinks or selection of cakes. It could have been an off-day, so I would return again, with hopes that it was unusual not being as tidy as I have come to expect from a branch of Costa Coffee

Everyone needs a sit down and a drink whilst shopping to recharge batteries. Delighted to find they had 7up free which is very unusual and along with Pepsi max we had diet friendly drinks which I was pleased were served with ice in a glass as so often as a non coffee drinker I get overlooked. Obviously the cake wasn't diet friendly but the caramel shortbread whilst being a bit on the small side for the price along with a chocolate finger went down easily. Place looked clean enough although the wc wasn't brilliant and could do with attention.

The staff don't want to serve customers they look bored, place is dirty, they try to avoid having to explain what different types of coffee is available

We popped into Costa for coffee and a cake. The place was busy but we ordered and found a seat. Coffee good, my muffin good, wife's cake a bit on the dry side but edible. However the surroundings needed a good clean. It seemed to us that the staff spent more time talking with one another than cleaning up after customers as our seats had crumbs on them requiring us to wipe them down before sitting. The table was free of crockery but also dirty. The drinks tray also could have done with a good wipe. My wife mistake was having to use the unisex toilet which was in a disgusting state. Love Costas but won't use Costas, Deepdale again.

My daughter and I wanted a hot drink and a little something to eat while we waited for traffic to calm getting off Deepdale Retail Park. It was fairly busy in Costa, since other people had probably had the same idea. We were served fairly quickly, but with no greeting, no conversation of any sort, in fact, apart from stating the total for our order. In fact the manager (who served us) was counting money, or doing something similar, with a wad of notes from the till, so wasn't concentrating on either task.
